My thanks to NetGalley and Grove Atlantic/Grove Press for an eARC copy of this book to read and review.

DNF at 31%. The characters were all pretty horrible and while a fictional WWII show from the German perspective sounds intriguing, it ending up being too realistic and just depressing for me, considering they were fully on the side of the Axis powers and acted accordingly.

From reading other reviews, it seems that the characters don't have a redemption/life lesson arc and that is just too depressing for me, so I had to stop reading this.

Not the book's fault, completely me not clicking it with. Recommended for those who like to read abut WWII and aren't afraid of dark subject matter, actions and characters that aren't the most like-able. 2, could have been worse, stars.
