I enjoyed the sports romance part of this novel and The main male character, Miles, was likable and relatable. However, I disliked the female main character, Ellie, she felt very needy and entitled to me. So I struggled to get into this novel even though it was an audiobook. I also felt like 270 pages is really short for a romance to develop characters, play out the love story and do a good job with the "conflict" that the characters will get over.

I’m loving this “More than a Game” series! Sports romances are my last obsession and glad we are branching out and getting a variety of sports.
Ellie and Miles were adorable together! The flirting and banter, terrific! I was so happy to see more from Sutton and Shaw and the rest of the guys.
I’m so happy this was dual narration. It just adds a little something extra special to the production. The audio was great and I had no trouble listening clearly at an accelerated speed.
Looking forward to more from Annah.

4/5 Swoony, sweet and tension filled. Epic banter in this workplace romance. Loved when he was standing up for her. Well narrated for both parts.

3.5 rounded up
A sweet, smalltown, dual POV, kissing only sports romance between a pro golfer and his new assistant that is perfect for fans of books like Summer ever after by Kortney Keisel and Tessa Bailey's Fangirl down. The chemistry between the two leads was sizzling and there's very relatable toxic parental relationship rep. This was good on audio and I'm excited for the next book in Annah Conwell's More than a game series. Many thanks to NetGalley and the publisher for an early audio copy in exchange for my honest review!
