My son loves dinosaurs and he loved when I read this book to him. I highly recommend for other parents, either to read to your kids or get for them to read and add to thier collection

I wasn't able to open the book! I tried everything on both my phone and my computer. I'm not sure why.

This was literally the most adorable book! I actually read it with my grand-babies (ages 4 and 6) to get their reaction. They were giggling the whole time! There are so many things you can do with your pet dinosaur! When we finished the book, I asked them what their favorite part was. Both said, “When the dinosaur ate the bad grade!” The story ends alluding to another book possibly in the series, but with a kangaroo perhaps? I would recommend this book to friends with young children or grandkids, and also to teachers in lower elementary grades. I received an arc copy of this book from NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.

This was so fun. I read this with my 6 and 7 year old girls and they loved it. The illustrations were very funny. Great open ending!

We had so much fun reading this beautifully illustrated dinosaur book. Think of all the fun things you could do with a dinosaur at home. It could help you outside as well as inside, but you better think about how and when to use it.

Cute book that inspires children to use their imagination while thinking about what dinosaurs can and cannot do as well as which dinosaurs would be good at certain jobs. The illustrations are very cute and playful and show many types of dinosaurs.

I love a cartoon-ish, pencil-heavy, illustration. This book was so cute and fun! I'd recommend it for a child that loves funny books, dinosaur books, or a parent looking for a picture book to read to their child. Had a great level of whimsy. :)

It was such a cute book that had my students laughing out loud. Perfect for our study on the Letter D. I also loved the illustrations. I would definitely recommend this book to all young learners.

Absolutely adorable art style throughout this book. I love how big and bright the dinosaurs are. This would work well for a storytime reading for multiple children. I also like how clear the font reads and the styling to go with the illustrations. This has me very interested to look into other books by this author/illustrator.

A silly book that brainstorms the many uses for dinosaurs in every day life. They can care for the yard, clean the house, and watch the baby. Each dinosaur has a different strength and weakness. Your little dinosaur lovers will enjoy this book and probably come up with some genius uses for dinosaurs not mentioned.

Such a classic! If You Happen to Have A Dinosaur is the type of fun and beautiful story that children request to read night after night. I love how the art is approachable, and I will always opt for a book where children are able to use their imagination time and again. The opportunities are endless with this one, and it is a definite favorite!

This must be a new edition of this book because I know we have gotten this book from the library a few months ago. Needless to say, very cute read and adorable pictures. My kids enjoyed this one.

This was a cute book. I loved the imagination that was used throughout the book that one could use a dinosaur from a kite to a can opener. I just loved the imaginative route this book took! Great for kids!
The illustrations were good. Not great in my honest opinion.

If You Happen to Have a Dinosaur is a book that my toddler has read before at daycare, but now will be in paperback! I love when books offer a paperback version because the cost is typically more accessible to all families.

I love the way the author conveys all the different ways a dinosaur could and couldn't be useful. I think young kids (2-8) would find this book really funny and engaging. The dinosaurs are in all different shapes, sizes, and colors which can be fun teaching moments for kids.

I do wish there was a little more ethnic diversity in the human characters that were pictured although different body shapes and hairstyles were prominent and really nice to see! I also recognize the book focuses on one family so the characters mostly reflect one race.

If You Happen to Have a Dinosaur is a super fun and funny book about ways you could use a dinosaur to help you with your chores and other tasks. The illustrations, style, and humor remind me of "When Dinosaurs Came With Everything." Dinosaur and humor lovers will eat this one up. The illustrations build suspense and make the story even more fun and light-hearted. This would make a great read-aloud to any class and a great addition to any library. Grab this one for a classroom, school, or public library that serves Pre-k-3. Highly recommend!
