I wish I had know about this book when I first started on NetGalley. I found this to be a great source of information with some amazing tips and tricks.

It was great to refresh my memory with the wonderful tips and tricks in this amazing book. Only this time I took notes.

This has a lot of exceptional tips and tricks that are essential for learning to be a better reviewer on NetGalley (and elsewhere). I plan on putting a lot of this into practice with my 2025 ARC reading and reviewing. This is an essential toolkit for any newbie here on NetGalley.

This toolkit was a nice refresher on how to navigate NetGalley and how I can improve choosing the books I would like to review and how to get my feedback ratio up!

This was a very thought out guide to help new comers, and old to navigate net galley! Not only that, but many useful tips on improving your overall appearance on the app.

As a new member of the NetGalley community, the guide book provided invaluable information about all facets of using the website, posting reviews, creating a profile, and more. The information was organized in an easy to digest and concise manner. I can't wait to use the tips as I utilize the website more and more!

This toolkit should be required reading for all NetGalley users. There's a plethora of helpful information in this kit that I'm sure even the most seasoned NetGalley user would walk away having learned something new or at least a different way of utilizing the site than expected. It provides information on how to write quality reviews (with a special spotlight on DNFing and writing critical reviews), how to ensure your profile is set up in the best way for publishers to view when reviewing your requests, and more. This helpful guide even talks about how to position yourself for success if you’re just starting on your book advocate journey,

My only suggestion is to name the PDF file the same as the title. Right now it’s a series of numbers.

The NetGalley's Book Advocate Toolkit was very helpful in giving tips on how to setup a NetGAlley profile. It walks you through what to include in your profile so you are more likely to be selected as an ARC reader by publishers. It also includes how to search and request books, what to expect once you are selected, and why it is important to give feedback on the books you are selected for. Throughout the book, there are many links to other articles to read to maximize the reader experience.

What an incredible tool! I have been reviewing on NetGalley for a few years now, but only really got focused on it within the last year. Right before the new year was a perfect time for a reset, as I worked through the end of my reviews and updated the info in my profile. Even just little details, like including all of the relevant links for your audience, and adding a favorite author to recommend to help publishers identify your taste, really help me feel like I'm more prepared to request the books that I really want to read. I also have the review section bookmarked on my additional desktop so that I can reference it while I write my first couple of reviews for the year and find my groove.

This is such an easy read and filled with helpful information. How to work with NetGalley, but also a way to set the land work for how to work with other ARC supporters.
