Levi Bright and Jillian Keller’s disastrous almost kiss was the best thing that nearly happened in their teenage years. Now, more than a decade letter, they find themselves back in their quaint hometown with the chance to try again. However, they’re not the same bright-eyed kids they used to be—Jilly’s now a single mom and divorcee and Levi has achieved his professional dreams yet still feels empty. Could Jilly be the thing Levi has been missing, and is Jilly ready to take a second chance on love?

This book is the second in the Rock Bottom Love series, but, as someone who had not read the first, I can confidently say it stands alone just as well. I felt like the recipe for a really sweet romance was there, but I’m not certain it quite worked as well for me as I would have liked. Jilly and Levi’s feelings are made clear to both the reader and each other very early on, and for me, that spoiled the tension I look for in a romance read. The couple got together early on, and so I found myself waiting for the major conflict of the book. While minor conflicts were sprinkled throughout, I struggled to identify a central conflict that could take the place of the pursuit of the relationship. Author Sophie Sullivan instead focused on each character’s individual development, which was well done in the chapters that alternative points of view. Sullivan did this well, allowing us to see Levi’s motivations for returning home and to understand Jilly’s hesitation at starting a relationship with him. Sullivan remained very in touch with each character’s emotions and drive, and as a result, neither character felt disingenuous. However, when I turn to romance reads, I really am looking for the story to be focused on the couple and their journey to finding one another, rather than their development as individuals. So, while Sullivan is a talented writer, this ultimately wasn’t the right read for me.

Although I enjoyed this sweet, romantic story, it didn’t capture my attention. I’m a fan of the second chance, friends to lovers, brother’s best friend, and small town romance tropes, but I prefer a slower build-up of a relationship. This was almost Instalove, Levi and Jilly quickly realizing that the feelings they both secretly harbored for each other in their teens were all the more potent as adults. There was very little angst, tons of kissing with some very mild, totally non-descriptive steamy scenes, and a ridiculous 3rd act breakup that was quickly resolved. Levi is a wonderful book boyfriend, and Jilly’s 9-year-old daughter is a delightfully precocious character. Overall, though, there just wasn’t much happening in the book, so predictable but ultimately forgettable.

Get Lost With You brings us back to the Smile, Michigan family and is like a warm hug from a small Midwestern town. Sophie is a queen of the HEA and this novel shines with a lovable cast of family and community.

Get Lost with You is a low-angst second-chance romance between Jillian and Liam, both of whom had left their small town of Smile after high school. Jillian and her daughter had moved back two years prior after a divorce and Liam more recently came back to town after his father’s illness. The two are immediately attracted to each other again, but it was mostly “tell” and not “show.” I enjoyed most of the family relationships, and I liked that the daughter was an integral part of the relationship.

I didn’t read the first book in the series but easily figured out the people and relationships.

Thanks to NetGalley and St. Martin's Press | St. Martin's Griffin for an eARC. Opinions are my own.

I tried getting into it but it’s just not for me. The third person pov is also not helping with my book slump right now.

I have yet to read a Sophie Sullivan romance I didn't enjoy -- she has mastered the feel-good, second-chance, small-town romance with authentic characters and Her writing is always super consistent and I know when I read a book written by her I’m going to end up with the warm and fuzzy feels I am looking for.

I loved the history that Jill and Levi shared, and how they became better versions of themselves . While Jill was married and had a child in-between, you could tell that she was still the same "Jilly" to Levi, and he was all-in from the beginning. Levi was a delight, and a green flag man in every sense of the word.

Although I hadn't read the first book in this series, I didn't struggle to read it at all -- it was a great stand-alone novel, and I'm sure a delightful addition to the first. Plus, there was plenty of explanation as to who was who, and all of the characters were just wonderful. I easily got lost in "Get Lost With You!"

First off thank you to NetGalley, St. Martin's Press and Sophie Sullivan for the eArc! This is my second read of hers and I did enjoy it as much as the first. I will need to go back and read the first one about the Keller siblings.

-Brothers Best Friend
-Second Chance Romance
-Hot Chef
-Single Mom

This was such a fun cozy read set in a small town of Smile, Michigan. Jillian has been back home for 5 years after a bad divorce. A now single mom learning to trust herself again. Levi, her two brothers best friend and teenage crush returns home from moving to the city to become a chef. Sparks start to fly when they both are helping out her brothers camping lodge and learning that they both had feelings for each other when they were teenagers. I loved how close the Keller family was and her daughter Ollie was so cute and funny. I am looking forward to going back and reading the first book and hope the 3rd is about Grayson and Lainey!

This was fine but definitely dragged quite a bit in places. It took me longer to read than I expected. I didn’t read the first book in the series but I felt like I knew enough about the Keller siblings from reading this one. Thank you NetGalley and St Martin’s Griffin for the ARC.

This is the second entry in Ms. Sullivan's "Rock Bottom Love" series, and it can be read as a stand alone. I’ve always loved Sophie Sullivan and all of her characters. Sophie does an amazing job at creating lovable characters, and Jilly is just one of many. The only thing that I didn’t like was that it was written in third person. I’ll give it a 4.5 because that was my only fault with this book… Thank you for the opportunity to read this book..

This is an entertaining, well-written, second chance, contemporary romance novel. It has a likable female protagonist, a kind and caring male protagonist, an adorable nine year old girl, wit, humor, small town charm, vividly described settings and meals, a heartwarming romance, and a satisfying conclusion. I especially liked the beautiful promise and unique gifts. This is the second entry in Ms. Sullivan's "Rock Bottom Love" series, and it can be read as a stand alone. Many thanks to St. Martin's Press/St. Martin's Griffin, Ms. Sullivan, and NetGalley, from whom I received an advanced reader copy of this delightful novel. This is my honest opinion.

I really enjoyed Love, Naturally and was excited to be back in Smile. Though this is the second in the series, this can be read as a standalone.

This is a second chance, single mom romance with Jilly and Levi. Levi returns home to help his father who recently had surgery. While home, he runs into Jilly and old feelings brews.

I enjoyed their time together to get and also the time that Levi spends with her daughter.

I do have some issues with some of the plot, like her parents' dropping a big surprise and her brothers hiring someone without consulting her when they are a tight knit family. I also wished that the book was not written 3rd person POV, I don't feel as vested in the story.

Thank you @smpromance for a copy of the book.

Get Lost with You was a fun escape from the cold, dark of winter. Set at a fledgling family-run lodge in Michigan, it took me to early summer and the promise of sunshine and outdoor adventures. Jillian is a single mom who works too hard (no really) to keep her child, her immediate family, and the town of Smile, happy and productive. When her high school crush, Levi, comes back to town, she might just start to put herself first once in a while.

For most of this book the romance between Jilly and Levi is smooth sailing, so the third act misunderstanding was a little jarring. In fact, earlier in the book, I happily highlighted multiple passages where both characters voiced their concerns, insecurities, and feelings. It was refreshing! As was the fact that the male character who left his "big city" job to come home to the small town.
<spoiler>The ex-husband storyline turned out to be a big fat nothing burger. He's the reason for the 3rd act conflict but then he just goes away?</spoiler>

Though it is the second book in the series, Get Lost with You is easy to read as a standalone. I will happily read Love, Naturally to follow Beckett and Presley's story and hope that book #3 features Grayson and Lainey. (fingers crossed!)

Thank you to St. Martin's Press | St. Martin's Griffin and NetGalley for the advance reader copy. I am required by law to disclose this. #getlostwithyou #stmartinspress #netgalley

I just simply adore Sophie Sullivan and all of her characters. Sophie does a phenomenal job at creating such lovable characters, and Jilly is no different. I’m so glad we got to see more into her life. I would definitely recommend this to others. Thank you!

Levi and Jillian’s second-chance romance is a sweet, feel-good story for lovers of small-town, single-parent, friends-to-lovers, brothers’ friend, dual 3P POV, closed-door romances.

Their story ramped up more quickly than I expected, but, looking back on it, it makes sense for the pacing because there was actually a lot going on besides Levi and Jilly’s path to forever: the goings-on at the lodge, prep for the Founder’s Day celebration, Levi’s family dynamics, Jilly’s family dynamics… It was nice to not have several chapters of the main characters dancing around their feelings.

I also loved seeing Beckett and Presley carefree and in love! I enjoyed Love, Naturally so seeing those babies happy was a treat!

I found Get Lost with You to be both engaging and relatable. Jilly and Levi's love story is as tender as it is sincere. Jilly, a cautious single mother recovering from a painful divorce, is beautifully matched by Levi, whose patience and devotion make him a standout romantic lead. Their relationship is sweet and steady, with Levi’s care for Jilly’s daughter adding an extra layer of depth and warmth.

The chemistry between Jilly and Levi shines. Their journey is a gentle exploration of trust and second chances, with moments of humor and heartfelt sincerity. The setting in Smile adds a cozy, small-town charm, though the “bubble” of the town may feel a bit too insular for people who prefer higher stakes or more dramatic tension.

This book is a delightful escape, ideal for fans of calm, realistic romances without unnecessary angst. However, some parts felt a bit slow. Despite this, the characters—main and side alike—are vibrant and likable, making it easy to root for Jilly and Levi’s happily ever after.

If you’re looking for a grounded, feel-good story about rediscovering love and building trust, Get Lost With You is a great pick. It’s a sweet, low-drama romance that delivers sincerity, charm, and a happy ending.

A very interesting read. Thank you to the publisher for allowing me to read this book. It wasn't really for me, but I am sure that it will be loed by the right audience.

At first glance, this second chance romance seemed perfect for me. Small town in Michigan, both characters back home after separate lives, he’s her brothers best friend. But from the start there was a stated instant attraction between the two, but the chemistry didn’t seem to extend beyond the words. Everything that happened seemed predictable. For me this made it tough to get through when it should be an easy, fun read.

I felt like the FMC and MMC expressed all these grand emotions without actually ever spending much time together. I know there was a mutual teenage crush and sometimes that emotions carry over but who you are at 18 is not the same as 28. It just seemed superficial and would have loved to see something to move them along. I also disliked the breaking up because you are scared of your feelings.

Sullivan is a master of writing characters that have an endearing earnestness. Jillian and Levi have a sweet friends-to-lovers romance that is full of patience, kindness, and chemistry.

Levi moves back to Smile to help out his family and is pleased to find that Jillian is also back in town. He has always had feelings for his best friend's sister and recognizes that this is his second chance to start a relationship. Jillian thinks that her teenage crush was unrequited; as a single mom, she is focused on putting her daughter first and romance is on the back burner. Luckily for us, Levi takes no time in pursuing Jillian while still letting her set the speed at which the relationship will go.

Levi's internal dialogue was cute beyond belief. He is a golden retriever MMC of the highest order.

Jillian has a hesitancy that comes from being hurt and betrayed by her ex-husband. There is a thread of panic that she feels because she is waiting for the other shoe to drop. I appreciated that she tries to steer through the feelings (albeit not always successfully).

I find Sophie Sullivan's writing easy to devour. I look forward to the third book of this series.

I’ve come to realize that I really hate romance books written in third person. While it had dual POV it just wasn’t doing it for me. Jilly and Levi didn’t seem to have any chemistry growth in this book. They were interested in each other as teens then he left for 15 years and came back and they both stuff have a huge crush on each other but they don’t even know each other anymore or make any effort to do so. Jilly had come home after her marriage fell apart and even tho she’s been stable for a few years and is wanting career growth she still lives with her parents and throws a fit when they want to sell their big house to downsize and travel. They literally wanted to buy a house in the same town just in the otherwise but that wasn’t ok with her. So now after her and Levi get together he offers to buy the house and her parents can live in the basement apartment while they get the rest of the apartment…. Like you’re telling me you waited 15 years to be together and you want your parents in the basement hearing who knows what?! Pass lol The plot seemed good but overall I’m not a fan of how it was done.
