Another lovely , not-to-be-missed , book from Sophie Sullivan! Sullivan never disappoints. Her stories are always delightful and heartwarming. Her characters are always lovely people that I wish could be my real life friends.

Themes: Small town, Dual POV, Second Chance, Friends to Lovers, Cinnamon Roll MMC

This is the second book in the Get Lost Series which follows the Keller siblings. This is a stand alone book but I think it's best to read in order so that you understand and know the characters and the setting.

Jillian(Jilly) is a single mom who went through a bad marriage and divorce. A few years earlier she moved back to Smile, her hometown , with her young daughter. She has no time or desire for romance and is busy raising her daughter and working at the family lodge/resort that she co-owns. But then Levi , her childhood crush, decides to move back to Smile. Levi and Jilly have always loved each other but miles apart, families, and careers means they haven't seen each other in years. What happens when they reunite and discover the flames sill burn for each other? Can Jilly open up her heart again to love or will she keeps the walls up and let the love of her life not back into her world?

I absolutely loved this book. I identify a lot with Jilly and understand why the walls go up and how hard it is to knock them down. I relate to Jilly wanting to protect her heart and also wondering whether l0ve is worth the risk . Levi is one of the best book boyfriends you will ever find. He has a big heart and will do anything for Jilly and her child. This story is all about the power of love. It will warm your heart and make you believe in all that love can offer. I can't wait for the 3rd book in this series.

The below quote from the book nicely sums up the story:
“It isn’t always perfect and it’s definitely not always easy, but when you’re with the right person, that doesn’t matter as much, because no matter what happens, you know you can lean on them. Trust them.”

Thank you to the author and NetGalley for the ARC. Opinions are my own

[3.25 Stars🙂] Get Lost With You was my first Sophie Sullivan book, and I thought it was a decent read. The tension between Levi and Jillian was nice but ultimately the book fell flat for me when the third act conflict happened. Their second-chance romance was sweet, but Jillian's freak-out over Levi changing his mind (about a food truck?!) left a bitter aftertaste that was difficult to swallow.

+Thanks Sophie Sullivan, St. Martin's Press, and Netgalley for the ARC of Get Lost With You! All thoughts in this review are my own.

Get Lost with You is a heartwarming second-chance, small-town romance that follows Jilly, a divorced mom who has recently moved back to her hometown, Smile, to be closer to her family. Meanwhile, Levi Bright, who once left to pursue his culinary dreams, is now returning home. As old feelings resurface, the question lingers—will they find their way back to each other?

This story felt like a warm hug, filled with loving friends, family, and a sweet romance that tugs at the heart. Jilly’s journey of healing and finding her voice after her previous marriage was inspiring to watch. Levi’s complex relationship with his father added depth to the story, and I appreciated seeing their bond evolve as they finally confronted their emotions.

I gave this book 3 stars because I found the POV a bit difficult to follow, and I wished for more depth in the character arcs. For instance, what happened with Andrew? Based on how his character was built, it felt unrealistic that he never resurfaced. Additionally, I think the romance could have been drawn out more for a slow-burn effect. That said, Get Lost with You was still a sweet and quick small-town romance.

Thank you to St. Martin’s Press for the opportunity to read this ARC!

Small Town

Jillian Keller took the long route to her best life, but is now happily settled in her hometown of Smile, raising her little girl alone while helping her brother run Get Lost Lodge. A lover of structure and routine, she doesn’t need anyone disrupting her carefully curated life.

After chasing and achieving his culinary dreams, Levi Bright realizes he’s still missing something he can’t find in a big city. When Levi and Jilly run into each other, past feelings that never had a chance to bloom flare between them… but she’s been hurt before, and falling for her older brother’s best friend seems like a recipe for drama. But sometimes, a second chance at love leads you right where you’re meant to be.

🔎 My review
I was so excited to see that Jilly was getting her own book! She was definitely one of the characters that I fell in love with in Love, Naturally and wanted to see her get her happy ending. Levi is a sweetheart that I fell in love with, I am so happy that he didn't give up on Jilly ❤️. Can't wait to see who else will get their own book ❤️

This was a super cute second chance romance with a single mom and a chef in a small midwest town. This was a low stakes and sweet little read with a well developed group of characters. If that sounds like you vibe, add this to your TBR!

Thanks to St. Martin's Griffin and NetGalley for providing an eARC in exchange for an honest review.

Steamy, male female, 3rd person dual point of view, contemporary romance. This is the second standalone book in the Rock Bottom series. This is a small town, cozy, "second" chance (they weren't a couple but had feelings) perfect length read.

Get Lost with You is a cute romance about going home and second chances. Jillian is back in her hometown and she finally happy. She’s helping her brother run the lodge while taking care of her little girl. Her life is simple, and planned, which is just how Jillian likes it.
Levi comes crashing back to town after becoming a chef in the big city. He’s achieved all he wanted but there’s still something missing. He wants to come home and reconnect with family and friends

After chasing and achieving his culinary dreams, Levi Bright realizes he’s still missing something he can’t find in a big city. Jillian and Levi realize that they always had feelings for each other but it was never the right time. Now she’s been hurt before and he’s friends with her brother. Is it time for them to try again?
I really enjoyed this story. It was cute and had a lot of heart.

If you’re in the mood for a cozy, feel-good romance set in a charming small town, Get Lost With You is the perfect escape. Jilly and Levi’s romance was sweet, heartfelt, and full of all the small-town charm you could ask for.

The story follows Jilly, who returns to her hometown of Smile with her young daughter, Ollie, after a painful divorce. She plans to rebuild her life by helping her brother run the Get Lost Lodge, but she doesn’t expect to reconnect with Levi, her childhood friend who’s now the lodge’s chef. Levi is all in from the start, completely smitten with Jilly and more than willing to step up for her and Ollie. Watching him navigate his feelings while trying to mend his own family relationships was touching, and his patience and dedication made him the perfect romantic lead.

I loved how their relationship developed naturally, with just the right amount of slow-burn tension. Levi’s interactions with Ollie melted my heart, and Jilly’s cautiousness was completely understandable given her past. The small-town setting added a cozy atmosphere, and the side characters brought humor and warmth to the story.

This book is low on angst and high on heart, making it the perfect comfort read. It was refreshing to see the hero fall first and be so open about his feelings. If you’re looking for a charming, easy read with lovable characters and a sweet, emotional journey, Get Lost With You is definitely worth picking up!

Huge thanks to NetGalley and St. Martin’s Press for the ARC in exchange for my honest thoughts! 💕

I’m DNF-in this book. The sentence structures are so odd and read as if it’s a rough draft that needs editing and not a finished book. There are too many places where the author used commas instead of the word “and” or instead of just making them completely different sentences, and it really messed with the way it reads. I had to go back and read so many passages over again just to figure out what was going on. Here is one example early on:

His mom went back to the table, murmured something quietly to him, saw his dad shake his head. Levi’s jaw clenched, knowing his dad was too stubborn to ask for help. He pulled the cookies he’d made out of the fridge, set about warming a few up. “What are your more long-term plans, honey?” Levi grabbed a plate, set one of the cookies down in front of his dad.

It just isn’t clicking with me so I’m choosing to move on. Thank you to NetGalley for the advance copy.

3.5 ⭐️

This was a super cute romance. Levi was definitely a golden retriever MMC! I loved all the characters in this one, including Ollie (I usually don’t favor children in romances) so this was a pleasant surprise.

There were a few moments where Jilly annoyed me a bit and it got boring and predictable at times. I struggled with Jilly’s Ex. I was disappointed the story built up a lot of intense suspense around him, which I really enjoyed, only to be anti-climactic in the end. It threw the pacing off and I was wanting so much more out of it. I felt let down in the end, but still liked other portions of the story. It felt a bit bland so was just okay for me.

This was such a sweet story! I loved Jilly and Levi ! I loved how Levi was all in from the very beginning and how great he was with Ollie! You could definitely feel the small town vibes! Cannot wait to read more from Sophie!

If Sophie Sullivan writes it, I’ll read it. Levi became one of my favorite book boyfriends from the very beginning. Our two main characters are super likeable and the tension between them was amazing. I really enjoyed the slow burn because it made the declaring of forever love more genuine. Honestly, I wish i could move to a town like Smile!

While Get Lost with You is part of a series, you don't need to read the first book to understand the story. This book focuses on Levi and Jillian's story, whereas the previous book focuses on Beckett and Presley. Beckett is one of Jillian's older brothers and, as such, plays an essential part in her story along with the rest of her family.

Get Lost with You, set in the familiar and cozy small town of Smile, is a heartwarming second-chance romance. The town, nestled on an island off the coast of Mackinaw City, Michigan, provides the perfect backdrop for Jillian and Levi's story. Jillian, who harbored a teenage crush on Levi, attempted a meet-cute the night before he left town for school. Little did she know, Levi also had feelings for her but considered her off-limits as the little sister of his two best friends. As they both returned home as adults, they found it increasingly difficult to deny their feelings.

At times, I found the plot's predictability in Get Lost with You to be a bit of a letdown. While I understand that romances often follow a formula and are expected to have happy endings, the lack of tension in the story left me wanting more. However, this predictability may be a welcome aspect for readers who appreciate a familiar and comforting narrative.

Overall, Get Lost with You is an enjoyable read. While it didn't wow me, I enjoyed reading it and suggest others try it.

Get Lost With You was fine. I enjoyed it, but unfortunately was reading two other books with similar tropes at the same time that just landed a little better. However, if you also love a small isolated town romance, this is worth a read!

Get Lost with You by Sophie Sullivan is the second book in the Rock Bottom Love Series. This is Jillian and Levi‘s story.

After I absolutely loved the first book, I was so excited to be back at the Get Lost Lodge. Jillian is running the lodge with her brother and she’s a single mom to her daughter Ollie as well. She has a lot on her plate and likes structure and organization. It sometimes feels like her life runs on autopilot and it works somehow. Jillian is a nice and pleasant character but nothing else for me.

Everything changes when Levi returns to his hometown. He was a chef and living his dream, but he returned to help his parents. And it was quite sad seeing his almost non-existent relationship with his dad because he didn’t accept his career choice and he was bitter about it. Levi is an absolute sweetheart and cinnamon roll hero, and I really liked him.

Jillian and Levi grew up together and they were always friendly with each other. There was one moment in their teenage years where it would have been more, but nothing ever came of it, and you could say it’s a slight second chance romance. The book was very sweet, and the characters worked well together. I loved how Levi immediately saw Ollie as his own and how he wanted to bring happiness and love to Jillian every day. But there weren't really any obstacles and it seemed too perfect. The relationship also progressed way too fast and a week after Levi was back, he was all set on her and they went on a date and were just together. I would have preferred to see more of their feelings and thoughts.

If you’re looking for a sweet small-town romance, you’ll absolutely like this one. 3 stars.

(Thank you to the publisher and NetGalley for providing me with an arc.)

Thank you to Sophie Sullivan, St. Martins Press and NetGalley for an ARC of this book in exchange for an honest review.

I absolutely ADORED Levi and Jillian together! Their chemistry was perfect for the "more mature" reader as Jillian was dealing with emotions post divorce and navigating having a child to consider while exploring a new relationship.

The third act conflict was very well done and very believable which was a breath of fresh air in a romance novel.

While this book was the second in an interconnected standalone series it could 100% be read first with no issues!

4 star and highly recommend!

I feel like I should start this review off by saying I feel really dumb. I had no idea going into “Get Lost With You” that this is the second book in the Rock Bottom Love series. I kept thinking during those first few chapters wow everyone knows something that I don’t. Or wow everyone already knows each other. Then I went to mark this on Goodreads and realized welp that explains it, this book is part of an interconnected romcom series. So moral of the story don’t pull a lexie and read the first book, “Love, Naturally” first. Then come back and read “Get Lost With You”.

Now even with the minor beginning confusion, I still enjoyed the book but I didn’t love it. Honestly up until about the 80% mark I would’ve given this book a 4 stars. But then in the last 20% the author decided to give us literally one of the most cliche third act breakups. Not to mention the conflict was completely unnecessary and came out of nowhere. To make it worse, the conflict made our MFC completely unlikable. Which is a shame because up until that point I had really enjoyed her character. Plus my boy Levi did not deserve that. That man clearly deserved better.

Overall, like I mentioned this book is a fun, quick easy read that would be perfect for the beach. Even though it’s not one of my favorite romcoms I would still recommend it.

Lastly big thank you to St. Martin's Press and NetGalley for providing me an ARC to read and review.

Thank you to the publisher for the opportunity to read this ARC. Unfortunately, I was unable to get into this one due to the third person POV. In only a short amount of reading time I realized that this perspective wasn’t allowing me to feel connected to the main character at all and therefore I was unable to continue reading. I think perhaps if I had read the first book and knew more of the characters I would feel differently but I think the big issue for me was a third person POV for a romance.
