This was such a fun and cute idea!! I love the idea of challenges/community events like this to encourage tackling overflowing shelves..
Adding a badge for participating is also great for completionists like me. I think it would be fun next year to do the event over the full summer with each month themed to a different aspect of reviewing—for social media posts, for goodreads/blogs, based on genres, general writing tips, etc.

A fun idea for a bookish camp. Thanks netgalley for this unique camp. I really enjoyed this opportunity to participate in something fun.

I love the idea of this camping, thank you Netgalley for this experience, I know I cant win because I dont live in US but I love make this challenge because I love read and read and read. Thank you team of Netgalley!

this was so cute and I loved the idea! thank you so much netgalley for making this, I enjoyed filling it all in.

this is so very cute! I loved this camp theme activities, kept me motivated with a cute summer theme! Book Bingo is hands down the best part, It got me out of my book slump and opened my eyes to new books I might have passed on!

Thank you to Net Galley for this, this is a really fun idea and I have really enjoyed playing bingo.

Camp NetGalley is an interesting concept. I’m interested to see if NetGalley continues this in the future.

It’s a fun idea- I just think it didn’t offer as many realistic engagements options, I.e. didn’t match a lot of booktok aesthetics.

This is such a fun idea! Love the Bingo card and the Talent Show, though I'm having trouble with the link for it.

Shark Heart, By Emily Habeck
I picked up this book at the library I work at, drawn to the pretty cover, and soon had all of my coworkers laughing at the synopsis, "I diagnose you with... Shark."
I decided to take one for the team, read this book, and report back - either I could give a hilarious play-by-play, or I'd be pleasantly surprised.
I didn't know I'd just picked up one of the most beautiful books I'd ever read. I purchased a copy for myself to re-read and highlight later before I'd even finished reading.
I'm begging you, just give this book a shot. It's a quick read - many chapters are less than a page long. It will be a brief and touching read, and just silly enough to make you wonder why you're suddenly crying at "the weird shark book".

Thanks for making this challenge!!
I can’t figure out how to make the TBR but otherwise it’s been fun to track my arcs I’ve read.

Love this informative packet! 5 stars! It is nice to know how to get more reach on social media. I also started following NetGalley on my Instagram account where they post daily.

This is a really fun idea and I will be looking forward to next year. The biggest success for me is the bingo sheet with tasks to do in regards to NetGalley and reviews. My one suggestion would be to do a bingo sheet that would encourage participants to diversify their reading further by reading an age category or genre they normally don't or to read a book from a specific identity (such as a square to read a square from a Queer Filipino author (such as Gabriella Buba or K. M. Enright))
A review I am proud of is my review for A Thousand Times Before by Asha Thanki: https://www.goodreads.com/review/show/6331967954

What a fun idea!! Love that NetGalley are thinking of ways to get our creative juices flowing. Would love to see this again next year!

I would LOVE for this to grow into a truly interactive reading challenge - maybe through something like Beanstack? It would be great to have ways to interact with other NetGalley users and have a way to participate in reading challenges.

This is a fun idea to spice up summer reading. It captures the vibes of a summer camp and a summer reading program while still being low-key and not too demanding. I look forward to seeing more of these in the future.

The idea of a summer reading camp is fantastic! The activities are incredibly entertaining for a book lover like me, and I particularly enjoyed the bingo. For future years, I suggest a preselection of books with a summer theme and virtual book clubs within the NetGalley community. These clubs could read and discuss the selected books together.

I wish I had known about this sooner! I didn't find out until the end of July and wasn't able to participate in most of the activities. Next year, I guess!
One major piece of feedback/wishlist item I have is that books releasing more than a month out should not count against our feedback percentages (I have been accepted for books all the way until late October, but won't read and review those for a few more months, so it is currently hurting my feedback percentage).

I love this concept of having a way to unite Netgalleh members but think it would be fun next year to use Instagram for the bingo more and have some sort of Facebook page or group or use Geneva or Discord or something to allow users to connect with each other more.
Linking my Goodreads review page because I'm having issues linking only one review--reallu proud of the reviews I've shared this month!

This is a great packet of bookish materials. There are so many things that you can use and do all perfect for participating in summer reading camp! Its perfect to keep you motivated to read!
