I received an advance reader copy of this book to read in exchange for an honest review via netgalley and the publishers.

Social Skills for Teens with Anxiety is a fantastic self-help book for teens focusing on anxiety and how to take control of it and stop it hindering you, making friends, and enjoying social situations.
The book starts off with a welcoming introduction, notes on how to use the book, and the different types of anxiety disorder.
The book then moves onto divided sections such as socialising with anxiety, your personal starting point, challenging your thoughts, being your own best friend, talking, body language (and ears), putting skills into practice and taking care of yourself and others.
Each section is easy to navigate, and I would advise reading through each section in order. There's journaling activities to do in each section, such as listing things, identifying things, triggers, setting boundaries, and reflection questions.
This is one of the best books I've come across so far for supporting anxiety, and even as an adult, I found it very helpful.
I'll be purchasing this book for both my daughter who suffers from anxiety and myself.

As a mom with a preteen I found this book to be incredibly helpful. I think she will find it helpful when she reads it. I love the tools in this book and have already started using them to help her handle social situations.
