When I finished the previous book, I was still undecided about how I felt about it. It was okay, but there was nothing that stood out for me enough to make myself “like” the book. So when I saw this story was available, I thought maybe it would help increase my interest in this world. Unfortunately, it didn’t work out that way. I still found some of the elements of the story lacked development and/or their execution felt off.

I’m just going to file this one as a “not for me” read.

Misappropriate was a good follow up to Misled. I loved getting more of Meghan and Outlaw's story. This one may be shorter than the first book but it is not lacking in action, suspense or sexiness, that is for sure. I can't wait to read more of this series in the future.
