This was fantastic. This gave me all the happy feels and made me want to pull out my Christmas tree. The narration was wonderful. Thanks to NetGalley and the publisher for the opportunity to read and review this audiobook.

Reads like a Hallmark movie in book form. A heartwarming exploration of three women’s fresh starts at a pivotal time in their lives.
An unexplained job loss has Riley heading home just weeks before Christmas to help her convalescing mom run her inn. The perfect time to rethink life’s choices, especially when she comes face to face with her teenage sweetheart.
Beth (Riley’s mom) is barely coping with a broken leg while running her inn. Her daughter’s visit home breathes fresh life into the business and provides the catalyst for Beth making the acquaintance of a dashing carpenter.
Widowed Franny has just buried her sister and is spending the Christmas season at the inn before returning home until an unexpected reunion with an old flame has her second guessing what comes next.
Three second chance love stories (though lighter on the romance with more of a focus on the journey to get there) at the most magical time of the year. I enjoyed the three perspectives of women of different ages and stages in life. And the inn makes a perfect setting for these holiday romances.
Stephanie Nemeth-Parker’s audio book narration made for a pleasant listening interlude. A lovely match for these characters and their stories.
My thanks to MacMillan Audio and Net Galley for providing me with an audio edition of this book.

I am a sap for love and Christmas! This is the perfect little Christmas book that has me ready to visit the Cape in real life.
I liked this book was set in current time, mentions current authors, artists, etc and is super relatable. I am a small-town girl who enjoys the simpler things in life and that is everything this book portrays.
It's a well written, attention-grabbing story.

This audiobook made me SO ready for the cozy holidays despite it being the middle of July! lol What a cute holiday romance with humor, lovable characters, and all the atmospheric vibes. I'm probably going to have to buy this in hard copy because it just has to go with my Christmas book collection!
Thank you to NetGalley for this ARC audiobook in exchange for my honest review.

This was my first Pamela Kelly book and I do not think it will be my last. Our main character moves home to take care of her mother who runs a bed and breakfast because her job was replaced with Ai. ( I believe this will happen more in the near future.) While helping her mother she is introduced to a whole inn full of people from different backgrounds. When the time comes to move back home and get a job, she does, working at her boyfriends workplace. But is it what she wants now. Does the city life she loves have the same pull? I loved the characters and the narrator was wonderful. Thank you #NetGalley for the ARC.

When Riley Sanders returns to her family home on the Cape to help her mother with her B&B, she is surprised to see her former love and his son staying at the inn. But, Riley has a boyfriend in New York City and loves the city life, so she doesn't plan to get involved with Aidan. There are other stories in this novel: widow Franny has just lost her sister and is deciding on her next steps; Riley's mom is not interested in dating but feels rather lonely. All of these stories collide at the inn, where Christmas is approaching and Riley and her mom try to make it a warm and happy place for the guests.
I liked this story, as it has multiple aspects and is quite heartwarming. A great holiday listen! Thanks to NetGalley and Macmillan Audio for providing an advance review copy of this audiobook. My opinions are my own.

This was a very cute, clean, and fluffy story. It was a good palate cleanser in between my typical thriller reads. I recommend it if you are looking for an easy, cute read that is sure to make you feel good. This is my first time reading a book by Pamela M. Kelley, and I look forward to reading more from her.

Pamela M. Kelley always writes such sweet stories. I love being at the Cape again and this puts me in the Christmas spirit. I just missed reading it in Christmas in July. I love that there was no cheating and a lot of adult talk. Like actual adults having real communication.

This audiobook was a lovely book filled with likable characters and multiple romantic and life changing storylines. Also, the setting of Christmas time on Cape Cod was a great backdrop for this enchanting book. A favorite of many Pamela Kelley’s books I have read. Give this a read no matter what the season.

I'm a big fan of Pamela M Kelley. Her books are so easy to get into. I also really enjoy Stephanie Nemeth-Parker as a narrator, I have listened to many.
The Christmas Inn is the perfect book for people that love Christmas Hallmark movies, just in book form. I am almost positive that there may be a couple Easter Eggs from other books as well. Some of the characters I could swear, I already knew.
Such a great story!
Thanks to NetGalley and Macmillian Audio for the chance to listen to an advance copy in exchange for an honest review.

Thank you NetGalley and Macmillan audio for the advanced copy of this audiobook. Just your feel good warm hearted holiday book. Christmas was not the focus of the story but neatly intertwined. Lost job right before Christmas, returned home, connected with high school sweetheart but also several warm tender stories but side characters keep the story going. I also need to go back to some of Pamela Kelley’s previous books because when she referenced other characters I think they are from previous novels. Not important to the plot just a fun connection. Put this on your Hallmark Christmas type books list. It’s a winner.

I love a good feel good Christmas romance story. This was fun and had romance for all ages. The characters are down to earth and likable. It is a great addition to Christmas reading lists.

I was lucky enough to be approved for the advanced reader copies of both the book and audiobook for The Christmas Inn. The narrator was great! It was great to be able to continue reading when I couldn't listen. This was a delightful story about a daughter who comes home to help her mom who got hurt. Her mom might also own an Inn that is in Cape Cod and of course it was Christmas time. She's able to help her mom at the Inn while trying to decided what to do now that she lost her job. Does she want to go back to NYC or stay in this sweet town where she is now building some relationships and she's realized how much she's missed it. I love Christmas books and movies and this one did not disappoint. I enjoyed the heartwarming ending and would hope that one day this becomes a Christmas movie. If you are like me and like these kinds of books you will love this one.
Thanks to NetGalley and the publisher.

The Christmas Inn is a beautifully written story of family and Chatham, Massachusetts-quintessential Cape Cod.
While navigating workplace issues, family challenges, and life detours we are treated to a wonderfully descriptive visit to the Cape in Christmas time. A beautiful escape!

The most darling Christmas book! Loved the characters, the details about food and the Hallmark movie feel!
Highly recommend picking this one up this holiday season.
Thank you NetGalley and the publisher for the ARC. Really liked the narrator!

Attention Hallmark, this book needs to be made into one of your Christmas movies pronto! This was a fun heartwarming book which gave you all the Hallmark holiday vibes. It's set in a charming Cape Cod town. We have a hot widower, a woman returning home after losing her job in the big city, an elderly woman on a quest set up by her recently passed sister. All these people are staying at the cozy inn over the holidays. There is a lot of hot chocolate and wonderful food porn.
Thank you to NetGalley and Macmillan Audio for the advanced listener copy. The narrator Stephanie Nemeth-Parker did a wonderful job, and her voice has that serene, cozy vibe the book has. If you are looking for a heartwarming holiday romance, The Christmas Inn will get you in the spirit.

What a delightful Christmas romance! Fans of Hallmark Christmas movies will get all the feel-good vibes. I loved that Pamela Kelley included three different generations with more than a casual mention. All three women were in a place of change and open to where things could go. I was more invested in Riley and her mother's storylines but really enjoyed Franny's. I won't go into the plot but you can read the publisher's synopsis. The Christmas Inn is just what I want in my Christmas reading.
Narration: Stephanie Németh-Parker did a fabulous job with the narration. Her various voices were easily distinguishable. I loved how she told Pamela Kelley's story and highly recommend going with the audio!

This book is a festive, holiday romance book with a little bit of romance for people of all ages .
Riley has lost her job just before the holidays and goes home to help her mum with the family Inn after learning her mother broke her leg. There are many small storyline with the friendly villagers and visitors of Cape Cod.
Though from time to time I found the book a bit preachy on different topics brought up in the story— but overall the book carried a magical feeling and was a cozy ,light read.
The Narrator was great with all the voices helped to drawn me into the story even more and helped me invest in the characters as they felt very individualistic.
Thank you to Netgalley and MacMillan Audio for this ALC. This is my honest review.

4.5⭐️ rounded up*
Talk about a sweet palette cleanser of a book!
I am thankful to have gotten the audioARC for free from Netgalley and Macmillan Audio so I can leave my voluntary and honest review.
This a straightforward cozy feel good book. Warning? Don’t read while hungry 😋 as food mentions are constant throughout.
It was a happy surprise that this took place on Cape Cod (I really need to start reading full descriptions). So if you’re a long time visitor or a local it’s fun to hear all the different real locations mentioned.
I listened to the audiobook and the narrator was pleasant to listen to and spoke at a great speed without any rate adjustments. She was consistent with her different voices and her vocals added to building the world in your mind.
If you’re looking for a sweet holiday, hallmark-esque experience that takes place on Cape Cod and filled with food and details of making said food, this book is for you!
My rating system since GoodReads doesn’t have partial stars and I rarely round up. I did round up in this instance. Not because it was a literary masterpiece or that I’ll read it over and over but in comparison to this type of safe feel good genre. So compared to other books that I typically enjoy, it wouldn’t be as high of a rating but I’m doing things a bit differently with this one.
⭐️ Hated it
⭐️⭐️ Had a lot of trouble, prose issues, really not my cup of tea (potentially DNF’d or thought about it)
⭐️⭐️⭐️ Meh, it was an ok read but nothing special
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Really enjoyed it! Would recommend to others
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Outstanding! Will circle back and read again

Riley loses the job that she loved right at Christmas time. Her mother has broken her leg and could use some help running her inn in Chatham (Cape Cod). So Riley heads there to help out and brings her business expertise to help attract more tourists to the inn. She's left her boyfriend in NYC because he's a lawyer on the partner track at his firm and he's always working long hours. She hopes that will lessen once he becomes a partner. Meanwhile she is searching for a new job that will bring her back to Manhattan.
There are people staying at the inn who are visiting short term, and there are a few who are there for longer stays because they have need for a temporary place to live. This story has old friends, former loves, people reliving their youthful joys. In Cape Cod, there are friends, solutions to problems, and fresh starts. The characters enjoy each other's company, wine, and eating out.
This is a perfectly fun read for the holiday season. It's everything Pamela Kelley fans expect from her books.
I had both the ebook and an audio copy of the book. The narrator did a wonderful job.
