Camp Netgalley is such a fun way to celebrate the joy of reading. I look forward to using the journal and sharing reviews on new books I have read.

I love this idea. Predictably, the theme is summer camp which came out great. My favorite parts are the bingo board and the summer sticker bundle. Maybe a group readalong/optional book of the week might be fun to add. I would also be interested in having more of a reading journal setup, though it may be a bit redundant to fill out both.

What a wonderful idea for all ages to bring some extra fun to all of our summer reading! I LOVE a good book bingo and I'm excited to use my NetGalley Reading Journal to help me track my summer camp reading adventures! Thank you, NetGalley and We Are Bookish for always making fun reading adventures for book geeks big and small!

Read!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I received a copy of this eBook from netGalley for a honest review.
What a fun idea. I can't wait to hopefully get my badge.

I really like the idea of a book bingo board, and I’m planning to fill mine out based on the books I’ve reviewed so far in 2024. I’d love to see something similar to Camp Nanowrimo with more opportunity for interactions between reviewers who blog outside X/Instagram where hashtags are more widely used.

I really enjoyed my first Camp Netgalley. It had loads of activities to participate in, week after week, and I loved the exclusive stickers in particular. It was a great adventure, that pushed me to read loads more books on Netgalley. The reading journal is the best digital one I've come across and I'm really excited to begin the process of filling it out.
My entry for the talent show:
This YA novel is about Tegan Masters and her journey to self-discovery, grief, and love. After Tegan wakes up in her own, personal heaven, she has some strong opinions about her angel's choice of her perfect moment to relive forever, none of them positive. Zelda, the angel, begins a whirlwind tour through Tegan's memories to help her understand what mattered most to her and so what if they fall in love as the journey continues.
In the beginning, I found this novel to be moving quite slowly, but as it got towards the excursions the pair went on, I got more invested in the story. I quickly got more involved with the characters and it was a great journey to go on with the characters. The character development was so great to see and wraps up the story so well. As Tegan tries to figure out her complex emotions, we learn what you sometimes think makes you the happiest in life, is sometimes the thing that can make you the saddest. Tegan is a very relatable teenage character, I felt her emotions with how well the scenes and feelings were described. I really enjoyed the reading experience.

I am so excited for camp netgalley. I have been obsessed with reading bingo boards lately. This aligns perfectly with my current reading bingo board for myself. I love the stickers and checklist. Should be a fun month of reading.

Love Camp NetGalley!! It is always fun to have an adventure with our novels! Why let the kids have all the fun?

What a fun summer reading adventure!! Thank you to netgallery for setting this up!
I cannot wait to connect and have fun with summer follow camp readers

Love being able to connect with other readers, authors, and publishers! It also puts a fun spin on getting our NetGalley to do list prioritized. Thank you for putting this on!

This is such a great idea! Thanks NetGalley for putting together such fun little activities! It's great to see how much I'm already able to fill out the bingo card and all the social media templates for participation are a major plus!

A very cute idea! I'm definitely going to enjoy reading my galleys this summer. Hopefully by the beach!

This is a super cool idea. I’ll be traveling most of July, but will also be reading several books along the way and am excited about activities :)

Here is my review for "I need you to read this" by Jessa Maxwell. Thanks for the opportunity to be a part of Camp NetGalley, this was cute and fun!
Alex Marks is saddened to hear that her favorite newspaper columnist has been murdered. A fan of the column for years, Alex is intrigued to potentially replace the slain Frances Keen. The New York Herald and its dynamic publisher, Howard Dmitri, get over 500 applicants for the position, but Howard is very drawn to Alex's entry, and she lands her dream job. In the role, she needs to publish a column weekly and read all of the letters that come to the desk. This is when she starts getting some threatening letters.
Secrets abound and Alex tries to determine what happened to Frances. Who is a friend and who is a foe? Who in her new job is dangerous?
This was a fun, easy read. There are some big plot holes and some resolution that gets wrapped up a bit too easily. However, I did enjoy it. There are clues to the mystery throughout, which is always fun when the author gives you bread crumbs. I found Alex to be a little one dimensional and didn't have a ton of depth. But the newspaper staff had some characterizations that gave you a good desciption.
Not the best mystery of the summer but a decent read if you are voracious and need another beach/fluff mystery for your to-read-pile.
Thanks to NetGalley and Atria Books for the ARC. Book to be published August 13, 2024.

This is such a neat idea 👏 I love the bingo game! Thank you for giving us all this opportunity to participate. I hope for more things like this in the future.

This is so good. I highly recommend it. The challenge is really fun to do. I enjoyed all the new authors I discovered.
