Camp Netgalley is an activity created to make summer reading fun!

✴️ What I liked:

~ I love the contest to submit your best review as a talent show entry.

✴️ What didn't work for me:

~ I wasn't able to figure out how to get stickers.

~ There were supposed to be weekly activities, like bingo and a scavenger hunt, but I wasn't sure where these were to be shared.

✴️ Final thoughts:

~ I love the idea and concept, however, some improvements could be made. For example, when you attend summer camp, you usually hang out with people while doing activities. Unless I am missing something, there weren't any shared activities with others. My suggestion would be to also create a Facebook group for everyone to join in and post their activities.

What an enjoyable welcome packet, to benefit new and long time NetGalley-ers alike.

This will make for fun July of reading - bingo, and a potential new badge 🙂 Looking forward to this!

I really loved the camp atmosphere the booklet gave. It’s a great theme for summer and a camp I would have loved when I was a kid, I’m happy I get to experience a glimpse of it as an adult. I do wish that maybe there was an in person meet up where I could get a real tote bag and stickers. Maybe for the future do pop ups in major cities, *cough cough* NYC. I think this is a great idea that can be expanded even more. I hope you enjoy my submission but also read the book! Thank you.

This is such a fun little activity for readers. Sometimes I miss summer camps (and I definitely miss having summers off of school), so this was a nice treat of a project to work on this summer. Thank you for sharing!

Camp NetGalley Is a great idea and it’s really fun, I am glad to be participating. I am looking forward to earning my merit badges and participating in the scavenger hunt.

The bingo board on page 7 is an entertaining challenge.

I am looking forward to submitting a review for the Talent Show portion of the event next week.

In the future, I think it would be fun if there was an online bookclub event, a book trivia contest, perhaps an adult book olympics type event, and some prizes to win as well.

I would have loved a little presentation on how to perfect your reviews to attract and appeal to more publishers for next year. As well as a "cabin" tour.
Being new to NetGalley it was easy to learn but I would still love more tips and helpful guides (more than what i already emailed weekly to me and available online). More fun interactive and get to meet accomplished Book Reviews on NetGalley
