I might be biased because I love Sophie Sullivan and her books. She has done it again. We are back in Smile and Get Lost Lodge, this time with Jillian's story.
We meet Levi Bright who is friends with Jilly's brothers. He is back in town to stay. Levi had a thing for Jilly back in the day and vice versa but they never dated. Levi is set on changing that. There is a little slow burn but they really like each other. Levi is one of the sweetest book boyfriends. He is patient and understanding when it comes to Jilly. Jilly has a lot of things to work through and sometimes frustrated me but she had a lot of growth.
The side characters are always so much fun. We get to see Beckett and Presley from the last Get Lost book and all the other Smile townspeople. Jillian's daughter, Ollie, is as adorable as ever!
I would recommend this book if you like a second-chance romance with a tiny little bit of spice but fade to black.
Thank you to St Martin's Press, NetGalley, and Sophie Sullivan for the e-ARC of this book. This review is my own opinion.

It was great to be back in this world. I liked the previous book better. I did not feel like much happened in this one. The ex was not much of a barrier. The romance was good. Needed more sex

Listen, maybe I’m the drama, because I need more antagonism between my main characters in a romance or I get bored. And man was I bored with this. It just didn’t feel like there was any passion between these two. They didn’t seem to feel a rush when interacting, there’s no banter, playful teasing, even fun one liners. It’s just basic dialogue and an occasional compliment. I felt nothing. Such a shame because I love a good small town romance and second chance, but this was doing nothing for me so I didn’t ever want to pick it up.

The writing didn’t feel smooth to me. It was back and forth too much in the prose in a disjointed way. I just had a hard time getting into it. But the story itself was good

We are back at the Get Lost Lodge with the Keller siblings. This time with sister Jilly. She reconnects with her high school crush, Levi, when he returns to their small Michigan town.
This was a cute story that focused on communication and Jilly getting past her fears to try something new.
Well written, this captures the relationship between the siblings and makes the reader wish for a family like the Kellers!
I truly enjoyed getting to know everyone and found myself rooting for Jilly and Levi to figure things out.
If you have read the first book in the series, you will be glad to see more of Beckett and Presley. I am curious to see what happens to Grayson!

Overall: 2/5

What I’m Starry-Eyed Over:
🤩 I loved the idea of this one being small town Smile, Michigan & being like Mackinac Island.
🤩 The secret pining.
What I’m Wishing
💫 I just didn’t get the feels I like to feel when reading romance books. I was bored & the audiobook (3rd person, dual pov, one narrator) didn’t seem to help. Darn. I’ve heard that there will be another narration—a male narrator. They should have just done a dual narration. 🤷🏼♀️

This is an entertaining, well-written, second-chance, contemporary romance novel. I just happened to read it at a time when I was wanting more.

We get to return to smile and get Jillian's story!! This is book 2 the first was Love, Naturally but this can be standalone.
Both Jillian and Levi left Smile for a spell. Jillian returned 5 years ago and divorced with daughter Ollie. They are helping open Gray's camp and enjoying life when Levi (her childhood crush) returns to town.
Neither have found true and real love but always went back to the emotions they shared for each other in high school. When they are back and spending time together both are apprehensive to let in love. Jillian has built a life for her and her daughter and doesn't want love to ruin it. Levi is willing to wait and show her how much he cares.
Levi back in Smile to be with his aging parents continues his dream of being a chef. Now figuring out how Jillian fits into that.
This sweet second chance, brothers best friend and single mom romance had me from the beginning. If you enjoy any of these tropes...then pick up this book.
Sophie Sullivan has become a favorite author of mine and I'm currently making it through her backlog 💛🤍

Love this author and not disappointed with this one! The way she writes flows wonderfully weaving relation and fiction and thus creates a balance that keeps your attention.

Jilly and Levi had crushes on each other in high school, but he was 2 years older and beat friends with her brothers.
Now he's back in town, and she's a single mom working at her brother Grayson's lodge. Those crushes come back full force. The book is them navigating their feelings and also their work choices.
Nice to see Beckett and Presley again, along with Ollie - the 9 year old was one of my favorite parts of the book. Jilly and Levi are obviously meant to be together, and I loved that they helped each other reach their career goals as well

This was my first Sophie Sullivan book, and I loved the journey! The main characters had great energy, and I loved how every supporting character also had very distinct personalities. Parts of the book felt slow to me, but that may be because it was a little more character driven than I prefer.
Thank you to SMP and NetGalley for the early copy!

Engaging, heartfelt, and fun!
𝐆𝐞𝐭 𝐋𝐨𝐬𝐭 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐘𝐨𝐮 is an alluring, tender romance that transports you to the idyllic town of Smile and into the lives of the reliable, handsome Levi and the hardworking, single mother Jilly as they discover that even though they’ve known each other platonically for years, there may be a little something more underneath that’s worth taking a chance on.
The writing is light and playful. The characters are supportive, kind, and genuine. And the plot is an entertaining, amusing mix of friendship, family, community, responsibilities, parenthood, snappy banter, undeniable chemistry, tricky moments, small-town drama, and unconditional love.
Overall, 𝐆𝐞𝐭 𝐋𝐨𝐬𝐭 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐘𝐨𝐮 is another sweet, uplifting, satisfying addition to the 𝘙𝘰𝘤𝘬 𝘉𝘰𝘵𝘵𝘰𝘮 𝘓𝘰𝘷𝘦 series by Sullivan that touches on the importance of healing, friendship, self-discovery, and finding happiness.

I was provided both the ALC and ARC of this book via Netgalley, all opinions are my own. Than you to St. Martins Press/St. Martin's Griffin and RB Media/Recorded Books for providing me with advanced copies of the book in both formats. I have really come to enjoy reading along with the audiobook when I get the opportunity. The narrator did a great job keeping me engaged
This was a super sweet second chance, small town romance. Jillian Keller, aka Jilly has been in love with Levi since high school. He left their small town of Smile to chase his dreams of becoming a chef and working in a big time fancy restaurant and while he had feelings for her, he didn't want to lead her on. He was also friends with her older brothers and didn't want to break the "bro code". Fast forward into the future, Jilly is a divorced single mom and helping to run a small lodge with her brothers. She is cautious about everything in her life but overly so when it comes to love after her failed marriage. She has alot on her plate with the lodge's summer opening looming and some new offerings on the way to bring in new clients. She doesn't have time for a new relationship when Levi reenters her life, but everything happens for a reason.
Levi has returned home to help out with the family construction business when his dad needs routine surgery. There is a rift between father and son that needs mending due to Levi leaving town to pursue his dreams and not taking over the family business. Naturally feelings were hurt, but Levi wants nothing more than to mend this fence and reestablish himself in his home town. He achieved his goal to become a successful chef, and now more than ever he knows that the small town life is what he wants. He also wants to explore that spark he has always felt for Jilly, so when an opportunity to cook at the lodge and spend more time with her opens up he jumps at the chance to show her how great they can be together and that he isn't going anywhere.
I really loved this. Levi and Jilly were really cute together, they kept their relationship playful while dealing with real life situations. They passed notes to one another like teenagers to keep things fun, while building up the trust needed for something concrete. It is very low spice, there are some intimate scenes, but they are fade to black and not very descriptive. I appreciated that Jilly got to explore her feelings of inadequacy in a relationship and fears about a new relationship as a single mom on her own terms. She had real conversations with Levi and the conversation she had with her mom were really great to help her overcome her objections and find love again.
This is the 2nd book in the Rock Bottom series, but it does read as a complete standalone. I have not read the 1st book in the series which centers around Jilly's brother Beckett and girlfriend Presley. They are side characters in this book, and I'll be picking Love, Naturally soon as I want to know everything about their love story! This is also my first book by the author, but it will not be my last!

I love a good second-chance romance, and this one was a pleasant read! Jilly and Levi were likable, and their romance was sweet. I also really enjoyed the small-town setting—it had that cozy, charming feel I always appreciate in stories like this. Levi’s relationship with his father was a standout for me. It felt realistic, and I liked that it wasn’t resolved in just one conversation like so many other conflicts in the book.
That said, I wish the romance had been more of a slow burn. Their relationship moved really fast, and I would’ve liked to see them take more time to truly reconnect. The lack of communication between them was also frustrating at times, which made some of their conflicts feel unnecessary.
I also had mixed feelings about the side characters. They were okay, but none of them really stood out, and I struggled to keep track of all the new names being introduced. The town itself was quaint and had potential, but it felt a bit overcrowded with too many characters too soon.
This was a cute, easy read that I had fun with, even if it didn’t blow me away. If you’re in the mood for something lighthearted and sweet, this might be worth picking up!
Thanks to NetGalley and the publisher for the eARC in exchange for my honest opinion.

This is the second book in the series, and it stands well on its own. The story follows the 'second chance at love' trope, which is always a favorite. Levi and Jillian basically grew up together as he was best friends with her older brothers. He leaves town after high school graduation, but comes back 15 years later to help care for his ailing father. Sparks fly when they meet again, and of course, they have their happily ever after.
I enjoyed getting to know them better, and meeting more folks from Smile and the Get Lost Lodge. It's very low spice (closed door), but still an interesting enough story to keep readers captivated. Definitely worth the read.

Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for an e-ARC in exchange for an honest review.
I didn't know this was a second book in a "series" per se when I started this book and hadn't read the first. However, it did not impede my understanding of the story or the characters. But, I really want to read the first book now!
This sweet story focuses on Jilly, a divorced single mother who is living with her parents while raising her daughter and working with her brothers at their lodge/resort. I really loved the setting on the Island of Smile in Michigan. It was the cutest little town that I wish was real so I could visit!
Jilly has given up on love and is just focused on being a mom and her jobs. But, then her childhood crush returns home and all the feelings she had for him come flooding back. To her shock, he has feelings too and they start a relationship. Jilly is struggling with letting him in and then really struggles when her daughter starts to get close to him as well. This is a really enjoyable story with lovable characters and a happy ending. I definitely recommend and look forward to more books by this author.

Small town, everybody knows everybody vibes radiate throughout the pages of GET LOST WITH YOU by Author Sophie Sullivan. Childhood friends with secret crushes on one another both return to their hometown and suddenly sparks are flying. One leaves behind a successful career as a New York City chef and the other is looking for a new beginning with her young daughter after a messy, ugly divorce.
Jilly and daughter, Ollie, return to Smile to live and work on her brother's resort, Get Lost Lodge. She fights her attraction to Levi who's now accepted a job as the lodge's chef. Levi has returned home in hopes of mending his broken relationship with his dad which appears to be hopeless. However, it doesn't take Levi long to know he wants the woman and her adorable daughter in his future, but Jilly is reluctant to enter another relationship after having been burned badly by her cheating ex-husband. As Jilly and Levi are forced into close proximity, all the warm, fuzzy feelings explode into a sizzling inferno, but Jilly still refuses to let her guard down while continuing to hold Levi at arm's length. Can he convince her that he's sincere and hopelessly in love with her and Ollie?
Author Sophie Sullivan has delivered another low angst, small town, second chance romance in spades. The characters are well-developed and likable, and I find it a nice change of pace that the hero falls first or at least acknowledges to himself that he's in love first. While the pace is a little slow, I enjoyed the journey as the pair spend time together before declaring forever and ever love. It feels more realistic, and an adorable child added an element of cuteness and a few laughs to the mix. Highly recommended to fans of small-town romance.

This felt rushed throughout. The romance between Levi and Jillian developed at warp-speed and while I understand the premise of childhood crush to lovers, the pace was hard to swallow. The conflict teased with Jillian's ex seemed like it was building to something significant but it fizzled out with a whimper. Overall, I was very excited about this book, because I liked the first one, but this was unmemorable, albeit inoffensive.

I got about halfway through the book, but I could not bring myself to finish it. The downfalls of being a mood reader. I will give this book another try at a later date but as of right now, I don't see myself coming back to this anytime soon. I'm sure this book will be well received by others though as it had promise.

I enjoyed reading Get Lost with You by Sophie Sullivan. You will fall in love with all the characters. I received an ARC of this book courtesy of NetGalley and the publisher. All opinions expressed in this review are my own and given freely. Happy Reading!
