This book is absolutely adorable. The drawings are beautiful and so cute. Thank you to the author, publisher, and NetGalley for sharing a copy of this absolutely beautiful title.

Thank you to NetGalley and Udon Entertainment for letting me read this arc.
This book is absolutely adorable. The drawings are beautiful and so cute. I really enjoyed reading it, and I would love to have it on my shelf so I can share it with my future children.
However, the story was very short, and I would have loved it to be longer. But the drawings made up for it.

The story takes us along Mofusand's calm journey to various trips. The illustrations are incredibly cute! I've been a fan of Mofusand for a long time, and it's a delight to see its first illustration book being published. The book is a relaxing, light-hearted read that's both perfect for calming readers on a busy day, or to lull us to sleep. I can picture myself picking it up over and over for a boost of motivation and happiness (also to stare at super cute fluffy cats!!). Looking at cute things is important after all. Would highly recommend it to everyone.

This was such a fun and beautiful book! The cats were adorable and so vividly illustrated.
As noted, it is more of an art book, but there are little text pieces that give a simple background story to the images, which I really liked.
I love that each label on the pictures was translated and explained. I can see the adaptation was done seriously.
You can also learn a lot about Japanese culture, especially food.
Overall, it is a simple and beautiful art book, which I would recommend to anyone liking cats and cute illustrations.
Thank you to the author, publisher, and NetGalley for giving me a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

Anyone who loves mofusand, Japanese culture, or who has visited Japan might really appreciate the charm of this book. It reminded me of my recent trip there! It was so cute , I had to share some of the illustrations with my friends.

Super kawaii, and absolutely the most wholesome thing you've ever seen!
Was I kind of expecting a graphic novel from the categorization and tags this tends to fall under? Yes. That being said I am smitten with these kittens, even with it being more of an art book than a comic with a full on storyline. Juno's illustrations are simple but some of the cutest I've seen: especially when they put the cats in silly hats.
Like a warm hug, this is the book to pick up when you just want something quick and comforting to read/flip through.
Thank you NetGalley and Udon Entertainment for the ARC!

First off, many thanks to NetGalley for letting me read this book as an ARC! I greatly appreciate it!
I've been reading more graphic novels lately, but I don't think that's what this is. It's more a picture book? Which I kind of expected, but also I thought it'd be more an art book. But you know what? It was cute as hell, so I don't mind one bit! There's the barest semblance of a plot, along with some of the cutest kitties I've ever seen! Do you like cats? Then read this!
Five stars out of five for Falling in Love with a Traveling Cat!

Loved this adorable illustration book. It read more like an art book with minimal text since the story was segment. I would read this book to a child in several sittings.

Mmmmmmofusaaaaaand!!!!! I adore adore adore these precious kitties and there is so much adorable artwork in this book!!! I loved following along on the kitties’ trips and seeing their cute outfits and poses! <3
GIVE US MORE!!! I love this, it’s so cute.

Talk about cute! These adorable cats are off on a journey, and I’m so glad they decided to bring us along for the ride.
Not only was it heartwarming, but I also learned a lot about Japanese culture—okay, mostly about the food, but that counts, right? This book is the perfect match for cat lovers, with bonus points if they love to travel, too.
The illustrations? Absolutely stunning, and full color!! I couldn’t help but savor each page, taking my time to enjoy both the visuals and the fun cultural tidbits sprinkled throughout.
I definitely am sending a copy of this book to my cat-loving travel companion before our next adventure!
5/5

Review to come mid-February to blog/other places.
I received this book from the publisher/Netgalley in exchange of an honest review.
I am sorry but I just couldn't resist this one when I spotted it on Netgalley! It was just too cute, and I could remember seeing this art on social media at times and wondering where to read/get more. Well, I got it all in this one!
In this mega adorable book we are going travelling with the kitties! They have big plans to go to all sorts of places. From aquariums to theme parks to beaches to trying out yummy foods. We are following the cats as they prepare for the trip (because you can't just GO after all, you need to figure out what goes in the suitcases (especially don't forget the snacks), where to go this time) and then as we head off with the first stop being the aquarium! Where the cuties will meet dolphins, see a parade of penguins, and many other gorgeous sea life. I was impressed that none of the cats actually tried to eat any of the fish, haha, I was so expecting that. Next up we get a theme park full of fun and I wished I could just step in and have fun with the kitties. And then it is time for nature/beach trips! All of these trips didn't just look fun, they also looked super cute. Seeing the cats in all their adorableness making food, lounging and drinking drinks, trying to keep cool while it is hot, and more. We even go to hot springs (a place I would still love to go to one day). I was just constantly SQUEEING in delight and cuteness. I may even have died because of the overload of cute, haha.
Then there are two chapters which are not so much about travelling but more about local/regional specialities. In one chapter we get some adorable kitties featuring items from a specific region and in another chapter it is regional foods. I really enjoyed these two chapters, though I think I would have liked them at the end, maybe before the travel memories (in which the kitties show us the fun souvenirs they got + give us tips on what to bring). That would just have fitted a bit more for me.
The art was adorable. It was cute. It was freaking KAWAIII. OK, sometimes it was a bit weird with how most of the times the kitties are naked but then suddenly for a beach trip wear bikinis, or how some items just looked a bit off. But in overall I was squeeing the whole time I was reading it. Sometimes stopping for a bit because it was too cute.
All in all, if you love travel + if you love kitties + if you love cute, you would do well to read this book!

This is an adorable book featuring cats on a travel adventure! It showcases these charming felines in cute outfits, enjoying delicious food, and partaking in all the fun activities you’d do while on vacation.
The art is absolutely delightful, capturing the joy and whimsy of their travels perfectly. It’s a wonderful read for cat lovers or anyone who appreciates charming, lighthearted stories paired with adorable illustrations. A truly fun and heartwarming escape!

I ADORED the illustrations of the cats throughout this. The story itself was very simple. I feel this is an art book more than anything.

This book is like the reading equivalent of the most comforting, warm hug. The designs are so playful and fun, whilst having the most intricate detailing to make the cats unique and efficiently tell a story with minimal words. There's so much joy within these pages that it leaves your heart so happy. My favorite part was the regional cats section. What an absolute serotonin-filled treat this is!

Super joyful art book, great for all fans of Mofusand and cats in general! Loved looking at the cute art of the mofusand charaters dressed up and on their travels in Japan.

An adorably illustrated book following the popular cats of Mofusand as they travel through Japan! Great for fans of Mofusand and cat lovers alike, whereby it's worth noting that the illustrations truly stand in the foreground of this work.

There's really no plot to this, and that's OK. The art is just so adorable. Cute little lightly anthropomorphized cats on vacation. I love how they pack.
Recommended for cat lovers.

I had never heard of Mofusand before this book. I'm still not quite sure what it is besides cute. The artwork is absolutely adorable. I especially liked the cats wearing fish hats.
I'm unsure of who the target audience for this is. There's very little words like a children's book, but it doesn't seem to be child-level vocabulary.
Thanks to NetGalley and Udon Entertainment for an advance copy.

Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for a free arc in exchange for an honest review.
Absolutely phenomenal! Juno’s art style is so adorable and I love how fun and cozy this little book is. I think this book would make an amazing gift for a cat lover (or anyone who likes cute art in general). Personally, my favorite illustration was one of kittens in maid outfits on roller skates. Highly recommend!

Falling in Love with a Traveling Cat is filled from the first to the last page with the most adorable illustrations of cats as they travel to different locations and enjoy different leisure activities. The illustrations are accompanied by short texts informing you about what the cats are eating or wearing, so you can actually learn a bit about Japanese culture and cuisine as well. My absolute favourite is the iwate cat, he's just too cute!
I would recommend this illustration book to any fan of Mofusand, for artists who are looking for inspiration, or for anyone in need of just something wholesome to look at. Who doesn't want a 100 pages of Mofusand cats in their life?
Thank you to NetGalley and Udon Entertainment for providing an ARC of this artbook in exchange for my honest review
