I got this one off of netgalley and honestly? I was surprised by how much I enjoyed this one. I totally did not see any of this coming so I was pleasantly surprised after reading it.

I don't want to delve too much into the plot of this book because I think going into this one blind would make for a better reading experience. Just be aware that it is a paranormal book and that crazy shit will happen, so if that isn't your cup of tea than I suggest steering clear of this one.

So, why not five stars? Whilst I loved the writing and the twists and turns revealed, I did think the beginning was a bit confusing, even though it probably added overall to the supernatural and spooky feel of the book. I did wish the relationship between the two mc's could have developed a tiny bit more but overall was happy with what was given. Really pleased with this read and definitely going to keep an eye out for other works from this author!
