I read the other previously published books of the "Arranged Hearts" series and knew Allure was not going to disappoint. The story was not 100% of what I was expecting but it was still realistic and gave hope as a single, black, plus size woman. Most of the arranged hearts series gives hope and will be easy for all readers to understand. My favorite quote of the book is when Lore's mother was giving her encouragement to let her know she was still the prize no matter how much she doubted herself. The quote is, "The way that man looked at you said everything that needed to be said in that moment. He remembered a single moment from years ago. Honey, that's not the vibes or impression of an ordinary woman. You're more than that." Iesha Bree thank you for making a realistic romance novel that will breathe life back into single women.

Lore Reed and Niko Lockwood have both come to a point in their loves that they want to live for themselves. They are both locking for that someone to make their world a little something more. And they want to do it on their own terms. I fell in love with both Lore and Niko. I loved the allure that was between them. I loved that the two of them had a prior connection. It was short lived but it was strong enough for them both to remember. I love that I could fall in love with them both. There was one supportive family and one not so much. There were things in the background that would be shared in due time. Family drama, life drama, and a passion that would make them both be willing to move heaven and earth to make it all work between them.

I would love a real life Arranged Hearts to be about. More love to share and spread would be wonderful.

I loved the narration and the chance to be introduced to a new author (to me). I fell in love with Lore & Niko Lockwood and will be putting their story on my repeat listen list.

This book I felt was a bit too short, since it is a surprise arranged marriage. Even with that, I still enjoyed it. The communication was there, the couple was adorable. They were obsessed with each other and I thought it was cute that they had met before a long time ago and somehow found each other.

Overall, great read. I am obsessed with this series.

I got an alc of this book on NetGalley. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

This was my 1st book by this author. I enjoyed the story of Niko and Lore, This book was cute, sweet with a bit of spice. This is a feel good book with minimal drama. The love that this couple had for each other was amazing. I had previously read this book in the series.
You were able to differentiate between characters and the spicy scenes were performed while Mari narrated. However Dylan didn’t seem to put as much effort into the characters as if he was just reading from the book and not performing. Dylan didn’t bring the characters to life as he was quite monotone.
The book I would rate 4⭐️
The narration of the book 3⭐️

Sometimes you just need a low-angst romance that is sweet, romantic, and easy. One where both parties are emotionally mature, and the story's conflicts are outside of the relationship itself. This was exactly that. The romance was sweet and spicy, and both the FMC and MMC were confident and communicative. No miscommunication trope here, rejoice!

The arranged marriage aspect of the book makes sense, which is hard to do in a contemporary romance. I believed their reasons for using the service and believed their connection.

Thank you to NetGalley and Dreamscape Media for an advanced listener copy of the audiobook. All opinions are my own and I am leaving this review voluntarily.

This series gets ‘betterer and betterer’

I love how spiritually centered they were as a couple.

Lores prayer for Niko was the best thing I have read in a while that alone was the best part to me.

Thank you Dreamscape and NetGalley

A quick sweet story. My favorite couple. Loved the married at first sight but also a slight second chance. Narration was astounding.

I enjoyed this book as much as the first in this series. It amazes me how these strangers were matched through a dating service and found true happiness and love.

Thank you to the author and NetGalley for gifting me this book in exchange for my honest review

I loved the parallels to this story + Married At First Sight— that’s one of my fave shows so the whole concept between both Lore + Niko signing up with Arranged Hearts to find them a spouse. I laughed a few times because I feel like how Niko’s dad responded is really how black parents would really respond had they not been on tv and maybe feel like they gotta keep it classy. 😂

Niko’s family— 🙄😵‍💫 I love that he didn’t allow them to shift his perspective now that he was married and wanted to really be all in it the right way. I truly disliked the way that they wanted him to brush off what his brother did, I can’t stand it when family don’t hold each other accountable for their actions.

All in all, I loved it. It was everything I want in a romance! It’s a little over 4 hours so it’s a quick listen when you’re looking for a short novella to binge.

Enjoyed this story! This is a quick, easy read, and the audiobook is great. The narrators Mari and Dylan Ford did a good job telling the story.

Lore Reed shines as a beacon of boundless imagination, her sculptures and paintings capturing the essence of emotion and beauty. Niko Lockwood, a legend on the football field, faces a crossroads as retirement looms and a new career beckons.

I like how they semi knew each other and had that little familiarity with each other.

The plot of a pro football player and an artist meeting through an arranged marriage set up by a matching agency sounds unique and intriguing. The fact that they only met at the altar adds an interesting twist. It's great that the story included trials for the characters to overcome without resorting to a typical third-act breakup. The family drama contributing to the couple's growth also seems like a compelling aspect.

This is my favorite couple in the whole series. I loved their dynamic from the beginning. Lore and Niko are perfect for each other. I've never read anything by Iesha Bree before and I will be sure to check out more of her work. As always, Mari was awesome as narrator. Dylan Ford takes some getting used to.

It was a really sweet book! I haven't read the others in that series but the concept was so fun and the book was pretty short so it's the perfect palette cleanser! The chemistry was lacking a little, their connection just felt quite shallow at times but other than that, it was a good time. I'd give it around a 2.5 stars I think?

This was such a refreshing story, I love how they had previously meet and because of Arranged Hearts they had the opportunity to reconnect. I also enjoyed how both of characters were in the mist of a transition for work and had each other to share that experience with. Both characters were so kind and supportive which made me fall in love with this couple. The narrators did a great job with embodying their personalities and keeping you engaged in the story.

Loved it, love the way the drama wasn’t based around the couple in this one and I loved the football elements . The actors did a amazing job making u feel like you were watching it unfold instead of reading
