I love this idea! I wish I had more time in July to take advantage of it and I hope NetGalley will do this again next year. I would have liked more clear instructions or having a separate program on here to keep better track of the activities offered.

What a fun summer activity! I didn't participate as much as I wanted but am so excited for these types of events in the future.
This also makes me want to try my hand at digital book journaling.
During camp month I read 2 ARCs, Look in the Mirror by Catherine Steadman and The Lost Story by Meg Shaffer. Both were excellent. The Lost Story may be one of my favorite books of the year.

My Review for "This Spells Love"
This book honestly had so much potential, and I’m not saying it didn’t meet it, but it could be so much more. In a more generous opinion, this was a witty, cute, and fun love story that is the epiphany of the best friends-to-love trope. You really can’t help but love Dax and Gemma. Their friendship is so precious you just want them to make it work, and it was actually really enjoyable to watch all the pieces come together as Gemma tries to befriend Dax again (and how they can finally give a relationship a chance bc they’re clearly attracted to each other). That said, I felt like there were so many plotholes in this story. The magic aside, it really made little to no sense to me how Dax didn’t think Gemma was crazy after ‘breaking into his store’ – like her break up story doesn’t answer how she knew everything about him. And there were just so many things that didn’t add up to me… BUT
I was able to look past that, and if you can too, then you can definitely enjoy this read!! The relationship that Gemma has with her aunt and sister is great, and honestly, all the secondary characters of this book are likable. Def worth checking out!
▫️what I liked:
-Gemma’s aunt and sister
-Dax’s cousins
-best friend to lover trope like I just love love
▫️what I didn’t like:
-plot holes

I did not request this title and it disappeared before I could give feedback. Please adjust my feedback % accordingly if anyone is out there.

I understand what this 'packet' was supposed to do but it lacked the structure and the actual provisions that were offered weren't as useful as the creators had hoped.

Love these toolkits that netgalley puts out. They are a lot of fun! Love that they've added more to do and fill out

This is such a fun resource! I wish I’d had more time to participate. Thanks for putting this together, NetGalley!

This was a great idea that I hope to do another year. I enjoyed the concept but was a little confused on what to do with it.

Confusing and I didn’t like this. What was the point of this the email was not informational and it was hard to follow and then never heard again from it till it was the end

This was a really fun experience to take part in! The social presence of Camp NetGalley allowed me to find a lot of other wonderful book reviewers.

This was such a fun project. I so enjoyed seeing everyone's projects on Instagram as they completed task. It was a joy to watch and read and get involved with all the campers. Fun,fun fun!!!!! I enjoy watching the progress as it was shown and cheering everyone along!!!! Way to go!!!!!

Wasn’t able to engage as much as I hoped I could’ve this summer but I’m hoping to be able to next summer! It’s a really cool option as this is my first year/summer using Netgalley and hope this continues for the other summers!

I was unable to fully take advantage of the program, but I appreciated the concept! Looking forward to trying it out again next year..

Not engaging enough for me with a paced summer schedule but happy to be involved and have it as an option!

This was an awesome summer reading program. I appreciated the fun activities and prompts. I would definitely love to participate in a summer book camp again.

Not really sure how to feel about this. I was hoping there would be more reading challenges, which I enjoy doing. I'll try again next year and see if I like it better.

I’ll admit I was kind of confused by this whole thing. It was made to seem like a bunch of big events but was more just a packet to review and then leave feedback for?

This was a really neat concept that I unfortunately didn't actually get to complete. I hope to do it again next year so I can participate.

This was a fun idea! This packet was quite helpful in terms of explaining what Camp NetGalley was all about. I hope I’ll be able to participate more next time around.

Not as exciting as I thought it was going to be. But it was a fun idea. I was hoping there would be more reading challenges or something like that included.
