I love just how much this shakes things up on NetGalley! As much as everyone here is quite cozy with our routine of requesting books, receiving books, then reading and reviewing those books, I'm genuinely feeling a real fresh burst of excitement over all the activities and the extra interactive opportunities coming later in the month.

I love everything about this! I love that it encourages more interaction on the NetGalley sight and Social Media. I started using my Instragram account again and love finding new ways to share and new books to discover!

A fun, unexpected challenge for 2024. I like the bingo aspect, but sometimes this could be easy for me not to follow through with. Here's to trying my best this time around!

Such a fun little summer challenge! I’m excited about all the activities, and love that there are provided templates for social media! Thanks so much Netgalley!

It seems like there are fun challenges to participate in! In the link I've linked a recent review I'm most proud of.

What a fun idea! I like challenging myself when it comes to reading, so this will be an amazing way to do that. I'm looking forward to meeting each goal and collecting those cool looking badges. Thanks NetGalley for such a fun summer activity!
I don't know what to add as far as suggestions because all these are great.

A fun way to participate in netgalley, nice to spice things up and do something a little differently than usual. Though I am confused about the bingo board at least at the moment. How to fill it out and is it necessary or optional. So........ I dropped my review down to 4 stars for that reason

This is so cute! This is such a fun way for folks to participate in summer reading. I'm using it as a fun and creative way to keep up with my blog and bookstagram account. I haven't really kept up with either consistently.

Virtual book camp is honestly such a fun idea, I love it! All of the bingo boards and social media templates are very well-designed and fit nicely with the summer camp theme. I love that there are virtual activities for readers to participate in, but it would be super awesome to have some small giveaways for participants to win next year, if possible! Overall, super fun and cute idea, plus an awesome surprise that I wasn't expecting when I joined NetGalley.

The Camp NetGalley Welcome Packet offers a well-organized and engaging introduction to a month-long bookish summer camp in July 2024. It includes a variety of weekly activities, clear instructions for earning the exclusive Camp NetGalley badge, and opportunities for creativity and community interaction. The packet is designed to enhance the reading experience and foster a vibrant community of book lovers.

What a fun idea and I can’t wait to get started. The various activities will allow for a different experience for sure. The guide was very helpful in explaining what’s in store but mysterious enough to build the anticipation!!!

This is such a fun idea, I convinced a friend of mine to do it too! I love reading, but given games and activities along with doing one of my favorite hobbies? Sign me up.

This sounds like such a fun time! I’m a bit confused about the stickers, but the bingo sheet seems like a fun idea to get us to participate!

I really like the idea of a NetGally Bingo. I really enjoy participating in reading challenges, that's what got me into reading in the first place. I'm not sure if the bing is located anywhere other than the Welcome Packet or if it's linked anywhere, but it would be nice it was linked out our NetGalley account and automatically ticked off the Bingo squares when we accomplished one. I'm not sure what Book Advocate Toolkit is though.

I like the bingo card - encouraging reading things that might be a bit outside the usial is a good thing!
I don't see myself becoming active in an online NetGalley community (I have so many online commitments as it is!). Though I do plan to post my bingo card at the end of the month.

Thank you Netgalley for this CAMP! It looks incredibly fun and will bring to life all the fun reading I have been doing! Thanks again for this platform and a chance to connect with other readers and authors!

This is a fun idea, but I do struggle with only being able to read things like this on the Ap on my phone and not on my PC. I'm not really sure how to use the stickers I downloaded or how to download the bingo card.
I really enjoy Netgalley, but not sure this kind of event is really for me.

One thing I think that would be really neat with the Camp NetGalley project would be crafting a HUGE book club to discuss and dig through a few select up and coming books based on the genre you're interested in. For example, for the month of July, NetGalley could pick one romance, thriller, fantasy, etc. novel to be featured as part of Camp NetGalley. When you sign up for Camp NetGalley, you then select one of those books to download and read through with your team of others who have selected the same book as well. As you progress through the weeks, the activities such as message boards, open discussions, and Q&A with the author commence surrounding that one book of choice. This way, you are having a book club on an actual world wide scale, which would be pretty epic if you ask me. You could also include the option where if you finish one book early, you could start another and be engaged in both subsequent book clubs/discussions. Having all of these people read and provide reviews would also bring great publicity for the books and for the authors as we spend a month digging into their latest work. I know this would be a little more work and planning but the payoffs really could be huge here and would draw a lot of people to the discussion. I would personally love to engage in an experience like this and it would be one for the history books!

The Camp NetGalley Welcome Packet is a great idea if you have the time to do the packet.
I do wish that the packet is a little bit longer than 9 pages, in my opinion there should be some activities.
