This was so much fun to read!

My six-year-old loves cats and knew I wanted to read this with her and we both absolutely loved it! I don't think she loved the parts with the food where the creator showcases a variety of prefectures with the food they are known for, but I thought it was a wonderful way to share about a variety of dishes and meals! It felt like a fun way to learn about Japanese culture and I loved it a lot personally!

However, everything else she deeply loved, and do feel the first three chapters or so are the strongest and most fun! Seeing the cats at the aquarium was absolutely adorable!

I would definitely recommend this to children and adults! It's a really fun illustration book that makes you feel happy with all the cute things these cats are doing!

I learned so much from these adorable traveling cats! We actually have some of these kitten stuffed animals and I always wondered where they came from, now we know! My favorite part was learning all the new edible dishes in the Japanese culture. I’m intrigued! Will be looking forward to more traveling cats!

5 Stars! Cuteness overload!!

This short book is about cats and their vacation in Japan. You get to the see the cats traveling, eating some traditional Japanese cuisine, and relaxing at a spa. The artwork is adorable, but also very well done. It had a lot of color and it wasn't just the same thing page after page. There was whole section on the cats eating Japanese cuisine which I found very informative.

The cats were wearing the cutest outfits depending on the location through the book, and I was so overly excited by how cute they looked.

Aaaawww... What a beautiful book! Beautiful illustrations, easy to read, ideal for bedtime. And for kids at heart, no matter their age.
A great book for those of us who, like me, love to travel and also love those small, furry, beloved companions on this great journey called life!
I thank the author and NetGalley for the opportunity to read this book.
The opinion I have expressed above is based solely on what I think and feel about this book.

Adorable! Absolutely the cutest illustrations!
It has no real-plot but I think it would be a nice children's book or a collectible for mofusand fans. It can also be used to learn some vocabulary words related to Japanese culture and different kinds of foods, Japanese cities, activities, etc (but it has no kanji or kana, only romaji).

I'd like to send my thanks to Netgalley, the publisher, and the author for providing a free pdf version of this illustration book in exchange for an honest review.

This an absolutely adorable graphic novel. This is full of kitties just traveling in Japan and doing all sorts of activities. The illustrations of all the cats are adorable and they just look so cute doing everything. I can't wait to read more Mofusand cute stories. This is a cozy, cute and lighthearted book that is sure to make you smile.

This is a very cute illustration book by JUNO featuring their signature cat illustrations. Each section is divided into themes, whether it be souvenirs from different prefectures of Japan to going to an amusement park. Readers can learn a surprising amount about Japanese culture from this book, especially the food!

While the illustrations are very cute and high quality, I wish there had been full page illustrations of scenes. Instead, we get only small snapshots or cat figures floating in white space. I'm not sure if these are illustrations were all collected from things Juno had already drawn, or if they were made for the book, but I think it would have been more special to include some double page spreads as well as full page illustrations.

This is an adorable book of cats traveling all over Japan! They start with booking and getting ready for the trip and then go through all the places they visit, foods they eat, etc. It's super cute.

Thanks to the publisher and NetGalley for letting me review this book. This was a fun read about cats who go touring around Japan. I like how the meanings for various Japanese words are given. There were several dishes that I plan on looking up the recipes for. My favorite part was the cats in the various hats.

Absolutely adorable! A great way to escape the world for a little bit too. The drawings are so cute I found myself just looking and imaging them acting out little lives.

I loved not knowing what I was going to see next - especially with the cats always being themselves, representing different things etc. I also didn’t find any of it to be repetitive - it all felt like its own beautiful page and I love that!

Highly recommend!

I am currently experiencing cuteness aggression from this book! The Mofusand Cats are rising in popularity in the united states, and this book is a great way for young readers to experience these cats, their characters, and this artwork. The illustrations are sophisticated but also playful and great for a young audience. There is also a lot of references to Japanese culture in this book, making it a great book to help with Japan related lessons and programs. I see that the is a fun book for elementary age to maybe 5th or 6th grade? Great for those who love cute illustrations, cats, and fun!

Thank you to the author and NetGalley for giving me a review copy.

I saw a review of this book on bluesky and I knew that I absolutely had to read it. I wasn't sure what to expect exactly in terms of text/illustration balance and it is mostly illustration based. The illustrations are stunning! The cats are so adorable and this really brightened my mood. I cried reading this from how cute the cats are!!!!

I saw this featured in the catalog and could not believe my eyes. This has to be the cutest book I've ever read, no exaggeration. I can't say that I was familiar with Mofusand before reading this comic, but I'm a bonafide fangirl upon completion. This illustration book featured the sweetest cats in various stages of traveling. From packing to airplane rides to sightseeing, Mofusand covered it all. This book didn't require much dialogue because the pictures spoke for themselves. I was in cuteness overload and kitty cat heaven to boot. I loved this book and hope to read many more adventures about Mofusand.

If you like seeing illustrated cats wearing silly costumes, this book is for you. If you're trying to find reasons to plan a trip to Japan, this book is also for you. If you're trying to justify another trip to Japan outside of Tokyo, Osaka, or Kyoto, this could also be useful for you. Heck, if you started to feel bad about how much PTO you have saved up... maybe that's just me. This is cute and surprisingly informative.
