Another fantastic story by Abby Jimenez. She had me at the beginning with a hot guy who takes in a dog that is no longer wanted by its second owner! I can not wait to see if this books universe is expanded upon!

As my first Abby book, I actually really liked the soft sweet romcom feel of this book! It was cozy, sweet, and still had tones of seriousness that made this story line so good! Abby writes such a good meet cute & long distance relationship, that the entire time I was reading I was falling more and more in love with them.
I cannot wait to pick up more of her books!
Thank you NetGalley for the eARC!

The way that this book repeatedly warmed my heart and then broke it and then put it back together, sent me on an emotional rollercoaster like no other. But I would do it all again for this incredible book. I steadily cried for the entire back half and I say thank you and am ready for a second read. This is a beyond beautiful story about grief and family and how love, all variations of it, can be all consuming and life changing and alter your world. Abby Jimenez, you have a gift and don’t you ever stop writing.

I always like Abby Jimenez, but this one hit exceptionally hard. It's funny, romantic, heartbreaking, and lovely. Do read her trigger warnings at the beginning: there are some parts that will be hard to read if you've ever had a loved one suffer from dementia. But the story is beautiful and AJ did everyone justice. Must read.

Oh. My. Goodness.
I'm a huge Abby Jimenez fan, and I think this might be her best one. She absolutely knocked it out of the park. I laughed, I cried, I swooned. This book was absolute perfection. Her ability to write about relationships, not just romantic, but all kinds, while also making you adore the love story at the root of it. Wow. Amazing.

4.5 stars!
Thank you to NetGalley and the publishers for this ARC 🩷 I’m so grateful to receive opportunities like this :)
This was my first read from Abby Jimenez and she did NOT disappoint!!! Grumpy Vet x Sunshine Social Media Manager (literally perfect for me lol) Xavier is chefs kiss perfection and Samantha was super relatable and enjoyable. How am I supposed to not love a grumpy vet who loves animals and caring for them and has a soft spot for the girl who makes a go fund me for a kitten without a butthole 😭😭 Romance aside, the book was very realistic and not your typically “fluffy rom-com”. It kind of reminded me of Normal People with a little bit of a better ending and more humour.
SPOILERS FOR TRIGGER WARNINGS:
I’d been warned before that Jimenez’s books are usually emotional and touch difficult topics and I don’t think I braced myself enough for it in this book. I’m gonna emphasize TW for dementia, death of animals, violence, abuse, and neglect.

This is the first book I read by Abby. I enjoyed this lighthearted book and appreciated that it was a different than other books that I read. The book touched on many topics such as family life, living and taking care of a parent going through memory care and long distance romance. The couple isn’t rescued from their situation, from one of them being a millionaire which I can appreciate. It was basic life stuff that many of us find ourselves where we rescue ourselves. 3.5.

Semi SPOILER review below.

Pub Day: April 1
Here’s what I loved:
I have preordered every single Abby Jiminez book and have arc’d the last 3. Getting an early copy of her book is so exciting. However, since she’s an auto-buy author for me, I didn’t bother to read the trigger warnings. And for this particular book, I absolutely should have.
Here’s what didn’t work as well:
Dementia.
How it was handled stressed me out. Every time I picked up the book I felt heavy. It took me weeks to get through it when I can usually read a book in a couple of days. And maybe because I felt so heavy and detached, the mustard humor didn’t hit for me either. I didn’t like how one party had to give up everything and make every possible sacrifice.
All said, this book was incredibly triggering for me as I have first hand experience of a parent with dementia. I do still think the book was well-written but the contents was just not for me.
It’s possible that some people will love this book with or without the personal connection to dementia. But proceed with caution.
Thank you Forever Pub for the #gifted e-arc.

“Love is the brightest color in a gray world”
If sentimentality and intentionality was a book, this would be it. I’ve read every single thing Abby has written and I will never get tired of being reminded of how amazing a writer she truly is. Of course this one didn’t disappoint. Without spoiling it, this one is trope heavy - ‘insta love’ ‘right person/wrong time’ ‘long distance’. Asides from the romance tropes, this tackled some extremely heavy themes - dementia, being a caregiver to a parent, cherishing memories, the importance of remembering, the complexities of life & so much more.
I just love the way Abby writes couples! Xavier and Sam embodied yearning, commitment, sacrifice, and intentionality. Their love was not only exhibited the times they spent together but also in their times spent apart.

Thank you @netgalley @readforeverpub for the eARC, and Abby for constantly shocking me with your amazingness!

I was so excited to receive this arc of Abby’s new book, I love her writing & the other two books of hers that I read were easy 5 stars so it’s a little disappointing to have to give this one 3 stars. I’m just not a fan of the instant love trope but I still enjoyed the characters in this story, it just overall fell a little flat for me.

Beautiful, emotional, and so romantic—just like everything Jimenez writes! This story tore me apart and put me back together over and over again. I was a sucker from Samantha’s and Xavier’s first date, and I couldn’t stop reading…even through the tears! This is a love story that will stick with you.

5 stars
Thank you to NetGalley and Forever for providing me with an ARC in exchange for an honest review!
In Say You’ll Remember Me, Abby Jimenez delivers a romantic comedy that is as heartwarming as it is deeply emotional. From the jump we are introduced to Xavier Rush, a swoon-worthy veterinarian who seems too good to be true—until he proves it by acting like an asshole (her words). Enter Samantha, a sharp and determined woman who is as adept at putting arrogant men in their place as she is at keeping her own vulnerabilities under lock and key. Their chemistry is electric, their banter sharp, and their first date is perfectly imperfect. Unfortunately, the harsh realities of life force them onto separate paths, testing their resilience and straining both their mental and physical well-being as they navigate the challenges of a long-distance relationship.
Say You’ll Remember Me is a sweeping, near-perfect romance destined to dominate bestseller lists in 2025. From the moment Xavier and Samantha meet, I found myself wholeheartedly rooting for them—and never stopped. While some elements of the story delve into heavy, challenging territory, these moments only deepen the emotional impact of its central theme: creating a love worth remembering. What I especially appreciated was how Jimenez managed to give Xavier and Samantha their hard-earned HEA without resorting to convenient, unrealistic resolutions. Sacrifices were made, money was lost, and tough choices had to be faced, but in the end, love and family triumphed. It’s this balance of bittersweet realism and heartfelt romance that makes this story so memorable.
A truly beautiful story.

Everytime I read an Abby Jimenez book I am convinced that it will be my forever favourite because there’s no way she can top it, and everytime she writes a new book she proves me 100% wrong.
Say You’ll Remember Me is an unputdownable masterpiece from start to finish. When Samantha becomes the owner of a tiny kitten requiring vet care, she meets Dr. Xavier Rush, the dreamiest veterinarian there ever was, until he opens his mouth and she can’t help but call him an asshole. When he admits he made a mistake at the next appointment, they go on an unforgettable date that ends up altering both of them forever. But what do you do when you meet the right person at the absolute wrong time? Distance, family obligations and financial issues means that their only option is to forget about each other and cherish their memory of that one perfect date.
This book is filled with lots of heavy topics, so keep that in mind going in. However for me it made the story extremely realistic. Jimenez does a great job describing feelings of great happiness while simultaneously going through some of lifes greatest challenges.
This beauty hits shelves April 1, 2025 and I promise you it’s definitely one to add to your preorder list!

What a wonderful way to start my new year. This story resonates with me in so many ways. As a caregiver myself, I can relate to how the female MC feels caring for her mother who has dementia. As a person who was disowned by her parents when she was a teenager, I know how the male MC feels towards his narcissistic, abusive, estranged, parents.
But more so, I loved this pairing. Samantha is a funny, strong, interesting MC with a family of supporting characters that made the story believable and enjoyable. I was rooting for them all. I wanted to see their situation work out. Xavier was the perfect love interest. His conflict with his parents and his feeling of having to prove himself, the way he remained loyal to Samantha and was so caring towards her and her family (and all the animals he was taking care of as a veterinarian. The TikTok scene was hilarious!)...almost to his own detriment. And the little twist with Xavier towards the end was *chef's kiss.* Tears were shed. Happy tears.
This is a true love story. I hope Abby Jimenez gets a movie deal for this story. She always writes a great book, so my bar was raised suuper high going into this one, and she just bumped it up another level. It was the perfect mix of angst, sadness, hope, comedy, and most importantly...love.

Every single year I say the same thing. “I don’t know how she does it!” and “Abby Jimenez has done it again.” They are both true again in 2025! I read this book in just a few hours, which I haven’t done in years! I absolutely adore her writing. From page one I was laughing, swooning and falling completely in love with both Sam and Xavier. She writes the wittiest women and the sweetest men, no exception here! Xavier is seriously the guy you want all of your single friends to find - the absolute kindest, most hardworking and loving man. Ugh. The best.
I will say this one has some very sad and emotional moments. I found that it leaned into women’s fiction a bit more than her usual books, which personally worked for me. Be mindful of these triggers while reading: dementia, caregiver stress, death of a loved one.
What to expect::
•Creative meet cute
•The best first date ever
•Long distance love
•Opposites attract
•Great friends and family

Abby has a way to write a romance story but sprinkles in some heavier topics that make the stories relate to real life. I’ve enjoyed her last few books and look forward to the next one. The descriptions of Xander as Rhysand from Acotar also made me chuckle.

When Samatha saves a kitten and brings the kitten to the vet she didn't realize how much her life is about to change. Xander is a serious man, he has been through some tough life lessons and now he just wants to prove that he can be a success. After one unforgettable date, they throw caution to the wind and decide that no matter what they will be together.
This novel is emotional but so full of hope and love. You will be cheering for the characters.

Another fabulous read from Abby Jimenez who breaks your heart before beautifully putting it back together in the end! So much depth to the story. No obvious tropes like in most romance novels. But rather real life interferes. No one is wrong or right. And you wonder throughout how this will work itself out. Abby does it in the end as we know she will. Will definitely recommend!

Abby Jimenez you crazy b****. you did it again. you took me on the most insane rollercoaster of two people i want to be together SO BAD but you created real obstacles. this one was ROUGH. i cried through probably the entire back half of the book maybe? but i’m still thinking about this one days later. i loved this so much. jumped quickly to one of my top abby books.

Say You'll Remember Me by Abby Jimenez was a fantastic, quick, and funny romance that touched your heart at the same time.
