I love all of Sophie Sullivan’s books, and this one did not disappoint. Second in the Rock Bottom Love series, it was so fun to return to Smile and reconnect with the Keller family and all their friends. Levi is returning home to Smile, and Jilly is raising her daughter and helping run the family lodge. Theirs is a second chance love, endearing and sweet. Fun times abound, but they both have some serious, grown-up issues to overcome. With small town vibes, single parent, brother’s best friend, and cracked door love scenes, Sophie’s latest contemporary romance is a warm hug that’s wraps you up and pulls you in. All the stars!
Thanks to NetGalley and the publisher for the eARC to read and review. All opinions are my own.

This book was very cute. I enjoyed the romance and I am always a sucker for second chance relationships. Quick easy read, not a super big plot… But sometimes it’s nice to have an easy book to just enjoy.

Jilly is a single mother who has been living back in her home town and raising her child while doing a variety of odd jobs. Levi is moving back home, originally to take care of his father and later to be home. They end up rekindling sparks.
It was very sweet and honestly the people who have been saying it feels like a warm hug are right. That's exactly what it feels like. It just feels soft and nice. I did find myself siding with Jilly so often and wishing more people did, although honestly when people didn't if wasn't really the end of the world. I could see where they were coming from too.
I do want to say while this is marked as a second chance romance, that doesn't feel correct. Instead its a friends to lovers where they liked each other as teens and maybe attempted to kiss. But nothing progressed.

Get Lost with You was a great second chance romance and a fantastic return to the Get Lost Lodge and the charming small town of Smile. I was very glad that I actually took the time to read the first novel in this series before diving into book 2 - all of the adorable and quirky charm of the small town and all of its residents came through even more in book two! This novel centers on single mom Jilly and her high-school crush Levi who is returning to Smile after many years away. Considering their final interaction in high school was a failed kiss attempt resulting in multiple stitches for Levi - it wasn't surprising that there was a lot of humor in this book and especially in these characters interacting. Both characters go through a lot of growth in the novel - dealing with their own issues with relationships, family, career, future uncertainties, etc. And Ollie may be one of the best child characters - she is the perfect amount of sassy and adorable! Get Lost with You was the perfect cozy romance for the winter months - an excellent read! Thank you to St. Martin's Press/St. Martin's Griffin and NetGalley for the opportunity to read this novel in advance.

My Thoughts
The town named Smile does just that when one lives there, it makes you smile.
For Jillian Kelly finding reasons to smile begins and end with her nine-year-old daughter Ollie who is the light of her life.
Having come out mentally scarred by her marriage to her daughter’s father Jilly has not formed a relationship beyond friendship with a man since their divorce.
Levi Bright left Smile to fulfill his dream of achieving culinary success, which he did.
Now back home Levi plans to re-invent his life and Jillian herself is at the heart of what he wants that life to include.
Now he has to win Jilly over to wanting that life too.
I have always been a sucker for a second chance romance and Jillian getting hers with high school crush Levi was the perfect blend of what one plans compared to what we actually get in life.

The beginning of this book was very slow. I had a hard time getting into it because for the first half of the book almost nothing happened. Jilly and Levi reconnect, realize they still have feelings for each other, and then they’re basically in love with zero conflict or tension. And that’s really all that happens in the first half. Not every romance needs to be slow burn and I honestly don’t mind instalove, I just wish there had been a little more buildup to the relationship, something to make me invested in it.
The second half of the book picks up a lot. You get a lot more tension with Levi’s relationship with his dad, Jilly’s ex husband trying to reconnect, and running the lodge. I liked how these played out, even if some of the problems were solved almost too easily.
The best part of this book was definitely Levi. He was so sweet and his relationship with Jilly’s daughter was adorable. I loved how supportive he was and how he just wanted to make Jilly happy.
If you’re looking for something light and fun to read with a second chance romance, brothers best friend, or a single mom, give this book a try!
Thank you to NetGalley and St Martin’s Griffin for the arc!

Thank you to Netgalley, the publisher and author. I received a complimentary copy of this book. Opinions expressed in this review are completely my own.
This book was wrong book, wrong time for me. I wasn't able to enjoy it or connect with characters.

This heartwarming book is cozy and relatable. Jillian's story of rebuilding her life with her daughter while managing Get Lost Lodge and Levi's journey to find purpose beyond the big city is the perfect balance of depth and charm.
The chemistry between Jilly and Levis is electric, making their slow-burn romance feel very natural. Their shared moments working together are filled with humor, sweetness, and just the right amount of tension. The small town backdrop also made it feel extremely homey.
What sets this book apart is its emotional depth. Jilly's cautious heart and Levi's determination to reconnect with his roots make their growth inspiring and realistic. I loved the themes of family, forgiveness, and second chances.
This story will have you believing in these heartfelt characters and rooting for love! Jilly's daughter Ollie stole the show with her sweetness.

Love the high school crush second chances romances! Thank you for this fun romance that layered family ties and friendship in! Loved it!!

Love everything about this book! Second chance, brother’s best friend, set in an incredibly atmospheric lodge. Literally the coziest, most comforting romance. Great book to read while curled up under a blanket, dreaming of summer.

Thank you to NetGalley and St. Martin’s Griffin for the ARC in exchange for an honest review!
There are two big things that romance readers tend to look for when reading a new romance: spice and a compelling love story. Ideally a book will have both, but you can have one or the other and still have an enjoyable romance book. Unfortunately this book had neither.
The fade to black love scenes felt anticlimactic after reading several chapters of make out sessions that gave the impression of future spicy scenes but never delivered, and the love story between the two main characters had very little conflict. They both liked each other from the start and were all-in on the relationship with almost no strife or obstacles in their way that weren’t resolved as quickly as they started.
This book is not bad and could serve as a fun read for someone looking for something light and not too spicy, but for the most part I wouldn’t recommend this one to the average romance reader.

**2.5 STARS**
I thought this book cover was cute and I think the romance matches the cover. It’s cute.
Jilly is a single mother, and has returned home to the small town of Smile, to raise her daughter and be around family. She’s always had a crush on LeVi Bright and he’s back in Smile too. Right from the moment they run into each other – the sparks fly, immediately. All the feelings they’ve had for one another from the past start to just overtake both of them.
The story is very predictable. Jilly and Levi have some challenges to deal with like Jilly and past with her ex-husband which makes her hesitant to date again. And Levi has a strained relationship with his father but all of those issues resolves itself in the end.
I found this story okay – didn’t love the 3rd person POV, but it’s a light, easy and fluffy read.
Final Thoughts:
For me personally, this one fell a little flat. I didn’t really connect to the characters. I thought the romance was cute, without much conflict. If you want an easy, closed door, small town romance story to read, definitely give this one a chance.

I am enjoying Sophie Sullivan's work lately! Get Lost with You is for romance readers that love second chance romance. I loved getting another look inside the Get Lost Lodge world. Characters and plot are fleshed out wonderfully, there is growth in all of the characters and was a lovely heartwarming read.

Smile is the small town that’s all good on paper but I’d definitely not visit in real life (I’m a city gal and doses of the small towns seem far more appealing in books than in reality). Levi and Jillian reconnect after a long gap in time and come back together in this second chance romance. This is a mediocre read for me. I didn’t really feel engaged at times and my brain felt like I was skimming the book rather than fully engaging. There wasn’t really anything that stood out to make this book memorable to me, but it’s a nice romance book you can finish in a day.
Thank you St. Martin’s Press, St. Martin's Griffin, and NetGalley for the ARC!

I really struggled with this one! The characters did not come off as aged appropriately with their actions. I felt that this novel was more YA than 30 something year olds.
I really wanted to enjoy this small town romance however the banter between the families kept me uninterested. I was not a fan of this one as I have been of previous novels and often found myself skimming over reading as I was not engaged.
Thank you to NetGalley, the publisher and the author for this ARC opportunity!

Unfortunately not my favorite of Sullivans. It was very all over the place, resulting in the story being hard to follow. The constant switch between characters was confusing and the plot wasn’t my favorite.

Such a fun and heartwarming read!
Single mom Jillian has priorities: raise her adorable 9-year-old daughter and protect her heart at all costs. After a nasty divorce from her slimeball ex, she’s not looking for love again. She has her family and a job she loves in her hometown. But when her teenage crush and the one man she’s never been able to forget moves back to town, all bets are off…
Levi enjoyed his bigger city success in the culinary world, but could never recapture the magic of his hometown. He hopes Jillian, the teenager and now woman he’s always wanted, will still be there. And then they’re working at her family’s lodge together…
I loved the warmth that instantly existed between them—not an instalove, but a nostalgic, warm feeling that grew throughout the book between two people who really missed each other and grew up. They are both genuinely lovely, kind people who love their families and would do anything for them. So much so that Jillian is ridiculously protective of her daughter (and her own heart), and Levi jumps right into loving Ollie and doesn’t give up on a pretty awful father.
The side characters were perfection too, especially little Ollie and all the siblings and friends. If found family is your jam, you’ll love this one. There are so many sweet, funny, and heartfelt moments, a little spice (mostly closed-door/fade to black), and a fun, heartwarming book!
Thank you to NetGalley for the advance copy. All thoughts and opinions are mine.

I have loved every single one of Sophie Sullivan's books, and Get Lost With You is no exception.
This book is about Jillian, a character first introduced in Love, Naturally. When I read that book, I knew I was going to love Jillian's story. She is a single mom with a jerk for an ex-husband, and I desperately wanted her to get her happily ever after!
Jilly works so hard for her brother at the lodge he owns, and when she finds out her teenage crush Levi is back in their small town, she finds all the walls she built around herself starting to crumble. He is as amazing now as he was back then, and his feelings for Jillian are obvious. But it's hard for her to open up and let someone in after being so burned by her ex.
Sophie always manages to write characters who are perfectly flawed and so lovable. I found myself laughing and swooning in equal measure as I read this book. And although it was a mostly light-hearted read, there were some more emotional aspects also. Levi struggles with his relationship with his dad, and Jillian has trouble navigating the possibility of letting someone new into her life. I loved how those challenges served to bring them close to each other as they learned to trust their feelings. And Ollie, Jilly's nine year old daughter is absolutely adorable. The bond she forms with Levi made me tear up. He was so sweet with her!
I also have to mention that their small town of Smile has a perfect cast of secondary characters that you will fall in love with, and Jilly's close-knit family invokes all the cozy vibes. The very end of this book even took place at Christmas, so I felt very justified taking my picture in front of my Christmas tree! You definitely don't want to miss this one!
Thank you Netgalley and St Martins Press for the e-arc of this book in exchange for my honest opinions!

If you’re seeking a read that won’t cause you much angst or stress, you’ve found it.
There was more tension between the characters and their families than with the love interests themselves. It felt very small town bubble-y which sometimes can be good, but overly so in this case for me. There wasn’t enough excitement in the plot to keep me hooked.
A better read for someone looking for a calm story.
Thank you to the publisher for the gifted ARC

Levi is a chef who left home to follow his dreams. He and Jilly knew each other as kids and always harbored secret feelings for each other. When he returns he realizes time had no bearing on those feelings.
Jilly is a single mom making a life for her and her daughter. She prefers to have control over things in her life after being blindsided. When she sees Levi is back, her mind goes right back to her teenage self crushing over her brother’s friend.
As they spend time together, Jilly and Levi realize fighting those feelings is pointless. Levi has to break through Jilly’s resistance and show her he’s back for good. They both have other personal struggles as they navigate their new relationship.
I loved the growth in Jilly and determination in Levi. They both worked for the things they wanted and needed in life, separately and together. You can sense the tension between them as they try and resist their feelings. Both come from supportive families and friends who make great side characters. I loved everything about this story and can’t wait to read more from this author!
