Jillian Keller has rebounded after divorce, raising her eight-year-old daughter on her own while working at the Get Lost Lodge with her family. She’s in a good place in her life, happy to be in her beloved hometown of Smile. However, her teenage crush, Levi Bright, has come back to town and the attraction she felt for him back then reignites and grows the more she sees him, which is often since he’s been filling in as chef at the lodge. It’s fast and a bit disconcerting considering her past failure with love.

Levi Bright left Smile to pursue his dream of becoming a chef and achieved his goal, but now he is craving a life closer to family and friends. He’s never forgotten his best friend’s younger sister, Jillian, and the kiss the “almost kiss” before he left for college. Now that Levi’s back, that simmering attraction they felt as teenagers is sparking up again. Levi’s ecstatic over his blossoming romance with Jillian, but knows she’s wary of jumping in too fast.

I adored Levi! He embraced life with gusto, from reaching out and achieving his dream of becoming a chef to realizing he wanted more from life than just a career and then doing something about it. I admired Jillian for picking up the pieces after a bad marriage and then thriving as a single mom. Both had to deal with messy issues: Jillian with her awful ex, and her personal fears of repeating the past; Levi had an angry and hurt father with his loving mother caught in between.

The picturesque setting of Smile, in the Lake Michigan area, sounded lovely with Get Lost Lodge as a perfect rustic lake getaway!

Get Lost With You was a sweet, small-town, second chance romance with a lively secondary cast of characters! It was a joy to experience Jillian and Levi’s journey to HEA!

I found myself wanting a little bit more from this one. The characters seemed a bit all over the place and the story didn't feel cohesive. The romance was cute, I just think it was missing something.

Book two in the Rock Bottom Love series, Get Lost is exactly what you would expect from a Sophie Sullivan book- a sweet romance. Single mother Jillian has moved back to her hometown- aptly named Smile- with her daughter Ollie after a bad divorce. Her heart skips a beat when she find out her teenage crush, Levi, has also returned home after leaving years ago for culinary school. Luckily, his heart skips a beat too, and it isn't long before they're falling hard for each other.

Both the characters of Jilly and Levi were well written and likeable, as was the small town and all its small town vibiness. Jilly is smart and sure of herself; Levi is steady and good with Ollie. There was one steamy scene but it ended with a fade to back.

The problem for me is that it just wasn't memorable. There wasn't any pining or angst as you waited for them to get together because it happens pretty much right away. There isn't any tension in their relationship, so halfway through the book I was wondering what the last half would be about...

Overall, it was a quick, cute read. If you want a cozy, happy, stress free book that'll keep your faith in good men and love stories, this is a good rec for you.

Thank you Netgalley and St. Martin's Press for my earc. A 3.5 star read downgraded to a 3 star.

This one lacked depth, lacked romance, lacked emotion, and even the plot felt lacking. I’ve enjoyed Sullivan’s work in the past but I could get into this one. Maybe because I couldn’t look past the town name of Smile. Maybe because the writing felt very “sweet”. Idk. Either way it just left a lot to be desired.

I received an advance review copy for free from the publisher via Netgalley and I am leaving this review voluntarily.

The cover of this book made me immediately want to pick it up and read it! I love that it’s a second chance for Jillian and Levi. I am also a big fan of the single parent trope! Overall cute read

Another amazing Sophie Sullivan light hearted, funny and swoon worthy book. A second chance at love in a small town where love is sweet and blooms.

I absolutely adored the first book in this series and was eagerly anticipating the second installment, but sadly, it didn't quite hit the mark for me. The story revolves around Jillian and Levi, exploring the complex and long-buried feelings they have for each other. Levi, being her brother's best friend and a sweet, caring chef, shared Jillian's feelings all along—such a tantalizing premise!

However, I found the characters themselves to be rather dull. Unfortunately, they didn't bring enough excitement to the romance, and I found myself losing interest pretty quickly. The only real standout for me was Ollie, whose adorable antics provided some entertainment, but even that wasn’t enough to keep me engaged for long.

Maybe it was just my reading mood at the time, but this installment didn’t resonate with me like the first did. I was hoping for more passion in their conversations, especially since it’s a closed-door romance. Overall, this one just didn’t quite capture the magic of the earlier book.

Absolutely stunning! I couldn't wait for book 2 to arrive and Sophie did not disappoint. This was a beautiful friends to lovers / second chance / small town romance and I'm here for it. I love how all the characters intertwined and some much needed goodness from Book 1 revealed and it melted my heart. Plus I adore Ollie and can't get enough of her! Overall, a fantastic read and I highly recommend!

I enjoyed this cute romance book! I do wish I read the first one beforehand so that I could hear becket and Presleys relationship. I love the long time friends to lovers trope, and adding a cute child into the mix, makes it that much cuter!

I love Sophie Sullivan as an author and as a person. But this just wasn't my favorite. It was verrrry sweet, Levi was a walking green flag, the small town was charming. But something was missing for me. Maybe it was not seeing much into their past in order for their instant connection to feel genuine. Maybe it was the lack of real substance in any of the characters. Maybe it was the minor hiccup with the ex-husband that amounted to nothing. I can't quite pinpoint it.
There were plenty of redeeming moments to be sure. Loved how down bad Levi was and how much he loved her daughter Ollie. I can appreciate the grand gesture in the end and all of the loving things said between Jilly and Levi.
I'm happy they got their HEA but while it wasn't predictable HOW they would get there, it was predictable that they WOULD. It felt too sweet and easy, but if that's what a reader wants, then this is the book for them!

I had high expectations for this one after reading Sophie Sullivan’s Can’t Help Falling in Love and it was everything I had hoped for. It is a sweet and swoonworthy romance with a picturesque setting. There’s just something about the lodge/camp vibe that had me completely drawn in. This one had some of my favorite tropes with second chance romance and forced proximity and I loved Jilly’s growth throughout the story!

This was a quick, cute read! The mutual pining was really sweet and I loved how patient Levi was. I wish there had been a little more tension in the story because they both know they like each other pretty quickly so there weren't any big obstacles. But if you're looking for a cozy, low-stakes story this is perfect!

Tropes:
✨Childhood crush/mutual pining
✨Dual pov
✨Brothers best friend
✨Single mom (of a 9 year old)

Get Lost with You by Sophie Sullivan is a charming, feel-good romance with just the right amount of heart and humor. The small-town setting is cozy, and as always, the characters are lovable, with sweet chemistry and a hint of spice. While it didn’t quite reach five-star perfection, it’s a delightful escape and an excellent pick for anyone who loves a comforting, easy-to-love romance. Solid four stars!

I really enjoyed Jilly and Levi's story. I like a second chance at love romances and this one was pleasant read. The characters were likable and romance was sweet. There was something missing for me. Also, not a big fan of third person POV.

Even though this is the second book in the series, I didn’t read the first book and I was easily able to read this one as a standalone.

Get Lost with You is the second in a series. However, I think you could read this as a standalone. I did not read the first book and felt like this could be read on it's own. This was a cute brother's friend, second change romance. Jilly returns to the small town of Smile with her daughter after divorcing her husband. She is living in her childhood home and works at a resort that one of her brother's runs. Levi also returns to Smile after working in a larger town as a chef for years. Both of them had crushes on each other in high school but never acted on it. This was a cute story, predictable but fun.

3.5 rounded up to 4.

Jilly is a divorced single mom who has returned to her hometown and is working on the family business, while Levi is her childhood crush with whom she shared a *moment* before he left for the big city to pursue his culinary dreams, but their reunion of course reignites old feelings. I recommend Get Lost with You for anyone interested in a delightful blend of family-oriented, wilderness-adjacent, second chance, single mom, brother's best friend, small town romance goodness.

Thank you to St. Martin's Press for gifting me with an ARC to review! All opinions are my own.

Jillian Keller had to survive an awful marriage before moving back in with her parents along with her wonderful little girl. She's set up a life full of friends and family and convinced herself she has it all, until a boy from her past returns to town and shakes things up. Levi Bright left Smile to pursue his dream of being a chef. He left his family, his best friends, and their little sister, the girl he always had a crush on but never dared pursue. Now, they're back together and realizing that the seeds of feelings from their youth could grow into so much more if only they're brave enough to give it a chance.

I say the following with nothing but love: this book is pure, unadulterated fluff. And that's the reason why I enjoyed it so much. There are challenges, but they're the simple ones that everyone faces at one time or another of having to decide what to do with your life and where/how you want to live. There's no unnecessary drama beyond the mandatory third-act breakup that doesn't really feel like a breakup. You know these characters are meant to be and everything and everyone around them supports them. It's great to read a romance where the leads are mature enough to know what they want and ready to take on the work of an adult relationship. The fact that it's set in a small town that feels adorably like an extended family is just icing on the cake.

Very happy thanks to NetGalley and St. Martin's Griffin for the sweet romance read!

The charming little town of Smile works its magic once more. I couldn't help but smile. This is such a feel good story.

Jilly is busy at her brother's lodge when she unexpectedly reunites with an old friend, Levi, who has returned to town. He takes on the role of the lodge's chef, and their close quarters rekindle their friendship. The bond Levi shares with Jilly's daughter, Ollie, is incredibly heartwarming. As Jilly navigates the challenges of her divorce and the emotional turmoil that comes with it, Levi finds himself captivated by her all over again, as if no time has passed. Jilly considers what her daughter needs most, and Levi demonstrates how perfectly he fits into their lives.

Truly heartwarming and such a fun atmosphere to get me out of the winter funk.

Levi and Jillian are all grown up, with eye-opening life experiences behind them, and can finally get the second they both deserve in this sweet, heartwarming romance.

These two had wonderful chemistry between them. They started something pretty early on, and even though the attraction burned hot, they took their time to finally act on it. Their intimate scenes were fade-to-black, but very intense, nonetheless.

There were some slow-moving parts and the bits with her ex felt like unnecessary filler. It was clear that Jillian had plenty to deal with after her disastrous marriage, without bringing him into the picture. Levi had his own issues, but he was wholly committed to making the relationship with Jillian work. Ollie and Levi were super cute together.

The ending was pretty corny, but perfect for closing the loop of Levi and Jillian that started when they were kids. This book is part of a series but stands well on its own. I didn't read the first one. I can recommend it if you like a charming closed-door romance.
