What a fantastic way to end an incredible series! While I’ve loved every book in this series, this one might just be my favorite. The final installment delivered everything I could have hoped for and more. The depth of character development was phenomenal—each POV and backstory added layers that made me feel like I truly knew these characters as if they were real people.

The ending was emotional and powerful. I found myself tearing up as the characters’ hard work and struggles came to a head. The resolution was bittersweet but so worth the journey. It picked up right where the previous book left off, which was a huge relief after that intense cliffhanger! The story flowed smoothly, keeping me hooked without a dull moment.

The multiple POVs were handled beautifully. Instead of feeling overwhelming, each perspective felt essential and unique, adding richness to the narrative. The mix of plot, humor, and gut-wrenching emotional moments was perfectly balanced, making the story all the more immersive.

Overall, I loved this book and the entire series. The final novel wrapped everything up neatly, with no loose ends left hanging. The resolutions were a blend of sad and happy, but they felt just right. I can’t recommend this series enough—10/10. I absolutely loved it.

I am very grateful and thankful to receive an e-ARC for the finale of this series.
The Artefacts of Ouranos series is one that I was instantly obsessed with from the beginning. The series only became better and more complex for me with each book.
The biggest worry for any reader is that the final book in a series doesn't live up to their expectations or the rest of the series. I am happy to report that Nisha absolutely nailed the finale!
Tale of The Heart Queen is full of excitement, intrigue, danger and every emotion. At times I had to put it down only to have a breather from the excitement or worry.
The characters continue to grow, and some you never thought would ever change at all.
Buckle up, readers, and enjoy a very satisfying conclusion to a very exciting and emotional journey.

Book 4 in the Artifacts of Ouranos series, Tale of the Heart Queen, takes us on a journey of despair, hope, laughter, and tears.

I LOVE how this story wrapped everything up. There was so much struggle and growth for Lor and Nadir, but also to watch the side characters in their change and acceptance of their lives directions was incredible!

Gabriel is still one of my favorite characters ever. He's just so... HIM. And Tyr. Oh, sweet Tyr. There was resolution for everyone and I'm just so happy for them.

HIGHLY recommend this series. Get started now, as this book will release in November and you want to be ready for it!

Thank you so much to Nisha J. Tuli and her team at Forever for letting me review an ARC of this incredible book!

This was by far my most anticipated book release of the YEAR. I finished Fate of the Sun King and immediately needed this book. Out of every fantasy I’ve ever read, this is my #1 series. The characters are so complex, the storyline is so gorgeously put together, with just enough mystery to keep you on your toes and hooked. Everything wrapped up so beautifully at the end, and through my tears, I finished the book. Nisha will always be one of my favorite authors because of the way she tells her stories in such a special way. I cried, I laughed, I told my friends all about it. Recommending this series to all my friends ASAP.

Overall this series was a wonderful ride! I have enjoyed the world building and especially the character Gabriel. However, I did find this last book a little predictable, not a fatal flaw but a little disapointing.

Nisha J. Tuli could give a master class on completing a series. Tale of the Heart Queen is the perfect ending to an absolutely stunning series, leaving no loose ends and giving our beloved (and not so beloved) characters the endings they deserve.

This may be the highest stakes book yet, and that is saying something! Lor, Nadir, and Gabriel still cannot catch a break, and now some of the events of the past that they wanted to brush off and not think about, they have to face head on. Gabriel's story focuses on the events that took place in Fate of the Sun King and picks up exactly where it left off, with a giant headache and a lot of recovery to get through. Meanwhile, Lor and Nadir have to figure out how to survive their ending from FOTSK and eventually make their way back to each other, knowing they are better together and will accomplish more together. There is a lot of grief, trauma, and forgiveness in this book, and no stone goes unturned leaving no mysteries at the end. Even our side characters see a lot of action, and are given endings, and for that I am grateful.

I do not reread many books, and usually never series. This is a series I WILL reread in the future and I am already excited to, just thinking about it. While we will miss Ouranos, I am excited to explore Tuli's other titles. I recommend this series to all romance and fantasy readers, and anyone who wants to try romantasy. If you've enjoyed Sarah J. Parker and Carissa Broadbent, you need to read Nisha J. Tuli ASAP!

This was absolutely spectacular- I did not want it to end! Everyone’s story was wrapped up seamlessly and got the endings they deserved. The writing was exquisite as always and I felt like I was there with the characters. The story progressed at the perfect pace and moved between POV seamlessly. I didn’t want the story to end but my heart was so warm and full when reading the ending!

I’m so sad to leave this series but this was the perfect way to wrap everything together.

The story picks up right where we left off (thank you Nisha J Tuli for ending our suffering) and the chaos never ends. There’s so many big full circle moments, tie ins from the past books, and reveals that kept me hooked the whole time. The switches in POVs fit perfectly and I love how it wove the story together. It’s hard to conclude a series but this was so well done and fit perfectly for them.

Here are a few of my favorite things…
- an FMC in her revenge era? Yes please. So often it’s the MMC and we love that but Lor deserved this moment
- the sprinkle of wholesome moments throughout the book got me right in the heart every time. It was great balance of action and tender moments
- lol another soap moment we all wanted
- mate bonds just get me every time
- so many perfect family and friend moments

Overall, this felt like the perfect conclusion to a great series.

Would I recommend? Yes!

So sad their story is over but it was the best ending to a book series I’ve ever read. I’ve been so impressed with how the story continues to develop into each book but all the way through to the end. The twists and turns continues to happen and in such a great way! Anything by this author: Nisha J Tuli is wonderful!

What is there to say apart from I am devastated this series is over? Nisha has created a world I’m heartbroken to leave and know I’ll revisit soon!

Tale of the Heart Queen is the perfect ending to one of my top tier romantasy series. While I loved Lor and Nadir’s story here, I also loved the other POVs that were able to shine through. These other perspectives really rounded out the world and gave us a view into the motivations of characters I wasn’t expecting.

As soon as this ARC hit my kindle, I dropped everything to read it. Well worth it, too! Lor, Nadir, Gabriel, and the rest of the gang delivered in this incredible last book of the series. There were so many beautiful callbacks that brought the series full circle and the stakes were higher than ever. I absolutely adored the insights we got into characters from previous books and their motivations too. Having Rion's POV was a fascinating choice and one I think elevated the book and series to a whole other level for me. It was incredible to see the character relationships come full circle and see everyone come into their own. I seriously can't believe this series is actually over--I could read about these characters and this world forever! I can’t wait for this book to hit shelves!

After finding the first book in May I quickly made my way through the first 3 books and was devastated that I'd have to to wait until November to find out what happened after the heart stopping cliff hanger of Fate of the Sun King.

To my surprise, and joy, I was able to read an Advance Reader copy of the book through NetGallery and was not disappointed! I think most readers will be happy with the conclusion to the series.

Tale of the Heart Queen was full of adventure and spice like we've come to expect and the new POV introduced in this book helped explain more of the history of the world and why certain characters ended up the way they did.

I enjoyed all the callbacks to the previous books and felt that most characters and plot points were wrapped up quite nicely. Am I sad to be done the series, yes, but I finished the book satisfied

Good god… Nisha I LOVE YOU

First of all, I want to brag on what an incredible writer Nisha is and what an intoxicating and incredible story she has created. I am sad it has come to an end but WHAT AN ENDING. I am SO thankful for this ARC and so glad I have read this series. I look forward to what is to come from Nisha!

WOW, I cant even begin to say thank you for the opportunity to read this arc. I felt like I was sitting at the edge of my seat the whole entire time. Nadir and Lor .. ugh their love and relationship just truly gets me. I really love how protective Nadir is, I also liked the obstacles they had to face in this book. It was so interesting and I could actually picture these scenes vividly in my mind by how well described they were. The ending *chefs kiss* this was everything I didn't know I needed and it was so nicely executed. Nisha, this series was utterly amazing and I feel content with how it ended. Thank you so much again!

This fourth and final installment of the Artefacts of Ouranos series was in my opinion the best of the books and a perfect conclusion for the series. I enjoyed following Lor in this final part of her journey and getting to better know and see the development of some of the other characters (Tristan, Willow, Gabriel, etc.). While as an avid fantasy reader I did feel some of the plot was predictable, it didn't take away from my overall enjoyment of the book.

If, like me, you had *feelings* at the end of the Fate of the Sun King, I'd definitely recommend sticking with the series and reading Tale of the Heart Queen--it was worth the wait!

Amazing conclusion to a stunning story. This book picks up right where that wild cliff hanger left us in book 3. It was beautiful. Tons of intense magic and fast paced. It was amazing. Lots of storylines going on. I don’t want to give specifics because it will give away the ending of book 3. I love this series so much. Nisha is amazing. I am so greatful I got a copy of the ARC. I don’t want this series to end so I’m happy and sad at the same time. Daddy Nadir is all I’ll say.

I enjoyed Fate so much, so I was really looking forward to reading Tale! Although I still enjoyed the book, I have found the story to be going a bit stale now that we're on book 4. I hate to say that, because I honestly enjoy this series so much and part of me wants it to just keep going... But I can't ignore the fact that I read a different series in between Fate and Tale and I found it really hard to get back into the world of Ouranos. I felt a bit disconnected and it really hindered my overall experience while reading Tale...
However, the story itself is honestly great and I still really enjoyed it and would definitely recommend this series as a whole.
Book 4 is over 200 pages longer than Book 1, and I noticed that each book gets longer and longer. Which does make sense in a way, but I think it would have benefitted this series immensely if each book was around the same length. I think there's a lot of filler. Book 1 and 3 have been my favourites thus far.

This book was action PACKED. So much happened—yes, it tied up all the storylines left from previous books, but it also brought up new plot points and still tied them up in a neat bow. Overall, I thought it was a satisfying conclusion to a great fantasy-romance series, but I felt that it easily could have been broken up into two separate books (and therefore had some storylines, especially the main storyline at the end of the book, expanded upon). I’d be thrilled to revisit the world of Ouranos again in the future—there are plenty of side characters that could benefit from a spin-off!

Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for an ARC, in exchange for my honest opinion.

Thank you to NetGalley for providing a digital ARC of Tale of the Heart Queen in exchange for an honest review. All opinions are my own, and I have provided a link to my review on Goodreads.

Tale of the Heart Queen left me pleasantly surprised with how the story came to a close and, despite the fact that I don't think this installment reached the same heights the first two did, it was an improvement on the most recent addition to this series. You get to follow Lor in the aftermath of the Fate of the Sun King ending, which leads you into an interesting piece of this world, and from there, there are a good handful of turns in the plot that kept me engaged and interested in where these characters would go next. Most of what I found underwhelming in Tale of the Heart Queen had to do with underutilized elements of the story that I wasn't happy with and certain plot points that fell flat for me. For instance, based on the expectations I had for these characters after reading about them for three novels, there were a few that I felt were not properly utilized or explored in this final journey like I wanted them to be. The climax and overall conflict in Tale of the Heart Queen also wasn't exactly where I thought it needed to go, and it left me feeling like there was a slight dissonance in tone between the issues these characters were facing and how those issues were resolved.

That being said, my enjoyment of this last installment in the series wasn't entirely damped by these issues. The writing kept me connected to the characters so I not only cared about how their relationships were changing as they developed but I was also invested in whether they would succeed or not. That led to a satisfying conclusion, despite my opinion that the conflict could've been more nuanced so the overall plot felt the same. The pacing was a vast improvement when compared to Fate of the Sun King as it felt like things were actually happening--in other words: this was a fairly eventful book. It isn't as fast-paced and action-packed as others in the genre, but it didn't feel like the characters were ever standing still for long, and it didn't seem as though things were always happening to them rather than them having an active role in the story.

Overall, the emotionality was there, the plot arc provided a strong enough ending for these characters, and I got what I wanted out of this conclusion. Could it have been more in-depth, lore-filled, and complex? Sure, but that's never been the style of this series, and I think Tale of the Heart Queen ultimately did these characters and this plot justice. I'll certainly be coming back to reread the novels now that I know the final novel didn't ruin the whole thing.
