i love a good small town romance and this didn't disappoint! i loved the humour, the characters, the dual pov, small town antics and low level of drama. the back and forth with the romance was a bit drawn out but i liked the romance overall

An excellent follow up to book 1, I am truly feeling the vintage Nora Roberts vibe! Beckett is so dumb but his heart is in the right place. I love the Stars Hollow feel of the town and I can see a little inspiration for Lucy Score's most recent release 'Story of My Life', which I really enjoyed!

Thank you to NetGalley and Sourcebooks BloomBooks for the eARC in exchange for an honest review.

This was just ok for me. Something felt off about the writing that I couldn’t place. Their chemistry was great, and it was a cute storyline, but I just couldn’t get into it. So much back and forth. I did enjoy the side characters and the setting.

Book Review: Fall into Temptation by Lucy Score

Lucy Score is an author I will never turn down. Sometimes I take a break from romance, but her books always pull me back in!

I’m absolutely loving the Blue Moon series. One of my favorite things is how—even though each book focuses on a specific couple (this one is all about Beckett and Gia)—you still get glimpses of the other characters you’ve come to love. It makes the book feel familiar.

Honestly, I wish I could rent a cozy cabin and binge the entire series without interruption.

If you’re in the mood for a romance with heart, humor, and a bit of steam, this series is a must-read.

A fantastic book and series! Fall into Temptation is a fun, funny, and swoony story that hooked me from the beginning.

I loved Beckett and Gianna's chemistry and the quick connection that formed between them. They were both interesting, multi-dimensional characters working through a lot in their lives and with their families. I also liked how he also formed relationships with her kids as their relationship developed.

Blue Moon is a unique small town full of quirky citizens and charm, and I cannot recommend this book and series enough!

This is a good book. The two main characters are Gia and Beckett. Gia moves to Beckett’s hometown with her two children. Gia’s father lives there too. There is an attraction. They can’t be kept apart. They think about each other for twenty four seven. They start dating in secret. They are having trouble keeping it a secret. They fall in love with each other.

Continuing this sweet interconnected standalone small town romance series with the grumpy mayor! I would highly recommend reading the first book in the series because that couple is very prominent in this book. It’s easy to read and so sweet. The kids are adorable and created so many funny moments.

read this if you’re in the mood for…
- single mom
- small town antics
- nosy neighbors
- forced proximity (she rents his guest house)
- cute nicknames
- secret relationship

This book is character driven with the main focus being on the relationship. Her kids added more layers to the story and the complicated relationship with her ex added drama (even if some of it felt unrealistic). I think I liked the first one in the series better but it was still sweet!

Here are a few of my favorite things…
- the hot power yoga competition lol those classes are BRUTAL
- “bucket” is so cute
- the day the Pierce men babysit
- a fairy garden moment at the end? Adorable!

Overall, I enjoyed! It won’t be my first recommendation but it was still good.

4.5⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

new yoga studio, moves to the quirky town of Blue Moon seeking a fresh start. Her plans don’t include romance, especially not with her brooding landlord, Beckett Pierce—the town’s mayor and her father’s girlfriend’s son. Despite their best intentions, sparks fly, leading to a series of sizzling encounters and heartfelt moments.

Why You’ll Love It
• Charming Characters: Gianna and Beckett’s chemistry is palpable, and their witty banter adds a delightful touch to their evolving relationship.
• Endearing Side Characters: Gianna’s children, Evan and Aurora, bring humor and warmth, while the meddling townsfolk of Blue Moon add layers of fun and unpredictability.
• Heartfelt Themes: The story explores themes of community, family, and second chances, making it more than just a typical romance.

If you’re in the mood for a feel-good romance with a mix of spice, laughter, and heart, Fall into Temptation is a perfect pick.

If I had to sum this book up in one word, it would have to be CRINGE. Fall into Temptation tells the story of Beckett and Gia, who become pretty much instantly obsessed with each other, despite learning that their parents are dating (so they are essentially step-siblings). Even without that factor, there are so many other painfully cringe moments in how these two interacted. This was just not the book for me.

Thank you to Bloom Books for gifting me with an ARC to review. All opinions are my own.

Thank you NetGalley for the ARC. This was my first Lucy Score book, I knew her most famous books, but did not have the chance to read one. So I can say this was a nice introduction. The writing was easy to follow but not simple. The story was sweet and wrapped up nicely though step sibling interest is not my thing, it can easily be awkward. Thanks.

This author is new to me, but I will be keeping an eye out for anything else they publish. I loved the story and the characters. The pacing of the story was great and the characters were relatable.

Unfortunately, this book was not for me. I didn't like the MMC, so that was a turnoff for me with this book. I will not be reviewing this book on my social media.

I adored this book! The kids really made this book for me. Aurora was just so adorable. I loved the brothers and their relationship. It was fun that they resorted to their inner child when they were together. And of course Beckett and Gia. They couldn't keep their hands off of each other. Loved it!

Another solid read from Lucy Score. Great characters and simple storyline. Whenever I need a light easy read I know Lucy Score will not disappoint. Solid four stars. Desperately waiting for the Jax/Joey installment.

"I know that you care about me. And I know that I am head over heels for you, Gianna. You are never out of my head. I want us to be an official us.”
"What about Evan and Aurora?”
"Your package deal and a damn good one. Your kids are one of the best pieces of you.”

I love this book! Reading how Beckett has to deal with Gianna and her two kids living in his guest out was hilarious. He keeps telling himself that nothing can happen, yet he keeps doing all these amazing things and making them look like such a cute family. I loved how he wasn’t just there for Gianna, but for her kids as well. From helping her stepson, Evan with a debate club, to being Aurora’s model when she wants to do makeup and hair! I cracked up at all of the bickering that would go on between Beckett and his brothers, Jax and Carson. I love this small town so much! The characters are just so perfect and you can’t help with falling in love with everyone. I especially loved the chemistry between Beckett and Gianna. The steaming scenes were so good and it was specially hot with all the sneaking around the two of them had to do! I loved the ending and cannot wait to see more of this family!

I love Lucy Score but this was a flop for me. I couldn't get past the fact that they are step-siblings and the insta-love.

This is the Second book in the Blue Moon series. I loved Carters story and now this book follows Beckett and Gias love story, how they’re trying to avoid falling in love. I cannot recommend the book enough. Small town stories have always been my favorite, and this one has lovable and great characters to remember.
I really enjoy reading Lucy score books, they’re always fun and her stories are very easy to follow . This books wasn’t the exception, a mix of fun and romance, perfect combination. I Loved the ending!

I always enjoy Score's writing and story telling. This was no exception. I love how she creates welcoming places, like Blue Moon, as the backdrop, but she does it so well that it becomes just as important of a character. Gia and Beckett were adorable but it was refreshing to have a romantic story around two people that had some life experience and were more mature. Gia was a strong, confident female lead, which was also refreshing. Beckett was manly enough without being controlling or unemotional. I love the added tie in a family dynamics as well.
I can't wait to read about the next Pierce brother!

I did not realize that this was part of a series when I started reading this, though shortly into it I thought that it might be because of how it presented information on the other characters. Luckily, the book is written in a way that you're not totally lost if you accidentally start with this one. Gia and Beckett are fun characters and their chemistry is fun to read about. It's a solid romance, especially if you're willing to believe in their insta-love (which I sometimes have trouble with, but didn't for this book). Thank you NetGalley and Bloom Books for this ARC!
