I’m not a fan of instalove and that’s what this felt like-like they just picked up where they left off as teens, crazy about each other. But it grew on me! And now I just want s’mores. Hehe

Perfect for fans of…
-sort of second chance (teenage crush, now adults)
-single mom
-cinnamon role MMC

This book is the second book in a series, but you could read it as a stand alone.

I am a sucker for a second chance romance. Add in a strong sense of place with a small town and I am in.

I enjoyed the alternative points of view between the main characters. It was nice to revisit the main characters from the first book as well.

Thanks to @netgalley and @stmartinspress for the advanced reader copy.

Get Lost with You was a very charming second chance, small town romance. In the previous book in the series, we were introduced to all of our main characters in the small town of Smile. In book 2, Jilly gets her chance at a happily ever after with her long lost love/childhood friend. This book was super hallmark vibes which I was in the mood for. I was all in for Levi and Jilly and this was a perfect escape for me!

Thank you #Netgalley for the ARC in exchange for an honest review.

Single mom Jillian loves her life; she works at her brother's resort, lives with her parents, and raises the best nine-year-old on the planet! Enter Levi, her first love, well, unrequited love, that is. But things aren't so unrequited anymore! Levi is hot, sexy, and home for good, and he can't help but notice that Jilly is all grown up.

Book two in the Rock Bottom Love series is funny, sexy, and fun. Levi was the perfect book boyfriend who makes you swoon and wonder why your man doesn't treat you like he treats Jilly. Jillian is the ideal heroine, a strong, independent woman still trying to heal from past hurts. You can't help but root for their love and hope they get over their misunderstandings and end happily ever after.

This book was a delightful read! It was a charming, heartwarming, and entertaining second chance romance that made me fall in love with the small town and its quirky characters. It was like they were meant to be together as their paths cross once again.

This is Levi Bright and Jillian Keller’s journey to a HEA and it kept me smiling until the end.

I absolutely adored these characters and their families, but the dynamic between Jilly, her daughter Ollie, and Levi was simply spot-on. Oh, and I absolutely adore childhood crushes and brother’s best friend tropes! They’re just so swoon-worthy! This is my first book by this author, but it won’t be my last! The ending was fantastic!

Successful chef Levi Bright has lived his culinary dreams and is now ready to return to his hometown of Smile, Michigan and reconnect with the family and friends he left behind. Jillian Keller is one of those people. Little sister of his best friend, Jillian was always a bit off limits. Now, Levi looks forward to getting to know her as adults. Jillian finally has her life back on track. After a devastating divorce, Jillian returned to Smile with her young daughter and has carved out a place for herself. She now helps her family run the Get Lost Lodge and does some accounting on the side. When her childhood crush returns to town, it throws Jilly for a loop. She lost trust in herself after her marriage imploded and is scared of getting hurt again. Levi is determined to prove himself and his commitment to Jilly and his community. Will Jilly be able to let go of her fears or will Levi have to make a life in Smile without the woman and child he’s come to love?

Sophie Sullivan’s Get Lost with You is a fun return to Smile and the Get Lost Lodge! It’s as sweet, gooey, and satisfying as a freshly toasted s’more. Smile is the small town everyone wants to live in. It’s full of colorful, quirky people you wish were your friends. Sullivan draws you into this special place with its good natured shenanigans and lively happenings. You want to be right there having a waffle at Pete’s, popping into the General Store for a peek at the chalkboard, strolling Tourist Lane, or indulging in a late night treat at Petal’s Pie Palace. Levi is a kind, centered man ready to commit to making a life in his hometown. He’s lived his dreams and wants his forever. Jilly is devoted to her family and her daughter, Ollie. She’s smart and driven to make Get Lost Lodge a success. They’re grounded and steady and perfect for each other. There are a few bumps and hiccups on the way to happily ever after, but it’s very low angst and gives off great heart healing energy. Get Lost with You is joyful and warm, a perfect addition to the Rock Bottom Love series.

I had a difficult time getting into this book and could not connect with the characters or the story. Didn't care much for the writing and I found myself getting bored with it. Struggled through it until the end. I enjoy reading romance but sadly this one just didn't cut it for me.

This was a cute rom-com that is the second book in the series. So now I need to go back and read the first book! I enjoyed Jillian and Levi’s story, starting back in high school, and the fast-forwarding to the present. I loved Ollie and the rest of Jillian’s family as they were hysterical, but seemed like a fun and loyal family. Watching Levi get to know Ollie and how he treated her was really special because dating someone with a child, when you do not have children, is no joke. I think the author did a great job of playing that out. I hope there is a 3rd book being written because I have an idea of where that might go. 😉

jillian was a single mom with no intentions of dating. her previous relationship failed and she didn’t want to be let down by yet another man who didn’t see her worth. when she ran into her childhood crush, levi, she began to rethink things. levi was her brothers’ best friend aka off limits. ya know, bro code.

it was apparent to everyone in smile that jill and levi had chemistry right away. for the readers though, i felt like the chemistry was lacking and got bored reading reeaaally quick.

i saw a lot of people said levi had green flag energy but i disagree. he had ambitions and quickly tossed them aside to work at the lodge where jill works which screamed red flag to me. i was interested in seeing how the food truck that he’d be dreaming of played out but that quickly got pushed aside. i felt like levi was putting his life on the back burner to be closer to jill. big ick.

all in all, this book lacked anything interesting. i normally really like sophie sullivans books but this one was hard to get into and slow to start. it wasn’t until about 40% through when we learned a bit about jill’s ex that i started to get into the book and for reasons that didn’t really matter either.

Very hallmark channel, very cute, very cozy and loving. This is a second chance romance with the return to the hometown feel that makes me love romance books I don’t care how predictable they can be. I recommend this to anyone looking for a heartfelt good time with a happy ending.

3.75/5 rounded up

Thank you St. Martin's Griffin for the advanced reading copy!

Sooooo cute. I really enjoyed the first book in this series and I’m glad to say I liked this too! Brother’s best friend + second chance romance + childhood love + small town = soooo cute. There were some times at the start that this felt a little but insta-lovey for me (even though it was technically second chance) and I wish we had gotten more background on Jilly & Levi’s relationship/friendship growing up to really give us those second chance vibes.

Levi was soooo 😍😍😍😍 Such a sweetie and him bonding with Ollie gave me all the feels. I was glad that the conflict wasn’t tooooo much, because I was waiting for it the entire time and that can make or break a book for me.

Overall a little bit cheesy and a lot heartwarming. Anticipating Lainey’s book might be next and I would definitely read that!

Get Lost with You is a sweet second chance romance that comes at the right time. Jillian and Levi both are ready, whether or not they know it, to find their happiness. This book gives you all the feels of a happy ever after.

Thank you netgalley for an arc of Get Lost with You by Sophie Sullivan

I will never skip a Sophie Sullivan novel. She is on my auto-buy list and will always be. I enjoyed continuing this new series of hers and was excited for Jillian's story. She easily brings a small town alive and makes you smile with romance.

Get Lost with You by Sophie Sullivan is the second book in the Rock Bottom series.
Jillian Keller is living in her hometown of Smile, raising her daughter, and helping her brother with the Get Lost Lodge. She is settled and not looking for anything to mess that up. Levi Bright is an accomplished chef but his life is missing something. He comes home to Smile and runs into Jilly, his friend’s sister and Levi’s childhood crush. Levi starts working at the Lodge and Jilly and Levi get their second chance.

This is a quick, lighthearted, and sweet romance. However I did feel the chemistry was lacking between the two main characters. Read this if you like:
-second chance romance
-small town romance
-single mom
-brother’s friend
-feel good romance

Sophie Sullivan is back with the second book in the Rock Bottom Love series, Get Lost With You! I read and loved the first book, Love, Naturally, and while I highly recommend you read all of Sophie’s books, I think this one can definitely be read as a standalone. I’ve read multiple books by Sophie Sullivan now, and I’ve loved them all! If you are looking for a sweet book with a happily ever after, Sophie Sullivan is who you want to read!

Jilly is raising her daughter Ollie and helping her brother run Get Lost Lodge in her small hometown called Smile. Levi runs into an old crush named Levi who has moved back to their hometown. Convinced she can just remain friends with her once crush, who she starts to work closely with as they prepare to open the Lodge for bust season, everything changes when Levi is hired on as the new chef. As time passes and both Jilly and Ollie start to grow more and more attached to Levi, can Jilly learn to trust that things might work out differently this time?

Get Lost With You is a really cute and sweet small-town, second chance, single parent romance that is perfect for those who love a sweet story or are just getting into the romance genre. While this is the second in a series, it can be read as a stand-alone (as I read it) although you will definitely get more from it if you read the first book first. I do plan on going back and reading the first book because the characters in this series are just so lovely and likable. The setting is idyllic - an island town in Michigan near Mackinaw City filled with charm and quirky characters.

Thank you to NetGalley and St. Martin's Press for the digital ARC. My review is honest and voluntary.

Get Lost with You is a sweet love story that brings us back to Smile, Get Lost Lodge and the Keller family. We love interconnected series for the fact that you can go back to places like Get Lost Lodge and spend time with the other characters and see their love stories. Jilly and her daughter Ollie made appearances in Love, Naturally and we're happy to have more of them. Levi was a great addition to the crew. We liked seeing Jilly and Levi reconnect in adulthood after having secret mutual crushes on each other growing up. Their love bloomed quickly and we wish there was just a little more backstory. It was an overall satisfying story.

Looking forward to Grayson’s turn (there better be a Grayson’s turn LOL) in the future!

Read if you like:
▪️small town romance
▪️brother's friend
▪️single mom

Thank you to NetGalley, the author, and the publishing team for providing me with an ARC in exchange for my honest review.

A nice, sweet read of a second chance love between Levi and Jilly. This was a nice palate cleanser and kept me engaged.

This is a quick fun second chance romance. It is the second book in a series about the Keller siblings. Jillian came back to Smile with her daughter five years ago after her divorce and has been living with her parents in her childhood home. After her brother’s successful launch of a lodge on the lake last summer, she has decided to quit her accounting job to be part of the family business. In the meantime, her teenage crush has returned to town and she cannot stop thinking about him. I enjoyed this book and cannot wait for the next one.

Book 2 in the Rock Bottom Love series continues the story of the Keller family and Get Lost Lodge. Levi Bright comes home to help his parents and finds Jillian Keller. With her past she's skittish about a relationship, but Ollie and her family help her see what can be for the future. Hopefully this is not the end, there is another brother that needs a mate and we need to know what caused the conflict between the brothers at the pub.

I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own. This review is based on an ARC from NetGalley, courtesy of the publisher.
