A very cute enemies to lovers set in the world of publishing. It does lean toward a miscommunication trope, but is really Andie’s refusal to work through her grief after her father’s death and process any hard situation. I do like that her growth to dealing with that and the situation between her and Jack was no magically solved, but that she did do some of the hard work to process and be ok. I do wish we had gotten more of Jack’s point of view rather than only at the very end.
