⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️/5

Cozy and fun read!

Gia arrives at Blue Moon to give a brighter future for herself and her kids. She is living in a townhouse owned by the Mayor, Beckett. They have instant chemistry and such a great push and pull between them! I absolutely loved them together!

All the characters were fantastic in this book! I loved the dual povs, the humor, and overall plot of this book! Lucy Score never disappoints and this book is no exception! This was the perfect book to get me in the fall mood!

This was good. It took me a while to get through but it was cute and heartwarming. I liked it but didn't love it. There are other Score books I liked more but I will always be a fan of her writing.

Possibly even more fun than the first book! Really loved how many tropes Score squeezed into this romp: we-can't-date-because-you're-my-landlord, we-can't-date-because-your-dad-is-marrying-my-mom-and-I've-got-Big-Feelings-about it, opposites attracting (her: the clumsy yoga guru, him: the straightlaced mayor/lawyer), single mom and grumpy bachelor... Bennett and Gia's dynamic was such fun, and her kids were HILARIOUS -- far too often, kids in romances are written so badly, or are only obstacles/annoyances, but Aurora (WHAT A DELIGHT!) and Evan both felt real and added texture to the story in entertaining ways. Also fun seeing the Beautification Committee getting fleshed out/digging their tenacious claws into things, and the side characters -- as always, in a Lucy Score charmer -- frequently made me snort. Especial fave was probably Goth Princess/Beckett's paralegal Ellery, with her platform boots and black lipstick. Once again, I sped through the book with barely a breath, and I'm already diving into Book 3. Can't wait to shove this series at everyone I cross paths with!

3/3.5. There were some parts of this book that I enjoyed (the side characters were really great, so maybe I will enjoy the other books in the series). However, I am not a fan of insta love or miscommunication, which is what the romance between the two main characters was and what caused their problems. Also, I struggle with the step sibling dating/married thing going on here. Although the master plan to get them back together at the end was great lol
Thank you NetGalley and SourceBooks for the ARC :)

Needing a new start, Gia moves herself and two kids to Blue Moon to be closer to her dad. Beckett and Gia have an immediate mutual attraction to one another. They both agree that there are too many reasons for them not to be together. They both are jaded in love, he’s her landlord and he has a problem with her dad dating his mom just to name a few. Between the matchmaking town and two cute kids they can’t seem to stay away from one another. Sometimes what may seem to be the worst idea can turn out to be the best. Thank you to NetGalley and Bloom Books for this free advanced copy. I am leaving this review voluntarily

I loved Beckett from No More Secrets, so it was great to gain a greater insight to he is as a person. He went through great growth in this story. He learned the accept change and was able to get some more closure in the death of his father. He realized that everyone grieves differently, and just because his mother has a new man in her life, does not mean that she does not still love John Pierce and the time they had together.

Gia was such a great character. She was so strong, and the complete opposite of Beckett. I believe that the two complimented each other really well. Beckett is the calm, cool and collected one that is able to bring structure and organization into Gia's life. Gia was able to bring joy, happiness and fun into Beckett's. The two were made for one another.

The standouts in this book were Aurora and Evan. I am obsessed with those two. Evan is wise beyond his years and may not show it, but just wants Gia to be happy. He is always looking out for her best interests even if she does not realize it. Rora is just an adorable 5 year old. I could not stop laughing every time she called Beckett Bucket. She is a little spitfire with the most adorable personality.

This book explored the idea that family is more than just blood. It is who you bring into your fold. Gia was able to find that in Blue Moon Bend, but she had already started this practice with Evan when she took him in as her own even if they had not blood relation. By the end of the book Beckett was able to do this with Gia's kids and Franklin as well.

Overall, I really loved this book. It did contain the miscommunication trope which could have easily been avoided, but luckily the two were able to get their heads out of their butts to make up.

Note: Thank you to NetGalley, Blume Books, and author Lucy Score for the advanced reader copy of this book. What follows is my unbiased review of the book.

Author Lucy Score is a name I’d heard bantered around on various book groups I’m in, always in a positive way. I was intrigued and wanted to check out her writing, so when I saw this book available as an advanced reader copy, I leaped at the chance.

Let me preface this by saying I’m not a fan of romance books. I like romance fine, when it’s part of another story. Pure romance though is not my thing. Unfortunately, Fall into Temptation falls into the category of pure romance. If I hadn’t agreed to do a review, I likely would not have finished the book as it just didn’t call to me at all.

Gianna Decker has just moved back to the town of Blue Moon. It’s a quirky place somewhere in upstate New York. She’s recently divorced and has custody of her daughter as well as her stepson since the father has no real interest in either of them. She plans to open up a yoga studio and rents a guest house on Beckett Pierce’s property.

Beckett Pierce is the mayor of Blue Moon. He was born and raised here with his three brothers. His father has been deceased for some time. Beckett seems to be no good at relationships. His last girlfriend lasted all of three weeks and it ended with her burning his welcome mat, handcuffing herself to the stairs, and having to be carted away by the sheriff. Gianna is beautiful. Beckett is handsome.

As soon as these two set eyes on each other they are obsessed. Their every waking moment seems to be thoughts of the other. Gianna’s two kids adore Beckett and he enjoys being with them as well. Since Gianna’s father is dating Beckett’s mother, they are all soon caught up in each other’s family. It seems to be a match made in heaven.

You know in a book like this there has to be a problem at some point, and the problem is when Gianna’s ex comes to town. Well, not really. He’s not a problem at all, but Beckett jumps to the wrong conclusions.

Is there ever really a question, though, if things will work out? I mean, this is romance. You’ve got to have the princess and her happily ever after. That is where I struggle with so many romance novels. They are so predictable. There’s no real suspense to them, and in this case, there is a lot of hot, steamy sex, so if you like that sort of thing I’m sure you’d like Fall into Temptation, but it’s just not my thing.

So why did I give it 4 stars (rounded up from 3 1/2)? One part really did resonate with me. At one point, Gianna is feeling pulled in many different directions. Beckett arranges to put a dishwasher in her rental. She didn’t ask him to; he was over one night and she made a comment about not having a dishwasher. It was in such a way that it wasn’t a complaint, it was just matter-of-factly stated. By the next weekend, Beckett and his brother are installing a dishwasher. He’s also arranged for their parents to take the kids to give her some time for herself. At this point, Gianna is working two jobs and trying to be a supermom. She resents the help they are offering her.

At what point has that happened to us as a society? My spouse often talks about when he was young and when someone in the family had a new baby and how the female family members rallied around the mother to help her out as needed. We’re missing that now. Everyone is so intent on proving they can do it all that they resent it when people help them, instead of embracing it. Everyone is so busy trying to prove they don’t need anyone instead of building a community that helps each other out. Fall into Temptation does capture that sense of community and makes a good argument for it, although I do think the town of Blue Moon takes it to an extreme.

If you like romance, I’m sure you’d like Fall into Temptation. I could take it or leave it, really, although I thought it made a good point about people reaching out and helping each other, as well as accepting that help and not seeing it as a comment on their abilities.

Cute story in a small town. Past baggage can be messy and cause misunderstandings. Enjoyable characters in a great small town setting. I did not read the first book in this series but I am sure it was a feel good, quick read too.

Thank you to NetGalley for allowing me to read this delightful book!

Fall Into Temptation by Lucy Score is yet another gem that won’t disappoint! The characters are incredibly relatable and likable, making it easy to get swept up in their story. The side characters are just as engaging and really bring the charming village of Blue Moon to life, making you want to visit again and again.

In this story, we meet the mayor, who unexpectedly falls for his new tenant—the daughter of his mom’s boyfriend! Talk about complicated! When he discovers they’re going to be living together, his reaction is priceless. As events unfold, both characters find themselves falling hard for each other. But just when everything seems perfect, they hit a rough patch and break up. Cue the adorable matchmaking efforts of the Blue Moon residents, who are determined to get them back together!

This is the first book in the series that I’ve read, and I’m definitely hooked! I can’t wait to dive into the rest of the books, all of which promise sexy romance and captivating stories. It’s an easy read, and as someone who loves a good romance, I highly recommend it!

This is a good, typical romcom. While I think many would enjoy it, the writing style and characters felt too one-dimensional to me.

Like any other Lucy Score book this was amazing, I felt in love with her while I was reading Things we never got over and everything from her is a must read for me, Gianna and Becket were just amazing and I loved see their development, also single mom and bachelor? Who can resist to that?

Thank you to Netgalley! For allowing me to read the book
Fall into temptation is another Lucy Score´s book that won´t disappoint you!
Very likeable and realistic characters. Also the side characters who make you want to go back to Blue Moon, a village where the Mayor falls in love with his new tenant and the daughter of his mum´s boy -friend. which he hates when he finds out that they are going to live together.
Through different events both are falling hard for each other and when they go through a break up the habitants of Blue Moon form a matchmaking team that would help them to get back together.
This is the 1st book of this series that I have read but I will be looking at the rest of the books in the series full of sexy romance.
Easy read but I love a good romance.

I probably should have started with the first book in what I assume is a trilogy, whoops! This one stood alone very well and I enjoyed getting to know Beckett and Gia and watching them fall in love with each other and their respective families.

I love a good small town romance romcom!
This book had me kicking my feet. It was so fun!
I'm a sucker for good banter, and this had it in spades!

(Also step brother and step sister. The taboo lover in me ate it up!)

It’s official...I’m obsessed with Lucy Score’s Blue Moon series and the Pierce family! Fall Into Temptation is the second book in this charming small town romance series and it’s another hit for me.

This time we’re focused on Beckett Pierce, a sexy, broody attorney and the Mayor of Blue Moon. Beckett also happens to be the town’s most eligible bachelor, although he has sworn off romance for a while after his last girlfriend handcuffed herself to his porch and set his welcome mat on fire.
That said, he’s struggling mightily to resist his gorgeous new tenant, Gia.

Gia is a single mom with two adorable kids, and she’s also the town’s new yoga instructor. Gia has come to Blue Moon looking for a fresh start after her divorce. She doesn’t have romance on her mind but can’t deny that her landlord is super hot and that she probably likes him way more than she should.

I loved that both of these characters were flawed and so relatable and I also really enjoyed watching the evolution of their relationship. The chemistry between them is electric so their attempts to keep things platonic fails, but then when they give up and try to keep things purely physical, that fails as well because they’re just meant to be together.

As fun as their relationship was, what really made this one such a wonderful read for me was the relationship that Beckett forges with Gia’s children. I just melted every time the youngest one called him Bucket instead of Beckett.

Full of charm, heart, spice, and plenty of hilarious banter, you can’t go wrong with Fall into Temptation!

4 1/2 Stars

I’ve read a few of Score’s books and this one is just as cute, spicy and fun as the rest. 4 stars because I always feel like her stories are drawn out in some parts, not deep enough for the amount of book she gives. Having said that, if any of her books/couples made it to a tv or movie adaptation, I’d watch them!

Gia and Beckett were fun to read!

I discovered Lucy Score thanks to her series Knockemout and I really enjoyed her writing. So when this book was announced, I was really thrilled to be able to have my hands on it ! It's the second in the Blue Moon series though, so I had to read the 1st one.
Gia is a mother of two, who settled in Blue Moon as the new yoga teacher. She's funny, and smart, but also fierce and loyal, and she probably was my favourite character so far. She meets her tenant, Beckett, who also happens to be the handsome mayor of Blue Moon...
This small town romance mixes insta-love and single mom tropes, also with a found family one. It was sweet, and I liked that Gia was not insecure towards her feelings, and not someone to fall into her thoughts.
I started this new series, and I will certainly read the 3rd one, focused on Jackson, the 3rd Pierce brother...

Return to Blue Moon, with the 2nd book in the series featuring the Pierce brothers. Town Mayor Beckett Pierce is not looking for love after a disastrous breakup. New to town, Gianna Decker and her two children, are settling in as she opens a yoga studio, reconnects with her father, and discovers the grumpy and attractive mayor is her landlord. Soon their complicated families and the town's beautification committee show that the temptation to give into their feeling is too much to deny.
