this was such a pleasant, enjoyable read. i've always been a huge fan of mofusand so this was even more exciting for me, i love the mofustagram, the hashtags were very adorable, my personal favourite was #arewechic? 😭🫶🏻 it was illustrated very well, i also loved how much you can learn about japanese culture through this, PLEASE DON'T READ THIS ON AN EMPTY STOMACH, I WAS CRYING WHILE LOOKING AT ALL THE FOOD. the kitties all looked very cute while eating, i love the maid outfits LMFAOOO, such a great read, i want to buy the physical copy too <3

I spent every page nearly sobbing from how CUTE this is. This is pure serotonin fuel, each page made me giggle or smile or coo, because it’s just so freaking adorable. The art of the kitties is almost reminiscent to me of those older golden edged picture books for kids, it’s got a soft palette and expressive facial expressions even though they’re almost all cats. This art collection is something that could make anyone smile, and I think so many of these little cats would make great stickers or even great inspiration for lil tattoos. Everything about this is fun and just so purrfect, my heart has been stolen

I was SO happy to get approved for the first Mofusand illustration book! I love Mofusand and cats, and this book was the cutest thing!

In Falling In Love With a Traveling Cat, we follow Mofusand cats on their trip around Japan. Each chapter is an activity, starting with packing! Because even the cute Mofusand cats cannot skip doing and undoing the suitcase! 🤭

I loved learning about Japan through this book as well. The cats wearing the different costumes from the different prefectures and trying out all the yummy food were so adorable. It was so interesting to see all the different costumes and dishes next to each other. I didn’t know about some of them at all!

I hope Mofusand cats can travel in France one day! 💓

This is a lovely read for anyone needing a little cheer-me-up.

Adorable and cuddly, this collection of cats is irresistable. I love all the different costumes for each area of Japan. There's a lot of low key humor in the illustrations as well. I'm not likely to purchase such a specific book for my library, but I will definitely buy it as a gift for several cat lovers in my life.

what an adorable book! I have been a mofusand fan for a while now since their first uniqlo collaboration. this book had the cutest illustrations of the mofusand cats doing various things related to travelling in japan! it also included little tidbits of text related to the illustrations as well. definitely recommend to anyone who loves mofusand and just cats in general!

I was really excited to get this ARC, thank you so much for the copy! I love Mofusand and this book is so cute, I will definitely buy a copy when it comes out (and possibly use it for story time at the library in the future). The illustrations are lovely and I really enjoyed the different sections with the cats dressed in themed outfits around regional food and landmarks. Not much of a story really, but I did enjoy it!

this was such a delight to read! i’m a huge lover of the mofusand hipper collection so i knew immediately when seeing this i had to give it a try. such lovely illustrations that are really true to the mofusand style
accompanied with simple text and some interesting information tidbits. recommend for cat lovers!

Just lovely illustrations, very soothing and cohesive colour palette. The type of book to keep at a coffee table to look at anytime you feel a little down.
Having cats doing human stuff isn’t necessarily my favourite type of art, but the cutesy watercolour like illustrations make your heart melt. Love the little hats and the section on the local Japanese cats (shown by prefecture) and the cats eating traditional Japanese food, was so lovely.

The illustrations are gorgeous! If there is a cat lover in your life, they would enjoy this book. The text isn't overly complicated, and I appreciate the information tidbits scattered throughout.

I love Mofusand! I had previously seen these adorable cat illustrations on stickers and on a mug one of my friends brought back from Japan, so I was thrilled to see a book. Falling in Love with a Traveling Cat is exactly what it seems: an adorable book of cats traveling and discussion of vacation activities. I enjoyed seeing the illustrations of the different foods because it helped me put a visual to names of dishes I had only previously heard about. I highly recommend this book for anyone with an interest in adorable cats.

The book is cute, but a bit too simple. The illustrations are adorable, but if I’m being 100% honest, I would never buy a book like this. I think the illustrations would be more suited for a different platform, like Instagram, rather than in a book.
