I really like this. I think if you've got an interest in like spells, magic, this is a really good base level for you. So it would be a really good like coffee table book.

I think you know everyone's got to start somewhere and this is accessible. It's very user friendly. and I think there's something even for the most experienced witch.

Thoroughly enjoyed.

This book is ideal for Witches who have been practicing for a little while, because it covers so much information. This book is a nice combination of magic.. I loved this book, and like someone else said, I wish this volume was around about twenty five years ago, because it would have saved me a lot of research and time on my earlier Grimoires. A must have for all witches but I do I love all of Lindsay Squire's books so may be a little biased!

One of my work colleagues told me to look more into the mystical, as so I did. I enjoyed this book, but I still feel lost in terms of what to do with such earthy energies.

This was an interesting book, although I don't practice, I find spells interesting and I liked the idea behind them all and for someone who does this would be very good for them.

My daughter especially liked this book. Filled with lots of information for the modern witch or pagan.

Love this, but was not easy to obtain on Netgalley. Although I received the book, I could not download it to my devices to read. I had to buy it to give a review. This is a wonderful addition to any thoughtful library.

A good resource for spell casting. Nicely grouped together, well laid out and good graphics. None of the ingredients are too esoteric, but you might want to make a list and hit up a good occult shop before starting. Squire does list correspondences, which is handy. One thing, many of her incense recipes require use of a charcoal disk to use, if that’s not your thing (it isn’t mine), try and find stick or cone incense. I was also quite happy to see "smoke cleansing" instead of smudging.

I'd recommend this book for anyone who'd like to start a spell library.

Great reference guide and inspiration source. The various categories of spells and rituals contained rites of all kinds, meaning there is something for everyone. I loved that Squire tried to keep the ingredients/materials lists to those that are common or easily obtained, and I appreciated her reference lists of correspondences - very helpful. I wish there were some photographs or illustrations of different things that may be unfamiliar to beginners, but overall, this book is good and useful.

I received an advance reader copy of this book to read in exchange for an honest review via netgalley and the publishers.

The Witch's Book of Spells is a special book for anyone wanting to start out in witchcraft. I found it really interesting and easy to use with simple spells and rituals for newbies and more seasoned practitioners alike. The book starts out with an introduction into spellcasting, then moves on to spells and rituals with added information such as ingredients needed, best times to cast certain spells. The pictures were pretty and a nice touch.

I liked that the spells included a little bit of history about the casting

Whether you're looking for practical advice or just some new inspiration for your craft, this book is a must-have for any witch’s collection!

What a lovely little book with spells to help you live your best life.
It's full of rituals and spells, that are both very "magickal" and practical.
If you're looking to embrace your inner witch, this is the perfect book for you!

I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily. I have to admit, I’m still not sure how much stock I put in modern day witchery and spells but this was an interesting read nonetheless. The way in which it was broken up makes it easier to read or locate the type of assistance you need and some of the spells/recipes were interesting, like the tea for better connections and the bath soak to reduce anxiety. I do think that some of these may be able to help somewhat, as the ingredients in the tea magick for calm have been researched as some form of calming scent or mild tranquilliser so they should help calm an individual regardless of any incantation.
