Great collection of excerpts. I read a lot of romance and fantasy so this is a great way to get a sneak peak of some great upcoming books in those genres and see how I'm going to like them. Also good way to find new authors and very convenient add on to the request link at the end of some of these excerpts.

Excellent selection of samples, some from authors I’ve already read and some new ones for me to discover - not that my out-of-control TBR list needs the additions, but I’m hardly going to complain!

This is definitely a wonderful initiative by Netgalley and We Are Bookish as it gives us an idea or rather some sort of samplers about the upcoming books that will be published in the market. As a reader and a consumer, this is a good tool to make a well-informed decision about what books to buy especially if you are on a budget. For ARC reviewers, this is also a good tool as this kit has a compilation of excerpts that you can read first before you decide to request the galley. It can save you a lot of heartaches and time esp. if you have chosen a galley that is not to your liking but you're forced to finish it.

The only downside of this is that requesting the galleys using the links provided in this kit is not a guarantee that you will get approved. As a matter of fact, the request buttons are not even available for all the galleys that I've requested. There's only the wish for it button and the universe knows how sucky my luck is.

Anyway, I hope Netgalley will also publish something like this for Adult SFF. Thanks.

This was a diverse collection of excerpts from multiple genres, publishers, and authors. They included several LGBTQIA+ novels in different genres. It's easy to request a book if you're interested, there's a link at the end of every excerpt along with information about the publisher and other pertinent information. I'm already looking forward to next seasons preview.

I loved being able to sample some new books that I wouldn't have thought to try before. It opened my eyes to a lot of new, very talented authors that I am excited to read more from!

I think my favorite is BK Borison’s First-Time Caller, but there’s quite the breadth. I enjoyed the regency selection, Sabrina Jeffries’ Hazardous to a Duke’s Heart, and there’s even a sample of Swordcrossed by Freya Marske! Really something for everyone. I am excited to read more of these.

This is a great collection of samples that allow one to have a glimpse into several books before committing to a specific one. I always enjoy reading samples of books I'm interested, and even those I am not. I've found several books I wouldn't have been likely to consider after reading an excerpt/sample of it.

I always enjoy getting a preview of upcoming books and finding books I hadn't heard about that I'm excited to read. My favorites in the collection were:

i requested this to read the first 2 chapters of "first-time caller" by b.k. borison, and i can't be more excited! she's one of my favorite authors ever and her series "lovelight" is genuinly one of my favorite book series ever and i'm really hoping i get accepted for the book arc!

This is such a smart marketing idea! I was familiar with a few authors listed in the compilation already but I’ve now added a handful more to my never ending TBR list! I will definitely keep my eyes peeled for these in the future!

Love this idea! Clued me into the titles of some exciting new romances! A must read for everyone who wants to stay on top of current trends and releases in the world of happily ever after!

This was a great compilation of romance books coming out soon! I was the most excited to read a few chapters of First Time Caller (which did not disappoint), but I also discovered some new titles and authors that I am very excited about and rushed to request.

Okay so I just absolutely blew through this looking for books that are coming out here soon and found this list to be a tad underwhelming. I am super excited that I got an early peek at B.K. Borison's new book First-Time Caller, that excerpt made me want to read it even more and it's a travesty that we have to wait until FEBRUARY to get it.
