This is a great idea for any NetGalley user - old or new. It explains everything really well and I like that they updated it to include the newer additions. I also like that they added what to do for dnfs.
I'll definitely keep this on my shelf and hope to see even more updates to it whenever NetGalley does something great. I also like that it's nice and bright and a lot of cool designs all over that kept my attention - I'm glad it just wasn't blocks of text.

Great tips on how to get started and helps clarify the details of getting selected for an ARC. Perfect starting point for newbies to netgalley

This is a great document for those new to Net Galley and to reviewing books. It gives detailed information for how to navigate the website and how to best utilize the tools provided by Net Galley.

This toolkit is perfect for both new and old reviewers. I have been reviewing Netgalley since 2013, and this kit mentioned a few things I should be doing to keep my account relevant to publishers who may look at it before approving me for a book I have requested. I love how easy it was to click on links to get more in-depth information on interesting topics. I highly recommend this to reviewers new to NetGalley and reviewers who have been here for a few years or more.

This is a great reminder of the wonders of Net Galley. It's full of useful hints and tips, as well as ideas to encourage us all to love books and share that love around.

great and perfect resource for people who start using NetGalley. Also interesting for people who already have some experience using this website.

I was looking all over for some tips on how best to navigate NetGalley so this was the perfect fine. Very informative and helpful!

Good and basic intro for newbies in NetGalley. A very important guide for the beginners in NetGalley universe. This though should not be asked for review.

This is a great tool for those who are new to netgalley or an even just unsure of exactly how to use some areas of and around Netgalley. I have been on here for around one year and there are still things I don’t know, so this book was incredibly helpful. :)

Thank you for creating the Toolkit! I think the toolkit is simple and easy to ready and following along. I also really like all the snapshot that were added for a visual. I am a visual person with reading so this helped my brain process the content better. :)

This was benificial for someone like me who is new to net galley. I am enjoying it but this answered so many questions for a new reviewer like myself

Thanks for all the recent guides, Netgalley! I appreciate the help and support for your users, especially those of us who are long-term and always looking for ways to improve!

I found this guide to be very helpful. I am always looking for ways to improve my reviews, especially for audiobooks; so I especially appreciated the pointers for reviews, The examples provided were clear. The entire guide provided for a quick read and it was packed full of helpful information. Thank you @netgalley for providing this.

This is a much more thorough updated and revised version of the Book Advocate Toolkit. I appreciate that there are links to request tips, information about using the NetGalley Shelf App, and links to resources. They also explain the feature known as "the orange pencil", and what to do if you DNF a book. I also see that there is a Social Media Toolkit coming soon, and I am really looking forward to that!
Thanks NetGalley/We Are Bookish!

Not sure how to use NetGalley? Fear not. The book advocate toolkit is here!
I love NetGalley but have made many newbie mistakes upon requesting and reviewing ARCs from some of my favorite publishers. I like the layout of the newly revised guide making it easy to navigate topics of relevance. I found the embedded YouTube and NetGalley links providing additional in-depth help and content to be extremely useful. My favorites are the review tips, FAQs, and Do’s & Don’ts. The table of contents will direct you to a section of interest or it can read straight through it in less than 1 day if not 1 hour.
This is an excellent toolkit. With only 31 pages, it’s short and concise with helpful visuals on every page. I would highly recommend this to new users on NetGalley. Wish I had downloaded and read it sooner!

Thank you for this excellent resource, especially for those new to NetGalley. Thank you NetGalley for this advanced copy.

Love this guide! I’m new to reviewing and this was exactly what I needed to help with my bio and reviews. I will be using all the wonderful information to redo my bio to be more specific and offer the information publishers are looking for.

This is extremely useful. Even though I have used NetGalley for years I found some new and helpful information. I am going to keep this saved on my computer so I can consult when needed.

This was a nicely organized toolkit with actionable tips! I appreciated the links to longer articles to learn more about each recommendation. I especially appreciated the tips on how to write a critical review. Looking forward to the social media toolkit!

This article really helped me to get a better understanding of how NetGalley works which was very helpful since I was in hard time trying publishers to approve my book requests, now I feel more confident to ask for request knowing the multiple tips and tricks this article provides.
