I love this idea - lots of things here which have inspired me to get reading again this summer. What a fun thing to have devised - thank you, NetGalley!

As this is my first summer to participate in the fun, I thought it was easy to follow to along. Ideas for next year, not sure at the moment, as I do not know what has been completed in the past or have seen other examples to compare this years’ to it. Great job keeping the reading energy going throughout the summer!

This is my first year with Camp NetGalley and I had a blast with the Summer reading activities and prompts. The themes stickers are cute and I wished I had known and utilized NetGalley sooner! My favorite activities were the daily scavenger hunt and bingo! The instructions are simple and straightforward. What a great way to earn a virtual camping badge. Highly recommend readers take part.

I was featured more than once on their Instagram story and would definitely participate again next year!

Thank you to We Are Bookish for this fun summer activity! I loved the camp vibes, filled with fun challenges. I would love next year to see more badges, such as submit a review in July and get a "s'more reviews the better" badge, or send We are Bookish a picture of what book you would bring camping and get the "Happy Camper" badge. One of my favourite parts of camping is telling ghost stories, maybe we can have a virtual ghost story night with authors sharing their favourite ghost stories. Crafts are a blast, maybe have a camp Netgalley craft tutorial in the welcome packet. Lastly, the talent show can be users sharing their reviews for their favoruite books of the year. I really enjoyed this activity and would love to see something be offered in February or March to brighten cold winter days. Thank you again for all the hard work that went into this activity.

Thank you for this fun opportunity to engage with you on social, share some of my summer reading and bring back the nostalgic memories of summer camp through Camp NetGalley 2024.

Reflecting on camp, I loved the scavenger hunt event week. Equally as valuable, was the sharing you did of our posts with your following. Not only was it fun to see others reads but also it was nice to find new book reviewers to follow and to get some new followers as well.

For next year, I would continue this as well as build on the bunk concept from the first few days. I did not really see how to engage with others that picked the same bunk as me. That would be another way to engage with reviewers with similar interests to find new reads and community friends.

Camp NetGalley was a fun and interactive way to promote reading and the NetGalley platform.

I appreciated knowing what was required of me upfront in order to participate but I would have liked to see more, smaller, rewards (like downloadable stickers) released based on participation goals instead of an upfront data dump.

I would also love to see some virtual workshops offered for things like aocla .media posts, review tips and maybe even some meet the author type webinars, just for Camp NetGalley participants (think: the activities we sign up for at camp). Maybe based off of the "bunk" we chose.

Overall this was a fun activity and I look forward to more in the future.

Camp NetGalley is a great initiative to bring book reviewers together and a way to find each other! I enjoyed following along on Instagram. I imagine many of the templates and prompts would have been easier to partake in if I worked off a computer. Most of my reading, and all my social is on my phone which made Bingo, Meet the Camper, Bunk activities, and stickers harder to take advantage of, or maybe it was my age? The Scavenger Hunt was my favorite part, besides all the reviewer tips! Hope to see ya at Camp NetGalley 2025!

Camp NetGalley Welcome Pack is a bit of summer reading fun. I like being able to interact with other readers by sharing reviews and playing games. I like the many ways this shows you how to connect with other readers. This will definitely be enjoyable and entertaining to participate in. The bingo game was super fun. Next year it would be great if there was more downloadable items, such as bookmarks. Also maybe other badges for interaction.

Loved the whole bingo concept it really encouraged me to read more and explore books and authors I might not have before.

I thought this was so creative and fun. I’ve never seen or been a part of anything like it and I enjoyed ticking off the various prompts. Everything was organised really well. Thumbs up from me :)

Nice idea for some fun book community interaction! I would love to see an area put into place where we could make suggestions for NetGalley easily. My biggest one is always to allow us to request Auto-approval from our favorite publishers of course.

Camp NetGalley was a fun activity for the summer. The camp is very easy and does not feel stressful to complete. All the activities are fun! From Book Bingo to Stickers! I also enjoyed all of the social media posts including introductions to camp counselors! It is hard being an adult and not being able to participate in all of the fun camp activities we use to have has kinds, but Camp NetGalley brought some of that fun back! I look forward to next summer to see what else they will add to Camp NetGalley.
