I can not thank yall enough for approving me for this ARC!! This was one of my most anticipated reads of 2025 and it did not disappoint!!! Where do I even start?! I adore Abby Jimenez’s writing and her books and the fact that they’re never just romance novels, they always tackle a heavy topic. This one though.. god it had me bawling my eyes out, one for the relationship between Samantha and Xavier cause I felt like they never caught a break, for Xavier and his past, for Samantha’s family like everything about this book had my heart BREAKING. I adored these characters, I had the best time with all of them. Xavier is such a down bad MMC and that’s what I LOVE to see, and I loved how Samantha showed up for her family even when it got extremely tough. I can’t recommend Abby Jimenez’s books enough!!! Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!

This was my first Abby Jimenez book and I'm about to make her my entire personality. All of my friends have been begging for me to read her stuff. And the typical dummy I am, I haven't. This book was the perfect combo of a romcom and a more serious Emily Henry-esque book. I immediately feel in love with both characters. I fully understood the choices they made for themselves. I laughed. I cried. I'm about to devour her back catalogue.

Wow! I loved this story, AND this book was heartbreaking at times. Xavier and Samantha had such a powerful connection, and I found myself wanting to stretch out the reading experience so that it didn't end. Abby knows how to write about difficult topics with grace and care. As always, she incorporated her signature humor which was amazing. Definitely recommend. Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for the ARC.

Abby Jimenez has become a must read author for me. I've never been disappointed by one of her books, and this title is no exception. It was heartbreaking and beautiful at all once. I could genuinely feel the exhaustion of the two MC's through her writing. Samantha and Xavier are both so likable and have wonderful chemistry. Both are genuinely good people stuck in impossible situations, desperate to do right by the people (and animals) that depend on them. The relationship tension doesn't come from silly misunderstandings or miscommunication, it comes from real life problems and wanting to do right by each other. This is one of those titles where you feel all the feelings along with the characters like you're right there in it, which is one of the highest compliments I can give a book.

I'm a big fan of Abby Jimenez! The most frustrating part of this book was the central conflict, how the two main characters were separated for 95% of it. As always, the emotional core of the book was satisfying, but the conflict was hard to read after a while.

“Love is the brightest color in a gray world.”
so i went into this book totally blind, i saw cute cover & abby jimenez and became the embodiment of “say less.” now what i did expect and probably should have tbh was that i was in the trenches almost the entire time 🙂↕️🙂↕️ this book was so gut wrenching, realistic and it hurt my feelings a lot! that said, i loved it with every fiber of my being 😭
these two are SO come back, be here coded its borderline cruel not only to them but me and my fragile feelings 😂
im not going to go into much details in this review because i personally think this would be a better experience without knowing every little detail, this story was much much more than just another romance. there were so many real life issues that every character in this book dealt and suffered with, its very raw and very real (the cover is deceiving as hell (tears WILL be shed 😂).
as a wise blondie once said: “this is falling in love in the cruelest way, this is falling for you and you are worlds away.”
i dont think these two could have been more perfect for one another, he is quiet and steady and she is chaos personified. they balanced each other out in such a lovely way, she brought him back to life and he gave her comfort, care and stability shes never really felt she had before.
read if your perfect book bf is any of these things:
rhysand brought to life ✔️
VILF ✔️
grumpy but a total simp the second he sees her ✔️
so hot hes a threat to feminism ✔️
caring, compassionate, “if he wanted to he would” personified ✔️

This is a wonderful book with loveable characters. A heartwarming enjoyable read with all the elements of a beach read.

I loved all the other book by this author and this book was no exception! This may be my favorite book by the author!

Wowza. Another book that Abby knocked out of the park. This one was harder to read, and I kept thinking, I hope I never get dementia or memory loss, as it's such a painful experience for all the loved ones around you. This topic was hard to read, but Abby has such a way of writing about difficult things and bringing out the threads of hope and love in every situation.

This was genuinely the most beautiful description of love-- romantic & not romantic-- i’ve ever read. This felt different from Abby's past work, but in the best way possible. SAY YOU'LL REMEMBER ME had me laughing, crying, and feeling butterflies as I read Samantha & Xavier's love story. This story was beautifully written and meaningful & I cannot wait to get my hands on a physical copy when it comes out!
Thank you for the advanced copy!

How do Abby Jimenez’s books keep getting better?‽ ! This made me laugh out loud so hard my husband asked me what was so funny (the viral parking lot moment! 😂), and it also made me cry.
Hilarious, mournful, and truly sweet. Absolutely adorable, and I’m not even really a pet person! So I think all animal lovers will LOVE this. Xavier the vet and Samantha have just the SWEETEST relationship.

I will not accept any criticism on Abby Jimenez, whatsoever! She can do no wrong and that is a point driven home in her latest novel, Say You'll Remember Me.
Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for an eARC.

This book broke my heart and healed it all at the same time. The love story felt so genuine that I couldn’t help but root for them throughout the entire book. This was a book that I couldn’t put down. Abby Jimenez has such a way with getting readers to connect to her characters and this one was no different. Xavier is now one of my favorite MMCs and the more I read about Samantha, the more I fell in love with her too. Alongside the love story, I was rooting for the family’s love story as well. What Samantha’s family was going through broke my heart but it’s an important story to tell and read.
Overall, I absolutely recommend Say You’ll Remember Me. I’ll be thinking about this book for a while and I already can’t wait to do a re-read.

Such a sweet book. I love the way Abby Jimenez writes her characters, especially her male characters. Whenever I read them, they make me love love. If you know what I mean? The way she writes makes me want to send a random text to my husband telling him I love him because of how romantic her books are.
Thank you Net Galley and publisher for an ARC of this book in exchange for a review.

This book started off strong then had a few "ehh" moments. Pacing-wise, I feel as though it could have taken a bit longer before a proposal. overall, it was a tad "heavy" for my likings for a romance though, but I think that's just due to personal experience with the subject matter. That said, I'll read anything that Abby Jimenez writes! Forever looking forward to the next one!

5 stars. Say You’ll Remember Me is a love story between a veterinarian with Rhysand vibes (his looks and the fact that he would do anything for the woman he loves) and a hilarious marketing genius. This book had me feeling such a wide range of emotions. There were some heavy topics as both characters had complex family dynamics (which made me want to cry at times) but I also literally LOL’d several times during this book, because of the banter between the characters and situations they found themselves in.
Highly recommend this book if you like:
-insta-love
-meet-cute
-against the odds
-hot veterinarians (lol)
-dual POV
Thank you to the team at Forever for the chance to read and review this eARC!

Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for the ARC.
I was so excited to be approved for this ARC and it absolutely did not disappoint. Some of the heavier aspects in this book were hard for me to read because I can relate to them and it just felt so real. I thought the romance between Samantha and Xavier was sweet, but I didn't feel as connected to them as I have with some of her other characters. Some of the aspects of their relationship felt too unrealistic, even for a romance book. However Abby Jimenez does a great job at writing mmcs that are completely obsessed with the fmc, and what's not to love there?
Edit to add that she is the only author that can make modern references work.

I'M WRECKED. DEAD. FOREVER.
Abby, I don't know how you do it, but you write ache and longing better than almost anyone. I LOVED Just for the Summer and truly didn't think this would measure up but IT DOES.
Witty banter, a beautiful cast of family, a perfect romance, and a deep dive into the meaning of living and loving. Cannot recommend enough.

Say you'll remember me is the heartache of the year. This book had me feeling every single human emotion while also having me laugh almost every single page. This book will change you. You will never be the same once you close it's pages. You will be a better family member, a better friend, a better lover, and better person. Say You'll Remember Me cannot be missed!

Abby Jimenez never disappoints. I was skeptical of my emotional ability to read a story dealing with dementia. Jimenez handled it with such tact and sensitivity, but honesty at the same time!
Loved Xavier's story and the beautiful relationship he built with Samantha! Highly recommend this book and any book by Jimenez!
