SARAH DOES IT AGAIN! She makes you fall in love with two characters, have no idea how they're connected, but you somehow don't exactly know how/if you even want them to end up together, all before throwing a massive plot twist/reveal and wrapping things up in the most loving bow. Fan for life if you can't tell.

A great ending to the "Ghosted" series. In this book we follow Max, and Anna, his housecleaner. But after a wish goes awry Max and Anna end up married, with Max having vague memories of it and Anna having none. It was really interesting watching this love story play out as they spend a good portion of the book trying to undo the wish. I loved this so much and the epilogue has a very special place in my heart. Not going to lie I definitely bawled at parts of this book. I look forward to reading whatever Sarah Ready does next!

Thank you to netgalley and the publishers for providing me with an arc for an honest review.

This was my first book from Sarah Ready and I was curious about it. The synopsis sounded so promising and I actually had a great time reading it.
The fact it has a bit of fantasy with Anna's wish just made it better. The insta love aspect wasnt a totally let down as I enjoy fast paced books for a comfortable weekend read.
I enjoyed Sarah's writing and the fact that it has small chapters. (It gives us the idea we are reading the book super fast xD)
I wasnt expecting it to be this spicy, so I would add two peppers.

This was so cute and so unique! I have never read a plot quite like this and I think it is the perfect addition to the author’s “Ghosted” series.

There is an insta-love element to this and I was a little worried it would turn me off but the author gives the characters time (and timelines!) to get to know each other.

This was just a really fun read. It wasn’t too serious and there were some genuinely funny moments. I definitely recommend to anyone who wants a light-hearted paranormal romance.

This was my favorite Sarah Ready book I’ve read! I loved the storyline, and I appreciated the layers of wishes and how they affected the story. If I were to recommend any Sarah Ready book, it would be this one!

Sarah Ready’s *Wished* presents a light and imaginative story about love, dreams, and unexpected realities. The premise—a house cleaner waking up to find herself magically married to a wealthy jewelry mogul—offers a playful twist on the classic "what if" scenario.

Anna’s belief in love at first sight and her devotion to a man she barely knows make her a compelling, if somewhat idealistic, protagonist. Max was hard to like at first but in the end I found them to be a good match.

Ready's writing is engaging and accessible, blending magical elements with relatable emotional struggles. While some moments lean heavily into the fantastical, the story maintains enough grounding to keep readers invested.

As is often the case, I dove into Wished by Sarah Ready with little prior knowledge. However, knowing it was part of the Ghosted series, which can be read as a standalone, piqued my curiosity.

The story follows Anna, Max’s house cleaner, who has quietly loved him for years. Oblivious to her feelings, Max remains distant until one day Anna makes a wish that changes everything. But the big question is: what comes of it?

The book was a delightful surprise, filled with whimsical moments that genuinely made me smile out loud (yes, literally!). Initially, I expected a sweet, light hearted romance with a sprinkle of playful banter. However, I was completely caught off guard, not by an abundance of spice, but by Max’s unexpectedly dirty mouth! This added a surprising layer to his otherwise polished, proper character.

The story is well written, with a nice flow that keeps you engaged. While there are a few minor plot holes, they don’t detract from the overall enjoyment of the story. If I had to nitpick, I’d say Anna’s repeated denial of Max’s love grew a bit frustrating at times.

The audiobook narration was enjoyable overall, but I would have preferred Will to voice Max’s part. Since the story primarily focuses on Anna’s perspective, this choice makes sense. However, with two narrators available, using both consistently would have enhanced the experience. Additionally, during the prologue, there were moments where Will’s delivery felt rushed, making it difficult to catch some of the words.

Overall, Wished is a charming and enjoyable read, with likeable characters, humour, and just the right touch of spice. It’s perfect for readers looking for a sweet story with a dash of unexpected sass.

Wished was such a cute read, reminding me of a good 90's romcom. A quick fun read. Anna wishes she was married to Max.
When she wakes up with it true she has to figure out if it's actually what she wants.
Can it be love if she's holding him against what he really wants?

Sarah Ready's romances are as captivating as her cover designs! WISHED had such a fun magical realism element to it -- I simply couldn't put this one down!

I wish I could figure this author out. Some of her books are fun and easy to read, while others tend to be more serious and drag on. This was a little easier to read than her previous book, but definitely had a more serious tone. In the end I thought this book was okay, but not a favorite of mine.

4.5 stars!

Anna Benoit works as a cleaner for Max Barone, who is a jewelry tycoon. She’s holding a Barone family necklace when she makes a wish to be married to Max. The following day, Max discovers that he has a wife of seven years and a rush of memories, but no actual recollection of falling in love and getting married.

Sarah Ready does it again and has become one of my favorite authors and this might be one of my favorite series ever! The plot was incredible and the dirty talk from Max was delicious. I loved seeing this relationship play out and the little Easter eggs that Sarah Ready threw in at the beginning (referencing Ghosted, Switched, and Fated…very clever!). I, now, plan on reading Sarah Ready’s entire backlist!

I liked Anna and Max’s story but this was my least favorite of the Ghost series books.

Wished empowered the strength of family heirlooms.

I did like Anna and Max together. Their connection was believable but could have been written better or stronger. I wish there had been more scenes before Anna made her wish. We didn’t really get to see how they interacted prior to the alternate timeline beginning.

I still love Sarah Ready’s writing style and I have absolutely loved this series. Wished just fall a little short of my expectations.

Wished was such a cute read, reminding me of a good 90's romcom. Although you think you know where things are going, Sarah Ready did a great job of keeping you on your toes and genuinely wishing for things to work out for Anna and Max.

The insta-love felt a little rushed and I would have loved more build up or tension, but with that being said, I enjoyed the whimsical whirlwind Anna and Max went through and the questions about what it really means to get what you wish for and what you would be willing to do to keep it. What if what you wished wasn't quite what you thought?

I didn't know this was part of a series, but I am already downloading the rest to catch up!

Wow. This book was absolutely amazing! I loved everything about this book from start to finish. I teared up I laughed. I cringed because let’s be real. Anna in the beginning of this book was so cringe lol. But seeing how this whole Uneeke story played out was absolutely amazing. This is definitely one of the top books. I’ve read this year And I can’t wait to go back and read the first three books in this series. The love that was in the book seemed so real raw and genuine. I couldn’t even handle it. Max and Anna are so perfect for each other. Side characters were also really great, they travel to Saint Tropez and Paris so it was a little bit of like armchair, travel. The story is also based in Geneva Switzerland, so the whole book was a great Armchair travel read.

I received this book for free from netgalley for an honest review. Thank you for the opportunity.

Is the new to me author but it definitely won't be the last book that I read from her. Great job and just a hint of spice to make it worth it.

Anna makes a wish ands ends up married to Max and they seem to have been married for several years from what she finds out.
The trouble is he didn't know who she was before.
The author shows how they got to where they are. Anna has always loved Max she cleaned for him and loved from afar.
The question is if this had been reality would he ever have noticed her? Can she live like this as she will never know if he would really have fallen for her if she hadn't made a wish.
I like this kind of story the author makes you put yourself in the characters position and think what would you do?
I zoomed through this book loved the characters.
Thanks to the publisher and Netgalley.

I read Wished a couple of weeks ago and it was absolutely wonderful!! It gave me all the feels.

I felt the pain of unrequited love. The heady swoop of falling in love. The heartbreak. The joy. The passion... I didn't want it to end! The chemistry between the characters was perfection!
I was sucked in from page one and couldn't put it down until I'd finished it... And when I did, I wished I could read it all over again for the first time! I enjoyed the rollercoaster of feelings so much. I even cried! And I'm not much of a crier!

Definitely give it a try if you like:
