I was originally very interested in The Wolf Siren because I thought the concept of a "broken" heroine reuniting with her saviour on her own terms and finding the strength to grow into who she wants to be was exciting. Sadly, the start felt too passive and I lost trust that the author would do this dynamic justice, which is why I DNFed while everything was still going ok.
I'll give this a shot again once someone spoils me with how this all worked out ultimately. ;)

What's Interesting: Never getting involved with the victims he saves, but that she's an exception! But that she's still in danger and he needs to help her get away from fanatics! Not being able to control her shifting because of torture! But having to deny him but her resolve wear down!
