This was my favorite Christmas read ever! It had everything I wanted in it. Family, romance, friendship, flirting, and spice. I have read all of the books by this author and they have all been five stars. I would recommend this book for any time of year because it was just perfection.

An entertaining & cozy holiday read which can be read as a stand-alone or as the third book in the Dream Harbor series. I really enjoyed the slower burn of this book (versus the first two in the series) and the characters felt more relateable and fully rounded in this novel as well. Looking forward to the next installments!

Dream Harbor continues to be a fictional town I wish I could visit! I loved that Jeanie’s brother, Bennett, was brought into the mix with a grumpy-sunshine romance worth swooning over. Bonus points that the FMC was layered, flawed, and had a decent arc separate from the love story. As a result, Bennett paled a bit in comparison, but I still felt he was an authentic character.
All our favorite Dream Harbor residents had their moment, and it was fun to see the story explore more pockets of the town. Similar to the first two books, there was a mystery element at play. However, it disappeared during the middle portion of the book before making a surprise appearance at the end. Personally, I didn’t feel it was necessary, though it was a sweet way for our MCs to bond.
This one checked a lot of boxes for me, especially in the holiday vibes department, and I’m excited to see what happens in book 4!

This is the cutest Christmas romance! I think it might me my new favorite in the series! I loved Kira and Bennett romance, and how slowburn it was compared to the previous books. The atmosphere was so cozy and perfect for the holiday season!

There’s some sorcery with this authors writing. She has sucked the world into her vortex and we can’t get enough of these small town masterpieces. Well done!

I absolutely enjoyed this book! It was a perfect Christmas time read. I think it was cute and cozy, and I would definately recommend this to those trying to get into a seasonable spirit. I think the author did an amazing job, and I can't wait for more. I highly recommend this one to other readers.
Thank you Net Galley, Harper 360 and Laurie Gilmore

Dual POV, a little spicy, slower burn than the previous two books.
I loved this! The first two books in the series were a little insta-lusty, but this one really worked for me. They don’t even kiss until the 50% mark. Kira and Bennett are such cuties. I adore the MMC.
Kira has bought the run down Christmas Tree Farm in town. She’s a former rich girl who is starting over. Bennett is visiting his sister for the holidays and gets sent by the town to “investigate” the rumors about what the previous owner may or may not have left buried at the farm. She’s grumpy, he’s sunshine.
I’m excited for the next 2 books coming this year in this series.
Thank you to the author, publisher, and NetGalley for my advanced digital copy!

This series exploded on the scene during the holiday season and I was intrigued. I am definitely a judge a book by its cover reader and this book really highlighted the flaws in that logic. This was wholesome don’t get me wrong, the small town feel full of independent owned and run shops giving all the Stars Hollow vibes. But the romance? Well, I was not expecting the level of spice these books offer and I am here for it.
A grumpy sunshine romance featuring a surly out of towner and a charming stranger visiting family for the holidays. This was the perfect cozy and surprisingly spicy read I needed this holiday season. I can’t wait to continue the series and check back in with Ben and Kira.

Just not for me… not enough character development or interactions even for me to believe in the romance of it all. I think I’m done with books by Laurie Gilmore :/

This was JUST the thing I needed over the holidays. Fun, light, and emotional. Highly recommend for cozy mystery fans. Already purcahsed for libraries.

Cute little Christmas romance novel, and out of the 3 in the series this one is definitely my favorite. She’s trying to venture out on her own unfortunately she bought a run down Christmas tree farm sight unseen. He was going from one relationship to the next and each one used him for his kindness. They slowly fall for each other as they build up the tree farm and business. After a snow day and a weekend of being stuck in the cabin together they both decide that they want more than friends with benefits.

I like a good reverse grumpy sunshine and this was it! Definately like a good christmas hallmark romcom movie with some good spice!

Real or fake Christmas tree? We did a real tree a couple of years with the kids which was fun, but otherwise, I have had a fake tree my entire life.
Kira North has bought an old Christmas tree farm in a small town in the Northeast. She is trying to determine where to go with life. Even though she hates Christmas, she decides to sell Christmas trees to make enough money to fix up her house. Bennett (Ben) Ellis meets grumpy Kira while walking his three dogs on her farm. Ben helps Kira with fixing things up on her farm. Will the two be able to move beyond their broken pasts to start a new romance?
My thoughts on this novel:
• It reminded me of a spicy Hallmark Christmas romcom movie.
• It was a cozy Christmas read that I enjoyed at the beginning of January.
• Kira was grump at first, but she really grew on me.
• Grumpy x Sunshine romance, forced proximity, slight enemies to lovers.
• This was a steamy romance with a lot of sweet romance and basically one really steamy scene.
• This was the third novel in the Dream Harbor series. I haven’t read the previous two books, but they are on my list. This worked as a standalone, but I think I would have enjoyed the side characters even more if I knew their back stories.
Overall, The Christmas Tree Farm by Laurie Gilmore was a good romance with great characters, and it was a quick read.

Dream Harbor was my favorite series of 2024! I enjoyed spending time in this cozy, small town, it feels like home! I liked that Ben was introduced to us in a previous book, he is Jeanie's brother and came to Dream Harbor for a visit during the holiday. He meets Kira, a new girl in town who has isolated herself from the town, she has any icy personality, bought a dilapidated cabin that she is struggling to repair, and owns a run down Christmas Tree Farm that she originally insisted that she wouldn't be re-opening, but with much encouragement from Ben (a fix it hero) she opens the farm, and the town is overjoyed. There's a snow storm (forced proximity) that allows Ben and Kira to explore their feelings for each other, they are both guarding their hearts, not expecting to fall in love. It's a cute, quick romance full of banter, spice, sweetness, a treasure hunt, adorable dogs, lovable characters, and a very joyful ending (the best ending of the series). I am looking forward to reading the next book in the series. This was easily a five star read, very festive and Hallmark vibes, highly recommended. I can't wait to go back to Dream Harbor!

3.5 🌟 This is the 3rd book in the Dream Harbor series and I probably liked this 1 the most. I like Christmas setting and this crazy town. I always enjoy reading series because I like that we get continuations of the characters' stories we read earlier. It makes the world and series feel more familiar and makes it fun to read. Another easy, seasonal read!
Thanks to NetGalley for an ARC of this book in exchange for a honest review.

This is my 2nd read in this series. I love the characters, the humor and just the right amount of "spice" Looking forward to more...

If you’re a big dog lover like me and are considering reading this book, please know at 87% in the MMC mentions stowing his dog beneath the plane in cargo containers (that he also makes them be in for the drive to the airport). That immediately ruined the book for me. Especially since the MMC is described as a golden retriever and I know a REAL golden retriever wouldn’t let his fellow men down like that 🙅🏻♀️🐶
It was a cute story line, overall, but it took me two weeks to read it because I wasn’t totally hooked on it. Very Hallmarky.

I was looking forward to Kira and Becketts story! I loved their cameos leading up to this book! Of course like the others, has the small town hallmark feel. Cute little Christmas read! It’s by far my favorite of the series so far!

Sweet little holiday romance novel with some spicy scenes; exactly what you would expect from this book and maybe hope for as a holiday read. This one is great if you have not read the previous books also as it could be a stand alone.

This is a great time and everything you could want from a small town spicy holiday romance.
