Excellent addition to the series.Thank you to Netgalley and the publisher for allowing me to read and review an advanced copy of this novel. I highly enjoyed it and will be recommending it to others.

This little Christmas entry degrades this series. It has all the elements but is as if a checklist was made: put in some of Gran's sayings. Make Cheryl the enemy made gossip and be mean. It is a formulaic, cute if you like the series grab at the Christmas market. If I finish a book, it gets at least 3 stars. It was so short, I finished it. ho hum.

The Mistletoe Mystery by Nita Prose was a fun novella with the same characters as the full books but just in time for a Christmas story. As Molly the Maid and her beau Juan Manuel ready the hotel for the holidays, mysterious things happen as usual. A welcome addition to the series and the characters get even more likeable and interesting.

Just in time for the holidays, Molly the Maid is back! The Mistletoe Mystery is a delightful novella with the same cast of characters at The Regency Grand Hotel, that readers have come to enjoy. In preparation for their annual holiday party, Molly finds herself dealing with a mystery of her own, with Juan Manuel behaving unusually. Easy to read, and sprinkled with memories of holidays past with Gran, The Mistletoe Mystery is another great Nita Prose tale and I really enjoyed it. Thank you to NetGalley and Random House Ballantine Books for the advanced copy, all opinions are my own.

SYNOPSIS
- A short novella. Book 2.5 in the series.
- Molly is back, and she’s still Head Maid at the Regency Grand Hotel. She lives with her boyfriend, Juan, and he’s also a pastry chef at the hotel.
- Juan is acting out of sorts. Is something going on?
MY THOUGHTS
- I always enjoy getting to spend more time with Molly.
- This book, however, is NOT like the others. It isn’t a mystery. I would call it romance.
- Predictable.
- I enjoyed it, but I think only a certain audience will like it. If you are a fan of the series & love Christmas, this one is for you.
TL;DR: ⭐️⭐️⭐️romance, not mystery. would recommend to fans of The Maid series & Christmas lovers.
Thanks to Random House Publishing Group - Ballantine | Ballantine Books for this digital ARC in exchanges for an honest review. This book is out now.

I have read the other two books featuring Molly the Maid by Nita Prose and loved them - so I was very excited to be read this in advance! This was a cute novella following Molly, Juan, and Christmas at the Regency, however I didn’t enjoy it as much as I did the others.
Thank you to NetGalley and the publishers for my ARC in exchange for an honest review.

Sweet short story starring Molly the Maid and her boyfriend Juan. It takes place as the hotel is gearing up for a busy Christmas season and secret Santa party. Sets the stage for another book in the series!

Nita Prose did it again! This is such a precious and sweet novella that pays homage to the Christmas special episodes of sitcoms I loved growing up! Full of obvious miscommunication and charm!
I adore Molly the Maid and it was so nice to get more Juan Manuel after he was absent for a lot of The Mystery Guest - I find their dynamic so sweet and healing. I was surprised to have some tears in my eyes at the end of this short story!
This is a must read for all fans of The Maid. It’ll definitely get you in the holiday spirit!!

Thank you to NetGalley and Random House Publishing Group- Ballantine for this ARC in exchange for my honest review.
I absolutely loved both Molly the Maid novels, and The Mistletoe Mystery gave me the dose of Molly Gray I was missing while I await #3! Nita Prose writes a heartwarming and wholesome novella about the true spirt of the holiday season through Molly’s eyes. The story is so adorably structured around the cherished tradition of an advent calendar Molly and her Gran used to partake in when she was alive. Molly’s equally quirky boyfriend, Juan Manuel, tries his very best to step into the role of making sure Molly feels all of the magical holiday cheer. The cast of characters that we all know and love from both Molly the Maid novels return to rejoice in a Secret Santa gift exchange to partake in a Christmas season tradition that Molly is sure to never forget!
4/5!!!!!

I absolutely loved this novella in the Molly the Maid series...every single thing about it.
I love that it's centered around Christmas. I love that we get to see more of Molly as a child with her beloved gran, their traditions and their heartfelt moments. I love, love, love Juan Manuel in this one as we get to see more of his love and devotion to Molly. And I love that we don't have to contend with murder during the holiday season...always a plus. Oh, and I loved that it's a fast read, but I didn't feel shorted in any aspect of the book.
An absolute winner of a read!
My sincere thanks to the author, NetGalley and Random House Publishing Group/Ballantine for providing the free early arc of The Mistletoe Mystery for review. The opinions are strictly my own.

Thank you to NetGalley for the advance review copy in return for an honest review. I received a complimentary copy of this book. Opinions expressed in this review are completely my own. Love this series. Such a fun little novella for the holiday season.

This is a short story.
Perfect for the upcoming Holiday season. It might be a bit too sweet. It does deliver insights on how Molly thinks, her insecurities about her feelings and those of Juan. It might not everybody’s cup of tea, but I feel that reading about Molly, you just must love her. Helps to give an understanding that not everybody’s brain works the same way.

Omg this book was so sweet! The Mistletoe Mystery is a perfect companion to Nita Prose’s The Maid series and Molly the Maid continues to be one of my favorite literary characters. I absolutely savored the joyous holiday spirit and magic present within the story and cried at the end. I can’t wait to see what mysteries Molly and the crew at the Regency Grand solve next.

Happy Publication Day! The Mistletoe Mystery is a cute, Christmas-themed novella. Fans of Molly the Maid will enjoy reading about a “mystery” that involves her own life, but don’t expect it to have much depth—this is a quick read! Figuring out what is going on is not difficult, but there is a sweet ending and the usual quirky-charm of Molly to enjoy. Thanks to the author, publisher, and NetGalley for the opportunity to review this book.

I loved Molly in The Maid, so it was really cute to continue her story. Although it was a bit predictable, I still enjoyed following along with Molly and Juan as they prepared for the holidays. If you are looking for something quick and sweet, this is a great novella to get you into the holiday spirit.

If Nita Prose writes it, I’m reading it, period, end. of. sentence. 👏
Molly the Maid is one of my very favorite characters, and I’m so beyond thrilled that we get to jump back into her world at The Regency Grand with a Christmastime twist 🏨🎄✨
This novella was every bit as entertaining & enjoyable as any Molly the Maid story, and I’m so excited to finally add the physical copy to my shelf 💚

Thank you, thank you, THANK YOU to NetGalley, Nita Prose, and Random House - Ballantine for providing an e-ARC in exchange for an honest review!

An adorable Christmas story for our favorite Molly, the maid. If you love all of the other made books into Nita Prose, you need to pick this one up. When Molly and her boyfriend one are celebrating their fifth Christmas together, he starts acting a little suspicious. Our favorite cast of characters is back and it was a quick easy read.

It’s Christmastime and we are diving deeper into Molly’s world as she navigates the holiday season with Juan Manuel. Since losing her beloved gran, Christmas hasn’t felt quite the same, but Juan Manuel is determined to bring the magic back, filling an advent calendar with thoughtful gifts and serenading her with Christmas songs as he cooks. But just as Molly begins to wonder if she’s found her Prince Charming, there are others planting seeds of doubt. Can Molly trust him, or is there more to Juan Manuel than meets the eye?
What really stands out in this novella is the deeper exploration of Molly’s relationship with her gran. This emotional thread adds a heartwarming layer to the story, allowing us to see Molly’s growth and the bittersweet process of healing. The familiar theme of family ties, paired with Molly’s personal journey, gives the story emotional weight, making it more than just a holiday romance.
Thank you Random House Publishing Group - Ballantine Books and NetGalley for the digital ARC in exchange for my honest review.

Many thanks to NetGalley and Random House Ballantine Books for gifting me a digital ARC of this Molly the Maid novella by Nita Prose. All opinions expressed in this review are my own - 5 stars!
Molly Gray has always loved the holidays spent with her Gran. This year, her boyfriend, Juan Manuel, wants the holidays to be perfect for them. But rumors are swirling at the Regency Grand Hotel where they both work, causing Molly to question who she can trust.
I love Molly the Maid and this was indeed a lovely Christmas gift! Interspersed with Gran's life advice (which we all need to heed), are special holiday magical moments. This is a book I could easily read every year, similar to the Christmas story by O. Henry. While there's a touch of mystery, readers will know what's going on before Molly does, which just adds to the fun of seeing her reaction. These books are a must read!
