Thanks, NetGalley for putting this together! This is very creative and fun.
Here's a review I'm proud of (also linked below) for The Villain Edit by Laurie Devore
I have read a lot of Bachelor themed romance novels. They usually take place on a sugar-coated version of the show where there may be some minor stressors over public pressure but people really do fall in love and everyone is there 4TRR (for the right reasons). Not "The Villain Edit." "The Villain Edit" shows the Bachelor franchise in all of it's dark depravity and ill-intentions. It was unsettling. I loved every minute of it.
I will caution readers - while this is a romance and correctly branded and marketed as such, this is not a feel-good, fluffy book. Much of this book focuses on how being a contestant on a reality TV show is literal psychological torture, and all of the characters often make toxic and unlikable decisions.
I loved the complexity of all of the characters and how I (along with Jac) could never really tell their true intentions or whose side they were on. Throughout the book Jac laments the paranoia she is feeling, and I was feeling it right along with her. "The Villain Edit" is a refreshingly honest depiction of what it's like to be a reality star and the true cost of the sacrifices people make for clout and exposure.
This book is messy, fun, and exciting all at the same time. There were times that my jaw literally dropped when I was reading it, even though I knew exactly what was happening and should have (or did!) see it coming. Days later, I am still thinking about everything that occurred in this book. This book is an absolute trip and a wildly amazing journey start to finish. And I promise a producer didn't withhold time to sleep to make me say that.
5 stars
Thank you NetGalley and Avon for the eARC. All opinions are my own.

Really excited for this event 😍 I'd love to get some additional information in here, it mostly just covers what you can find on Instagram and the We are Bookish blog. Can't wait to discover what you have in store for us this summer!

I’m still a bit fuzzy on what this is all about but figured I’d give it a try. I’m not by nature an “Oh, let’s collect stickers” kind of person but if it inspires others to read more, works for me. What can I say? I’d rather just be reading. Grin.

Super fun idea! I love the bingo, and the little guide and the reading journal stickers. I think maybe some prompts for the week’s events might help next year!

My review is a profile K by Helen Fields the best book this year 📚💙
I’m not into tec so this may be the only thing I do for this - sorry ! 😰

I submit my review of The Future by Naomi Alderman for the Talent Show, I like the idea of highlighting people's reviews. A lot of us spend a lot of time reading and writing reviews, in the HOPE that people see them and it helps someone find a book they love. The bingo idea is fun, I wish it were more interactive instead of just a pdf.

I am SO excited for a virtual bookish camp! I will be printing this ASAP, but think it would be a fun challenge to complete via the app in the future!

I’m really excited for this. There aren’t enough book challenges for adults! A great idea to get everyone involved.

This is such a super cute idea! I'm leaving feedback mostly because I'm not sure if this will impact my ratio or not and I'd rather play it safe. I think it actually does impact my rating. Wish it didn't, but it is what it is. I'm sure there's no way for the web devs to differentiate between a file distribution and an actual ARC so, here we are.

I loved this fun, camp-like feel to summer reading! It's a fun way to approach summer reading and helps me feel part of a larger bookish community. It can help us move out of our reading comfort zones and explore new ideas in our reading life and our actual life, too.

Very cool! I like this and it actually helps to engage more. I want to hurry up and put stickers in it and play Bingo!
The design is super cute! It would be great to have year after year.

This is my first time utilizing NetGalley as a way to comb through potential books for circulation at my library. Super excited to be able to read, share, and inform through this platform and hopefully find reads I wouldn't normally see during my day to day.

This is such a fun idea! I'm super excited to participate in all the events scheduled. Thanks for the interactive month!

Thanks NetGalley! What a fun idea! I can't wait to participate. I love how motivating it is to get me ARCs finished and reviewed.

I love the idea of this!
Looking forward to participating in the event, especially the book bingo - I like the diversity in the choices for the squares!

What a sweet & enjoyable holiday romance!
To me, Gwen was so relatable and I feel she would be for a lot of females out there. Bad relationships that make you question everything, not feeling good enough, etc.
I also personally loved that she was a baker, which made the book feel extra hygge.
Thank you NetGalley for the opportunity to read this!

I think this is such a cute and fun way to engage as an arc reader! It’s not terribly demanding a schedule to follow for the month, but regardless with my work, I don’t think I’ll be able to keep up as well as I’d like. I still love the idea behind it all though and can’t wait to fill up my little banner with ‘pins’ and badges!

Joining the online summer reading camp was the best decision for me this far! It's a fantastic program filled with engaging activities that keep me excited about reading. The badge system is a brilliant motivator, rewarding us reader for our progress and keeping us eager to explore more. Highly recommend for a summer filled with reading adventures!

This is a fun idea and I am looking forward to participating. I hope to earn the Camp NetGalley badge and I can't wait to download the Reading Journal and stickders. I will have to choose one of my favorite books to submit for the contest.

Love that NetGalley has given us ARC Readers a way to interact with one another, not to mention have a Bookish Camp experience, without the bugs!
