Another 5 stars for Nisha! What a great ending to such an amazing series! (Just make sure to bring the tissues). Like the other books in her series, this one will sweep readers into a world of intrigue, magic, and complex emotions. I will always love Lor and Nasir’s relationship and appreciate their character development across the pages. Overall, this will definitely leave readers eagerly awaiting more from Nisha!

I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.

What a finale to this series. Nisha J. Tuli delivered on her promise to give us a happy ending but she never said that they wouldn’t have to work for it. This had me chewing on my nails and kicking my feet and giggling at Lore and Nadir. I will miss this world and am hoping that maybe there will be a next generation series. But for those that have been anxiously awaiting this book, rest assured, you will not be disappointed.

WOW. That’s all I can say. I read the entire series within that last week and it was epic!

Tale of The Heart Queen was the icing on the cupcake with an extra cherry on top. I loved Lor and her family. The friends they made along the way too, but this book was beautiful. It had turmoil all the way up to last 10% but wrapped everything up with a perfect little bow.

Congrats Nisha J. Tuli on a job well done. I can’t believe my journey with Ouranos is done. Did I guess I couple of the twists? Sure. Was I still surprised along the way? Definitely.

If you enjoy series by Sarah J Maas and Jennifer L Armentrout I highly recommend checking out the entire Artefacts of Ouranos series.

Tale of the Heart Queen is the final book in the Artefacts of Ouranos series and it’s been one of my most anticipated reads for this last half of the year especially after reading the third book earlier in the year as well. After following this story now and seeing Lor grow, and gain strength through these books she’s become one of my favorite MFCs ever. Lor, Nadir, and so many other characters have dealt with so much— and in this book it all has been building up to the final trial. Will Lor and Nadir make it through? Who will be left standing if the evils get their way?

I was in tears by the end of this book, and I will not spoil anything but I cannot thank Nisha enough for giving us this absolutely beautiful end for these characters. It was heartwarming, but also gave me the grandest of hope that everything might work out. Some endings don’t feel like an ending, but Nisha gave this book everything and more and you can tell. It feels complete. I am so sad to see their journey come to end, but I am filled with confidence that this was the perfect ending to one of the best series I’ve read.

First and foremost, I want to thank fellow Canadian, Nisha J. Tuli for bringing this series to a close in such a perfect way. Additional thanks to NetGalley and Forever for the amazing opportunity to read Tale of the Heart Queen as an ARC.

After going from enemies to allies to lovers, we enter Tale of the Heart Queen wondering what the hell happened to Nadir. I cannot express my gratitude for having access to this book upon finishing Fate of the Sun King. Albeit this was a pretty chunky book (figuratively of course) Tuli managed to hook us all in for another mind-boggling adventure and answer so many of the “how did we end up here” questions I had after finishing the first three books. This finale is filled with angst and devastation, will each character storyline gets turned upside down and then resolved. I think fans of the Artefacts of Ouranos will be very happy with this conclusion.

Since there is no more Lor and Nadir to wait for, I’ll have to simply turn my attention to the final book for the Nightfire Quartet to get my #nishajtuli fix.

The first half suffers from too many disparate threads and the author trying to pull them all together. The second half which just pares down to the core relationships and reintroduces the trials from the first book is quite good and engaging and gives a satisfying conclusion to the series.

Tale of the Heart Queen by Nisha J. Tuli
Artefacts of Ouranos Series

Normally I devour Nisha’s books in one day but I made myself take my time with this one… & I’m so glad I did, it was everything and more. I’m heartbroken that this series is over. Trial of the Sun Queen was my first book from Nisha and from then on, I requested ARCs, I was/am OBSESSED. I started devouring all of her other books. I can’t wait to see what she comes up with next.

Lor, is truly the most badass FMC ever and Nadir is such a softie for her. My heart warms at the fact they are there for one another and love each through it all. Lor is fierce and everybody underestimates her, Nadir is truly the only one who stands beside every decision she makes. Any and every question or feeling I had was laid to rest with this book. I really really wish I could go in great detail about EVERYTHING but I don’t want to give anything away! I’m just so happy everyone found their place and is thriving.

Thank you Nisha for allowing me to review for you once again. It was an emotional rollercoaster but the best ride. As always, 5 ⭐️

Absolutely loved this book and this entire series.
Tale of the heart queen gave me everything I needed.
There’s magic, betrayal, heartache, and so many twists and turns. I loved all of the characters (good and evil) I think every character played their part to perfection. Amazing wrap up to an amazing series

This one felt a little different than the rest of the series. There was a lot of telling and not showing, which is a big pet peeve of mine. It felt like resolutions were too easily gained - I just wanted more out of this one. I think the series overall is great and this was enjoyable, just not my favorite of the series.

I have been enjoying this series so much. I love the characters dynamic and have been so excited to see where it goes.

Unfortunately, I’ve recently became aware of the author ostracizing certain people/readers based on their political views and can no longer support this specific author.
I will no longer be reviewing this series.
I believe in books for all, not books for some.

What an ending! From prisoner, to Queen of Heart, Lor will forever live in my heart. It was an incredible adventure seeing Lor find her place in the world, gaining found family, friends, and her mate. Everyone got the ending they deserved and I’m so sad the story ends here.

4.5⭐

Oh my goodness 😭 I can't believe it's over! I think that's why I love series because you become so close to these characters and you become so invested!

My heart was not ready for everything that happened in this book! We got our different povs as usual which I love! All of Ouranos is basically turned upside down and everyone is chosing a side.

The stakes are just through the roof in this book and every character knows it and can feel it. What Lor and nadir have brought about, not just in the heart & aurora but everywhere, has made everything feel like its on the verge of exploding.

There was one particular part of the story that just did not make sense to me and I felt like it was unnecessary and took up so many pages. It was what happened at the end of the last book and continued onto this one. But at the end of the day I see why and it did accomplish what was needed. (Just personal preference)

Overall, I'm so glad and grateful I got to see lor's story and see her grow and start to heal her wounds. Ill miss the final tribute and her gang of misfits 💙

I hope this isn't our last adventure in the ouranos though!

I am so sad this series has come to an end! It was an amazing series and I absolutely loved these characters and seeing their growth throughout the book!
Every book in the series, I loved this world. But I absolutely loved this last one. So many feelings, great scenes, and that ending was amazing!
Can’t wait to see what Nisha has next! Thank you to her, and NetGalley for allowing me an eARC!

Thank you NetGalley and the publisher for the eARC in exchange for an honest review.

Overall, not bad. Tale of the Heart Queen wrapped up Lor and Nadir’s story in a sweet, very repetitive, happily-ever-after way.

But this was not my favorite of the series. I think what bothers me about it is how badly Tuli got lost in explaining everything about her world. There were too many side characters, too many explanations, too much politics and governing, too many layers to the magic, just, too much. At one point she was explaining the needed council majority for a law to pass…what, how did we get here? I also have a very hard time understanding her magic system in general as it felt like it kept changing and getting more complicated, which left me frustrated. Plus, there were many inconsistencies in the plot and world. At several points, Tuli even has a character reference how little sense it all makes, but “it is just how it is”. Almost like she was letting the reader know she realizes it doesn't make much sense, but hey, just go with it.

I also hated the final battle and bad guy. It was weirdly anti-climactic and totally nonsensical. (view spoiler) Not me, just rolling my eyes, while reading it.

All that being said, I still enjoyed reading it. While it confused me and frustrated me at times, if you squint at it, it was fun. Lor and Nadir gave all the spice and the ending did tug at the heart strings. If you have already read the first three, obviously you must read the final installment. Just be prepared for a different type of writing and for it to go off the rails, before it gets to that happily ever after.

It feels so crazy to be officially done with this series. and while I am happy with the final ending, I was a bit disappointed overall. Unfortunately it felt long without purpose and quite repetitive (if I had a dime for every time we had to go to someone else and tell them the same story). The spicy was too much in this one or it just didn't work? I felt like our author really forced a lot of wrap-ups to the story and it just felt monotonous and boring.

The climax of the book...well it just wasn't? It felt too obvious that everything would work out and wasn't interesting to read.

Thank you to Forever and Netgalley for this arc!

Amazing story! Everything wrapped up beautifully and Lor and Nadir have my whole heart. I'm sad the series is ending, but am so grateful I was able to ARC and finish the series.

Nisha proves again why she is a queen!! This series absolutely has my heart. SO GOOD!!!! Lor is such a relatable character and even her ‘tough to like’ traits add so much complexity to her character, I didn’t think book 4 could top book 3 but here we are!

This book is EVERYTHING. It was action after action. It gave me the conclusion l've wanted for this series.
Nadir and Lor deserves the world. This book made me feel and love every character, flaws and all. I cried at so many parts of this book. This is a beautiful ending! ❤️
Spicy rating: 🌶️🌶️🌶️/5
Thank you Netgalley and Forever for this ARC.🥰

Hey so this book wrecked me. I did not expect to CRY at the end but I did. This was the most perfect conclusion to this series. The action, the betrayals, the secrets, the ROMANCE, the character growth… it was all so good. I loved the plot and character development. I truly felt like our characters had grown so much since book one. The romance was top tier and the endings for certain characters were so satisfying. This book seriously had me on the edge of my seat and I thought it was the perfect ending. One of my favorite romantasy series!

Big thank you NetGalley and to the publisher for the chance to review this book pre-release. This was a STUNNING conclusion to the series. Ms. Tuli is a fantastic writer, and incredibly gifted. I would highly recommend this book (and all of her others) to those who love Maas, Armentrout, Yarros and similar romantasy writers. A more formal review will be available on my IG/TikTok and Goodreads for release.
