Thank you to NetGalley and Thomas Nelson - Fiction for providing me with a copy of this book to read and give my honest review. The opinions expressed here are my own.
I had no idea this was book 3 when I requested and got accepted to read it. So I had to go back and read the other two. This cannot be read on it's own as you need the world building and background from the previous books to understand the relationships and what is going on.
It's hard to review a third book when others may be reading the review because there may be spoilers.
Overall, I enjoyed the series enough but it had to much focus on G-d for me, to be honest. When I went back to look, I saw it was rated as a Christian Fiction, which I don't read. But I love dystopia and science fiction so I persevered.
The world is fairly well done. The characters are developed and relatable thought the romance (love triangle) wasn't my favorite. I wanted to be more invested in the relationships but I was not.
There's action and som surprising twists that kept my interest enough. But the pacing was slow and I felt like the book stalled a lot throughout. Not my favorite dystopian read by far.
