I got to 38% two days ago and have felt no desire to pick it back up and finish it. I feel like if I’m this close to being halfway done, I should feel a bit more inspired. Instead it’s bringing past resentments for me.
Writing is not horrible and this is partially my fault; I don’t think I realized it was a memoir.
