A cute story about one women's journey through heartbreak. Brokenhearted after yet another breakup with her fiance, Viv decides to set up a self-help website for others like her, dealing with a heartbreak.
While she's using vodka as a form of therapy and obsessing about the perfection of her ex-fiances new girlfriend, her perfectly adorable best friend Max is always there for her.

I have to say Max was my favorite character in this story. And there were moments when I wanted to scream at him to RUN. Vivian is a complicated mess but with big red flag energy and I think the piece I wish I felt more of was that natural "rooting for the main character" vibe. My guess is that there will be many readers who won't be bothered by that.

If you're a fan of chick lit, friends to lovers, imperfect heroines, and just overall light and fluffy reads about messy relationship stuff you'll enjoy this one!

Very grateful to NetGalley and Bookouture for gifting me a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review!

It started out interesting -32 year old woman left for a model. She stuck with this dude after he cancelled a wedding 3 times! 3 times! Yet she still took him back. Instead of getting her life back - she wants him back. She was ridiculous. I didn't connect with the main character and the whole book was frustrating. I didn't really care how it ended, just glad it did.

Sharp and sparkling, this witty, funny read had me LOL'ing away and sending pictures of my Kindle screen to my friends so I could share the funniest scenes. Viv isn't strictly very likeable as a protagonist, but you still find yourself rooting for her all the same. For all her flaws, Viv was a girl after my own heart (too much to drink at the wrong time, inappropriate amounts of eyeliner) and the story, which I thought was going to be standard chick-lit, did take me by surprise by how much I enjoyed it. A great debut.
