This is a cute tool for summer reading! I always appreciate when NetGalley releases little presents like these for their users. Thank you!

This is a very good material! I'm excited for Camp Netgalley and everything it will bring (even though I know I'm already a bit behind)

BINGO! Enjoyed that game. Camp NetGalley is a clever idea to draw people in. Thanks for making membership even more fun than it already is.

What a fun summer event. I love the graphics in this packet and the freebies!! Thank you so much for this summer fun.

Fun concept. Activities are heavily social media driven for exposure, which I understand, but not necessarily my cup of tea. While I’m on social media, I’m not a “content creator” to post all the camp activities nor have a desire to brag about stickers earned. The bingo board is fun, not sure I am on social media enough to participate in the scavenger hunt, and the talent show is ‘meh.’ If we could submit our participation screen shots directly to NetGalley as opposed to posting on our own pages, I’d be more inclined to submit.

My review of Bless Your Heart by Lindy Ryan, 4/5 stars:
Monster fighting all female family, this book was really filled with girl power and explores a fun range of family dynamics. Each chapter is from a different character POV, which helps give character depth that otherwise might have lacked in such a busy storyline. Gotta say, Ducey was one of my favourite characters! It was a fun read, a little grotesque in places, but nothing you wouldn't see in a monster slasher film. I love vampire lore too, so a novel that explores one of the earlier mythologies - Strigoi - was very appealing to me.

Really excited for my very first Camp NetGalley! I'm not sure if I'll end up participating, but I was curious about the welcome packet haha.

I really love this idea (it's my first year participating), though I do think a few suggestions could help improve the overall experience/journey. Upon downloading the welcome packet, we're instructed to 1) submit a review of the packet, and 2) submit a link to a review. It's not clear upon reading where the link to the review should be entered until you click on "submit feedback" and see that under the textbook for feedback there's a section called "add link(s)"
I think some screenshots could be helpful to showcase this more clearly.
In addition, and I'm not certain if this is available anywhere, but a social aspect - interacting with other participants would make this all the better. Overall, I love that it's challenging us as users to engage and diversify - please keep up the wonderful work!

such a fun idea. looking forward to the activities. I downloaded the welcome packet. , looking forward to participating.

BOOK REVIEW ALERT – Review, Recommendation, Rating & Opinion are my own.
Title: Lady Killer
Author: Katherine Wood
Genre: Mystery/Thriller
This book is a gripping mystery thriller that takes readers on a suspenseful journey into the mind of a female serial killer. Set against the backdrop of a quiet, unsuspecting town, the novel explores the dark secrets lurking beneath a seemingly serene surface.
The story centers around Samantha Hunter, a charming and enigmatic woman who hides a deadly secret. By day, she is a beloved member of her community, but by night, she becomes a calculating killer. When a string of murders rocks the town, Detective Laura Mason is assigned to the case. Determined to uncover the truth, Laura must navigate a web of lies, deceit, and danger.
As Laura digs deeper, she finds herself entangled in a cat-and-mouse game with Samantha. The tension builds as Laura races against time to stop the killer before she strikes again. The novel is filled with unexpected twists and turns that keep readers on the edge of their seats until the very end.
Rating – 4.0/5 Stars
Recommendation – High
The Author’s writing is crisp and engaging, with a strong narrative voice that draws readers into the story. Her descriptive prose vividly brings the town and its inhabitants to life, creating an immersive reading experience. The pacing is well-balanced, with moments of intense action interspersed with quieter, introspective scenes that add depth to the characters.
This read is a standout mystery thriller that will appeal to fans of the genre. Katherine Wood masterfully blends suspense, psychological drama, and intricate plotting to create a compelling and unforgettable story. The novel’s well-crafted characters, gripping plot, and unexpected twists make it a must-read for anyone who loves a good thriller.

This seems like such a fun event. I have downloaded the welcome packet, and am loving setting up for the camp. I love a good bingo board, especially book related boards. This will be such a fun activity for the hot summer.

I think this idea was so fun!! So many of us miss the summer reading challenges and the summer camps of our youth. NetGalley helped bring us back to those fun experiences! I’ve included my review for the talent show submission in the attached link.
Thank you! I can’t see what comes next from NetGalley!

What a fun way to read this summer. I always loved camp. Can't wait to play bingo and complete the squares. Happy reading for the summer.

Such a fun activity to participate in this summer. I’m happy that NetGalley put this activity together.

Okay, I'll bite! I never went to sleepaway camp as a kid (my sister did, but it turned out to have a rather more religious bent than my parents anticipated, so they quietly refrained from sending any of us again), and now that I'm an adult, who has time and money for that...? But if I did go to a sleepaway camp, I'd absolutely want it to involve a great deal of reading. And archery. And swimming. And more reading! And then perhaps some marshmallows.
I love having a new NetGalley bingo board (I might even manage to tick off the 'review the oldest book on your shelf' box...stay tuned) and am curious to see what the scavenger hunt will bring. Future camps could perhaps include sports (bingo boards themed around particular genres, perhaps?) or a photography challenge (post a picture of your NetGalley read out in the wild). Or an international NetGalley camp, with different activities for the different country sites...?
Along more standard NetGalley lines, it would be a lot of fun—although, I understand, perhaps difficult to execute—if there some handpicked summer reads (set at summer camps, ideally), Read Now or with widgets available, that were part of the Camp NetGalley options; I enjoy the gimmicks of Camp NetGalley but (let's be honest) I love reading even more.
Thanks to the NetGalley team for putting this together. (My talent show submission is for one of my favorite NetGalley reads to date.)

Thank you NetGalley for this fun literary event! I look forward to trying out all the activities. The Bingo challenge looks exciting and that alone will certainly keep me busy!

I love the concept of a fun interactive way to engage on NetGalley! The handouts are coloful, vibrant, easy to read. I do feel like the instructions are a bit vague/confusing. I hope this concept continues to expand and grow with more opportunities similar to this one.

So much fun! I can not wait to join in throughout the month.
Bingo is such a fun way to play along with other reviewers

I freaking love this idea, I am all for camp NetGalley ! I cant wait to participate in the action! The bingo, being part of a community is the best!
