This was so good!! I can definitely see the links to Saltburn with how Maya was in a rags to riches situation. I loved the family secrets aspect and the plot in this case moved a little quickly for my taste, right at the climax you get this big reveal and the the book is all of a sudden just wrapped up. I would've liked to see that drawn out a tiny bit more vs what we got. But i loved getting Maya's character growth, I just wish we also got to see more of the Sterlings besides Gigi.

Yikes...I am having a hard time coming up with a single thing I liked about this book. About 10% was interesting and the other 90% was SO dull. To make matters worse, all of the characters were insufferable and the "big twist" was obvious from very early on in the story. Truly, the only thing I liked was being done reading it. I would definitely recommend passing on this one.

This thriller is a masterclass in suspense, blending the high-stakes drama of extreme wealth and power with an intricate plot of secrets and betrayal. The writing crackles with intensity, drawing you into a world where every twist and turn reveals new layers of intrigue. The characters are compellingly flawed, and the tension builds to a thrilling climax. A gripping and unforgettable read that keeps you on the edge of your seat. I highly enjoyed it.

The cover is so pretty but don`t let that fool you. This book has some twists in it and it for sure a thriller. I love rich people, secrets and them being locked in a house so this book was totally for me!

This book has EVERYTHING. A family of billionaires! An ancestral estate! A murder! Reality TV! And somehow it all comes together in a way that not only makes sense, but feels inevitable. While I could have done without some of the long diary excerpts (and, honestly, would have loved for the story to have been pulled off without them altogether), there were plenty of twists to keep me guessing. I wouldn't say any more for risk of spoiling the plot, but if this cover grabbed your attention (and it should — it's gorgeous), then you will love this book.

I enjoyed this book quite a bit!

I found myself concentrated and invested in the main characters journey, and all the mysteries wrapped up in the story.

I think this would be better during a reread, as all the hints for the mystery’s will jump out more and be an “AH HAH” type of moment!
