A sweet, feel-good romance that’s as cozy as a weekend getaway! With classic tropes like opposites attract, forced proximity, and a small-town setting, Sophie Sullivan delivers a heartwarming story full of charm and chemistry.
The characters are endearing, and their journey from hesitant strangers to something more feels genuine and satisfying. While the pacing slowed at times, the emotional connection and tender moments kept me hooked.
If you love small-town romances with relatable characters and just the right amount of swoon, Get Lost with You is the perfect escape.

I love a good second-chance/brother's best friend romance and Sophie Sullivan delivers a delightful one. Get Lost with You is a cute, funny, swoony story you will fall in love with. I love the characters, the setting, and the entire storyline. While this story is the second in the Rock Bottom Love series, it can be read as a complete standalone. I did not read book #1 and had no issues jumping right into this story. But you can bet I will be going back to read it!
I really enjoyed Levi and Jillian's story. Levi is Jilly's brother's best friend. He returns to his hometown after being gone for ten years to start his life anew. Levi and Jilly both had mad crushes on one another when they were growing up, unbeknownst to one another. When Levi comes home, sparks immediately start flying. I really enjoyed the connection and chemistry that Levi and Jilly have. You could feel their feelings leaping off of the page. Jilly is more cautious about dating because of her 9 year old daughter, Ollie. Will Jilly be move forward and risk her heart? Things aren't completely smooth sailing but these two do find their happily ever after in a beautiful way.
Sophie Sullivan is quickly becoming an author that really I enjoy reading. Her writing is always on point and her stories are engaging and relatable. I'm looking forward to what's next from this new author. I have certainly become a fan! 4 stars

As Jillian build a new life with her family, her teenage crush Levi returns to town and sparks all the same feelings she remembers. Levi's ready to settle back home and hopes Jillian will will be a part of the life he wants in Smile. Surrounded by a cast of characters, will these two reconnect in a meaningful way.
Although this was certainly a cute rom-com, I did feel like it was missing that mid-plot conflict so common of the genre. Very low stakes here for the reader.

Big, sappy, lovey-dovey feelings here, and it’s awesome. Sullivan writes in such an engaging way, that even her longer books feel like quick reads. In addition to the we-crushed-on-each-other-as-kids second chance kind of love, this book really focuses on familial love. Jillian and Levi would be nothing without the huge love and support from their family and friends, and it’s really beautiful. Thanks to SMP for the ARC.

Get Lost with You is a sweet, standard version of a second chance (ish) romance. I felt a bit distracted while reading this one, but I enjoyed Jillian and Levi and seeing their story unfold.

This is a sweet book about a second chance romance between a single mom and a chef.
This was my first book by this author and I really fell for her writing and the characters. This is the second in a series but I did not read the first, I didn’t feel lost or like I wasn’t able to understand.
I enjoyed the characters and seeing them fall in love again. I plan on reading the first book!

Get Lost with You is a sweet small-town romance that really hit the spot. I loved how the drama didn't come from the couple themselves, letting their relationship develop naturally. Jillian and Levi had childhood crushes on each other, and now they get the chance to explore those feelings. Jillian is cautious because of a bad past relationship, and her journey is all about healing. Levi is back in town, trying to fix things with his dad. It’s great to see them go through their journeys together, opening up and spending time with each other. If you enjoy gentle romances that make you feel good, this one's for you. Highly recommended!
Thank you, NetGalley and St. Martin's Griffin for the advanced reader copy. This is my honest review.

Solid Small Town Romance With A Touch Of Spice. For those looking for Carolina Reaper level spice... this ain't that. Yet it also isn't a warm glass of milk. I'd say it hits around a habanero or so - spicy enough to zing the taste buds a bit, but also mild enough to excite those who generally prefer a warm glass of milk without giving them "the vapors". ;)
On the actual romance side, well, there's as much family drama going on here as romance, so your mileage will absolutely vary on that side. There's a lot of drama to work through, though both halves of our couple wanted each other all those years ago... and that never really went away, despite our female lead marrying and having a kid with another dude in the meantime (one source of so much family drama).
Fans of small town insta love/ second chance Hallmarkie type romances will generally enjoy this one. Those looking for more spice or more glitz or more glamour or more action or some such... likely not as much.
Overall I thought this worked quite well for what it is, and I was quite happy with it as such.
Very much recommended.

This book!! This was the most dreamy spin on a second-chance romance. Jilly and Levi were a case of right person/wrong time, but they finally found each other again, and I ate. it. up. Sophie avoided SO MANY of the stereotypical complications of typical romance books with such ease but still gave the characters personality and depth. The conflicts were mild and the resolutions were tame, but I thoroughly enjoyed this romance!!

This was a sweet second chance romance set amidst siblings working to get the new family business up and running. Jillian and Levi were a sweet couple and their relationship felt fairly grounded in reality and I appreciated how she reacted when her daughter was involved.
This is the second book in a series but can be enjoyed without having read the first. The secondary characters are fun additions and have their own special moments.
The plot isn’t deep or profound but this was a charming, quick, cozy read.
Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for the advance copy.

Sophie Sullivan’s My Best Friend’s Honeymoon (erroneous title here—likely placeholder? Please confirm title) is a heartwarming second-chance romance brimming with charm, small-town coziness, and just the right amount of romantic tension. Jillian Keller and Levi Bright’s story is a sweet journey of rediscovery, healing, and finding love where you least expect it—right in the heart of home.
Jillian is a relatable and endearing heroine—a fiercely independent single mom with a love for structure and stability. Her life in Smile, running Get Lost Lodge with her brother, feels content but perhaps a bit safe. Enter Levi Bright, a talented chef whose return to their hometown brings a fresh sense of possibility. Levi’s quest for something more meaningful than city life resonates deeply, and his gentle persistence and warmth make him the perfect counterpart to Jillian’s cautious heart.
Sullivan beautifully explores the tension of past feelings reigniting as Jillian and Levi navigate old friendships, familial ties, and unspoken dreams. The small-town setting of Smile is as much a character as the leads, offering a vivid backdrop of community, comfort, and second chances.
What makes this romance shine is its tender balance of sweetness and subtle heat. Sullivan delivers on the emotional stakes, making readers root for Jillian and Levi as they learn to let go of old fears and embrace a future they never thought possible.
Fans of small-town romance and the “brother’s best friend” trope will adore this heartfelt, cozy read. My Best Friend’s Honeymoon is a love letter to second chances and the beautiful, sometimes unexpected ways we find our way home—both to the places and people who matter most.

3.5 rounded up
I am so thankful to have received this eARC! I went back to the first in the series as I hadn’t read that yet and then read this shortly after. It was fun to revisit the original MC’s and see this second chance romance blossom in a sweet way. Levi pretty much is back in love with Jilly from the get go and she just needs a little convincing that she doesn’t have to only rely on herself after her divorce so there is little conflict or angst. But they a clearly a great match and this is a good story for those who like small town romances, it’s also heavy on family time as Jilly has a daughter and there were some cute kid scenes.

In Get Lost With You, Sophie Sullivan tells the story of a single mom trying to raise her daughter and make peace with the past. When Jilly's childhood crush, Levi, moves back to town, everything changes. The story itself had a lot of potential. I am a sucker for second chance romances and childhood crushes that come full circle. However, a lot of the story fell flat for me. The dialogue felt sloppy at times, corny at others. I found myself rolling my eyes several times where the writing felt almost childish. I wanted to like the book so much more than I actually did.

If you’re looking for a feel good, second chance romance, Sophie Sullivan is the perfect author to deliver that feel every time. I can say with complete confidence that I every time I read one of her books I’m always left wishing I could go back and read it again for the first time.
Get Lost With You is the second book in the Rock Bottom Love series but it acts as a stand alone if you haven’t, or aren’t interested, in reading the first. You’ll miss out on a few crossovers but it’s nothing too bad and nothing that isn’t easily explained during the story. The relationship between the characters feels natural and more realistic then some books I’ve read which was something that really made me fall in love with the story more.
This book stars Jill, single mom who also helps her brother run a lodge, and Levi, a professional chef looking for a change of pace in his life. Aside from the adorable childhood to lovers trope the two find themselves in, it’s also a closed door romance. Some people might find that as a dealbreaker but I don’t mind. In fact if you’re able to write a romance without heavily relying on smut then I think that really says something about your writing ability and storytelling, but who doesn’t like a little bit anyway?
Definitely recommend if you’re looking for something easy going that won’t leave you with any regrets.

This was such a fun and wonderful feel good second chance romance. With a single mom and the one who got away I enjoyed that Levi was all in from the very beginning. While the lack angst and tension in it, it did give me so much I did appreciate the small moments between these two and her daughter. These two have a wonderful dynamic and while I haven’t read this author previously I do see myself picking up another book by her shortly after finishing this one. It was well written, engaging and perfect for someone who wants a low stakes feel good romance. I think all over the characters were likeable I was just wanting more from the plot and more of a build up between the two characters.

I love all of Sophie Sullivan’s books, and this one did not disappoint. Second in the Rock Bottom Love series, it was so fun to return to Smile and reconnect with the Keller family and all their friends. Levi is returning home to Smile, and Jilly is raising her daughter and helping run the family lodge. Theirs is a second chance love, endearing and sweet. Fun times abound, but they both have some serious, grown-up issues to overcome. With small town vibes, single parent, brother’s best friend, and cracked door love scenes, Sophie’s latest contemporary romance is a warm hug that’s wraps you up and pulls you in. All the stars!
Thanks to NetGalley and the publisher for the eARC to read and review. All opinions are my own.

This book was very cute. I enjoyed the romance and I am always a sucker for second chance relationships. Quick easy read, not a super big plot… But sometimes it’s nice to have an easy book to just enjoy.

Jilly is a single mother who has been living back in her home town and raising her child while doing a variety of odd jobs. Levi is moving back home, originally to take care of his father and later to be home. They end up rekindling sparks.
It was very sweet and honestly the people who have been saying it feels like a warm hug are right. That's exactly what it feels like. It just feels soft and nice. I did find myself siding with Jilly so often and wishing more people did, although honestly when people didn't if wasn't really the end of the world. I could see where they were coming from too.
I do want to say while this is marked as a second chance romance, that doesn't feel correct. Instead its a friends to lovers where they liked each other as teens and maybe attempted to kiss. But nothing progressed.
Tropes
Friends to lovers

Thanks to Netgalley for the ARC!

Get Lost with You was a great second chance romance and a fantastic return to the Get Lost Lodge and the charming small town of Smile. I was very glad that I actually took the time to read the first novel in this series before diving into book 2 - all of the adorable and quirky charm of the small town and all of its residents came through even more in book two! This novel centers on single mom Jilly and her high-school crush Levi who is returning to Smile after many years away. Considering their final interaction in high school was a failed kiss attempt resulting in multiple stitches for Levi - it wasn't surprising that there was a lot of humor in this book and especially in these characters interacting. Both characters go through a lot of growth in the novel - dealing with their own issues with relationships, family, career, future uncertainties, etc. And Ollie may be one of the best child characters - she is the perfect amount of sassy and adorable! Get Lost with You was the perfect cozy romance for the winter months - an excellent read! Thank you to St. Martin's Press/St. Martin's Griffin and NetGalley for the opportunity to read this novel in advance.

My Thoughts
The town named Smile does just that when one lives there, it makes you smile.
For Jillian Kelly finding reasons to smile begins and end with her nine-year-old daughter Ollie who is the light of her life.
Having come out mentally scarred by her marriage to her daughter’s father Jilly has not formed a relationship beyond friendship with a man since their divorce.
Levi Bright left Smile to fulfill his dream of achieving culinary success, which he did.
Now back home Levi plans to re-invent his life and Jillian herself is at the heart of what he wants that life to include.
Now he has to win Jilly over to wanting that life too.
I have always been a sucker for a second chance romance and Jillian getting hers with high school crush Levi was the perfect blend of what one plans compared to what we actually get in life.
