This was an insightful read about families with struggles and poor coping mechanisms. My heart went out to Aurora, she's a 15 year old girl who has to deal with her families struggles and poor life choices. It made me sad to think what the girl has been through just because her family doesn't know how to properly handle tough situations, she deserved better. I'm glad we get to see Aurora grow into her own person and make her own choices, I found this to be a very heartfelt, genuine and realistic book.

This story of mother and daughter growing up together and the mistakes and choices the mother made for both of them mad me a little mad. But watching Aurora at 15 learn her own life and make her own choices made me happy. I understand as a mother you make poor choices but to uproot your child constantly can be to much. Having the Gran she had was helpful to have some stability for a home. I would definitely recommend this book! It’s a great read and it kept my interest from page to page.

Oh this book brought so many emotions. I felt for Aurora so much. To be 15 and have lived a life of such instability. This is three generations of women that are dealing with a lot. If you want to feel all the feels than read this book.
