This is such a fun idea! I love that it's Camp themed, very Summer appropriate. It will mostly be appealing for people who want to share it on Instagram, but it gives different prompts and ideas to create bookish content.

I loved doing the camp this year its been so fun to try and fit books that are "camp themed" Net galley provided some great prompts and fun templates to share with my audience. I would love to see more of those next year with a verity of different color scheme to correlate camp vibes. I would like to suggest a bingo or some sort of tally to keep track of the type of camp books I've read or maybe a place where you can see and chat with others who are participating and chat with them about their reads.

I thought that this was an amazing opportunity to do and so creative. I loved the format of how it was set up and that it was interactive in technology and non-tech pieces. I appreciated the BINGO portion of the challenge. This was a challenge to me to be able to use the social channels and network and connect with others. I think that the engagement on Instagram and social media was also thought through and helpful. I would totally do this again next year.

I am not sure what I would change moving forward for next year.

This was not user friendly but cute to see. This needs to be more user friendly to promote it. Great idea on socials but not easy to manipulate and use in socials.

This looks like a fun idea, but pretty much all the activities seem to be geared towards posting on Instagram--which I don't have and have no desire to get. Honestly... it's a little hokey over all. Things like Camp NaNoWriMo work a lot better because the host website is formatted to automatically badge the events, as well being designed with forums and friend functions. Given that most of these activities take place on secondary sites like Instagram or Twitter.... it's just messy and disconnected. It's a good idea, but needs a lot more infrastructure to work properly.

I love summer reading challenges, and this packet from NetGalley is a fun way to tackle ARCs awaiting feedback.

I especially enjoy the bingo board...who does not love to play bingo? It's a good way too to read books on topics that may not necessarily be my go-to choices.

I really enjoyed having this as a fun little summer reading activity for the month of July. I definitely paired this with Summerween and had a very successful month this month.

This was a fun idea for avid readers to get a little out of our book chairs and into society, but without making us too interactive, lol! I enjoyed following along on the bingo card, and the stickers were great. For next year, it could be fun to have us design a book cover and submit it as a contest!

This was a great idea and I hope they continue it and perhaps even extended it further in subsequent years.

I love that NetGalley has created this awesome resource for Summer Readers.
Due to summer reading being the busiest part of my summer, I have been unable to participate but the graphics are excellent, and the activities easy to follow.
Next year, i would like to find a way to make it a program for everyone in my Library to participate maybe win some prizes.

This was a fun, community-building exercise to kick off the summer. Next year, I'd love incentives like prizes (NetGalley swag? Auto-approval status from publishers?) be added into the mix. Will definitely look forward to this next summer. 4 Stars.

I had been in a reading slump for a few weeks but this event + the bingo board made me so excited to choose my upcoming TBR to complete the board! I'm really looking forward to getting to the prompts and through my endless TBR list! :)

Loved this! Growing up, I always wanted to experience the American summer camp experience. I'm in the middle of winter but the sun is still shining and we don't get any snow. I was a bit late to the party but I was eager to join in on the Camp NetGalley fun. It's a great way to keep up with reading and to tick off an achievement or two. Honestly, I probably won't get to finish all the tasks but it has been a good time.

I really like the idea of summer reviewing challenge on Netgalley. The welcome packet was informative, but I also enjoyed the fun formatting. I especially like participants can earn a badge. I'm intrigued and interested to see entries for the talent show reviews.

I couldn't resist the Camp NetGalley Welcome Packet by We Are Bookish. I was that kid that spent her summers in the library. And my winters...and all the other seasons and free time I had. I loved the idea of a summer camp where you just read new and interesting things and then share your thoughts. BINGO??? YES!!!! This was very fun, and I hope there will be more events in the future like it.
