The book for my talent show submission is my review for Blue Sisters by Coco Mellors. Definitely my new favorite book. I truly think everyone needs to read this book, even if they don't even have siblings.

This is such a fun idea! I especially love a good bingo! I liked that they weren't all books, because 24 books in a month can be tough to do. Other activities made completing the bingo achievable. Having a daily scavenger hunt is a great way to keep people involved rather than going off to complete the tasks alone. Can't wait for next year!

I love the bingo board! How fun! The badge is very cute too, that is a fun incentive to check out the Camp NetGalley packet. I don't do too much social media so the hashtag and the online scavenger hunt aren't my favorite, but they are fun activities for those that do like to partake with social media. A fun idea for next year may be something along the lines of a "If you enjoyed this book, try these authors" prompt.

Love the idea of earning badges! I like the option to tailer participation to individual desires. (Bingo for me was a no because I forget to track, but the tote bags were fun!) I'd really like to see more engagement activities like this :0)

CampNetgalley is such a fun idea! I love the digital take on a traditional summer reading challenge, and the weekly activities like bingo and scavenger hunts are so much fun. I just wish there had been more advertising to drum up more knowledge and excitement about it before hand!

I've had a lot of fun participating with the NetGalley Summer Camp, but I would make these improvements:

1) I would make the journaling section easier to navigate. Unless you are using a tablet, it's really not feasible to use.
2) I would put all downloadable links in the downloadable PDF version of this welcome packet. It was difficult to figure out where the downloadable templates were.
3) I would make the event a little bit more like camp with more activities related to reading. For example, I'd create different merit badges for camp-related activities like bracelet making (make a bracelet for your favorite author/book), reading in a new area, trying a new drink at a coffee shop, etc. I think it would be a little bit more fun added to what is already being done.
