New English Interiors is a beautifully put together book. The images are vibrant and engaging, and the layout flows seamlessly, making it a pleasure to look through.
Were the rooms to my taste? Not exactly, the word "gaudy" comes to mind, and for some readers, that may be part of the appeal. When one thinks of English homes, this is certainly not the traditional picture that springs to mind. Yet, as bold and extravagant as the designs are, the eclectic mix works surprisingly well and keeps your interest throughout.
There was not a room I felt like skipping, and the concepts behind each design were just as intriguing as the images themselves. While I would not personally replicate any of the rooms in full, there are plenty of creative ideas to draw inspiration from within this imaginative collection.
Thank you to NetGalley and Quarto Publishing Group | White Lion | Frances Lincoln for providing an advanced copy.

This was a fun book full of beautiful photos of the interiors of English homes. I really enjoyed perusing this book, and I would recommend it to any fans of art, photography, and interior design. Thank you NetGalley and the publisher for the ARC.

Utterly gorgeous, I would recommend for fans of Mario Buatta, David Hicks etc. A feast for the eyes and would be beautiful in print.

New English Interiors is a collection of eclectic and unusual updates and changes to English interiors. The book contains numerous photographs depicting some of the new looks.

I know a lot of people enjoy new, modern interiors but I loved seeing the way designers used the quirks in their homes to decorate. As an American I don't often get a chance to see the interior design inside the homes of those who reside in other countries. I loved seeing the way fabric, wallpaper, and COLOR was used inside these homes and it's got me itching to redecorate my whole house.

If you’re someone who appreciates the art of layering textures, playing with color, and curating a home that feels deeply personal, New English Interiors will be a source of constant inspiration. The creatives featured in this book remind us that design isn’t about following trends but about expressing who you are and letting your personality guide the way. This book celebrates the beauty of imperfection, of homes that aren’t meant to be static or polished, but rather lived in and evolving.

One of those books that makes you sigh and wish you had plenty of money. Beautiful pictures, an interesting book
Highly recommended.
Many thanks to the publisher for this ARC, all opinions are mine

This was such a beautiful read to be able to explore these interiors. It has definitely given me tips on how to transform my space to be more my own as I look to reset and change my living space.

So grateful to have had the chance to see and share in the beauty these designers create! Such a beautiful and inspiring book!

This is MY kind of decorating book! Color, color, color - and LOTS of STUFF. The designers here LOVE vivid colors, lots of pattern, tons of pictures on the wall, and oh, so many knick-knacks. I've died and gone to heaven! Every room is warm and cozy, and very inviting. Let me put the tea on, and grab a book from one of those shelves.
If you like white interiors that feature only one framed painting per wall, and metal framed furniture that looks like it belongs in a dentist's office, you'll be wanting to avoid this book.
Everyone else - settle in, and set your mind to dreaming.

Beautiful book with nice, colorful interior decorations. Loved to see people’s home and the way they were decorated. A great book for people who love interior decorating, or just like to look at pretty photos of great decorations..

New English Interiors : At Home with Today's Creatives. This is a wonderful book brimming with amazing pictures. The styles are mixed, both old and new, and the whole book is a joy to browse through. Perfect for anyone wanting ideas for their home, and would make a lovely gift.

This book gives 22 case studies on new English interior design, The examples are carefully selected to be both elegant and practical. Each case study is explained through a lot of photos. Also, we can learn about the backgorund of the design, such as the initial condition of the house and what practical function the designers want to add to the house. People can find lots of inspiration on interior design in the book.

What an appealing book. The photography is excellent and conveys elegance yet comfort. The profiles of the designers are informative and lend an understanding to their designs. a must read for those interested in design concepts.

This is a lovely coffee table book. The pictures are taken for the book, not library pictures so it is very up to date. The people featured in the book are all people who are influencing the world of interiors now and the photos are excellent. There is a brief interview with each of the featured home owners - they are not all interior designers, followed. by a good selection of photos of their houses. I have heard of a lot of the people included, many I already followed on instagram, now I follow quite a few more of them. The book feels very modern and fresh.

I really liked this! The layout of the photographs were perfect for the style of the interiors (which I’m obsessed with). The little articles for each person/partners were the perfect length for a book like this as well.

This gorgeous coffee table book is great design inspo for artists and creatives. They cover a range of styles and the spaces feel unique, eclectic and lived-in—in the best way possible. There’s lots to see here for those who love layering color, texture, and pattern. Not quite maximalism, but the kind of home where you can see the curatorial impulse is just simply things this creative person loves and is drawn to. And that’s the kind of home I want, so it was a perfect fit for me and an inspiration read. The colors and photos are gorgeous and the book would make a lovely gift for quirky, creative types trying to find their style.

A very inspiring look into homes that mix a classic background with a modern and eclectic style. The different stories of the home owners were quite intriguing too and this is certainly a book that I would pick up over and over again just to look at the beautiful photographs.

A beautiful coffee-table book for anyone who likes bohemian interiors, joining the modern to the ancient with high contrast colours, particularly sunshine/coral, avocado green/cobalt/pink.
I enjoyed looking at those various interiors from British creatives, probably because I am in the phase of renovating my home and personalising it.
There is definitely a lot of character and individuality in all those more maximalist homes, but it's funny to also see very similar threads and how a lot of them would very much fit together in one home.
The photography is beautiful, and the brightness of all the shots particularly stood out. While I expect beautiful lighting from Australia, I had expected darker shots from England, and I was pleasantly surprised to see all this light.

A lovely book with so many beautiful rooms and inspiration! I partially love the many bookshelves used in these rooms, and the old charming style British homes have. Lots of pictures and fun decorating ideas and plenty of colors and trends. I would love this as a coffee table book in my home.
Thank you to the author and publishers for this arc,
