I really liked this cute, heartwarming, and funny romance. I needed something light and fun, and this did the trick. It has one of the best messages for life and love: find someone who will love you and accept you for who you are. I also thought the character development was great. I appreciated that it didn't have the typical 'misunderstanding break up' that most romances have, so this was like a breath of fresh air. I agree with other reviews in that I would have liked to see more survival aspects, but I would definitely recommend this if you're looking for a feel-good romance.

Awe I loved this book! It’s a good wholesome romance. Two people who couldn’t be more opposite end up stuck together and driving each other crazy until they realize just how good they have it! It was a fast read and you’ll keep turning the pages to see what happens next. I loved the witty banter in this book it make it quiet funny at times. This is just a lighthearted make you feel good read!

This is one of the ones that definitely sounds better as a description than what actually happens in the book. *Potential spoiler incoming* I thought they would actually be stranded on an island having to survive but like, it just turned into a vacation because they found a house that had food and power and it just didn't feel like there were any stakes which was really disappointing. The characters weren't written differently enough to know who was who by the way they spoke and I'm so sorry but the over use of the phrase "on account of" from both characters was getting on my last nerve. I understand that it was a normal phrase in the 50's and is normal for certain regions and dialects (trust me, I had to look it up to see if I was just being hypercritical) but to have both of the characters say it and they weren't from the same place really just got under my skin for some reason. The dialogue was very cringey and it felt like two teenagers falling in love for the first time instead of grown adults. It wasn't horrible for someone who is really just looking for a feel good love story but I really just expected more than what I got.

A wonderful read!
This novel drew me in from the very first page and kept me hooked until the end. The characters were vibrant and relatable, the writing was engaging, and the story had just the right balance of heart and humor. Highly recommend!
Many thanks to NetGalley, the author, and the publisher for my ARC. All opinions are my own.

This was cute, quick, fun, and light-hearted read that had me laughing it also makes a good beach/summer read because it’s funny and entertaining with all the summer vibes you could need.
Thank you NetGalley, publishers, and the author for the advanced readers copy of Tide Together I had a blast reading this.

Listen if Melanie writes a book I'm volunteering to read it immediately. I have read her entire blacklist which is rare for me. I live the quirky romcom vibes. She makes her characters so relatable you think it could be you. Sadly this missed the mark for me. Great beginning and end but the middle felt unorganized , choppy and repetitive. The story would have made a great novella and it would have felt more natural .

I totally loved this fast-paced, low-angst romantic comedy. Mac and Paige end up stranded on a tropical island after a storm. Perfect beach read!

Tide Together is a sweet rom-com. Paige and Mac were a great couple, and I loved when they were bantering. The side characters were great, except for Paige’s family. This book is a fade-to-black book, which isn’t really my thing. Overall, I enjoyed this book.
I was fortunate to receive a copy of Tide Together from NetGalley, and I am leaving my review of this book voluntarily.

Fun summer read. All it takes is one plane crash to shake up two people’s lives. Mac, is a loner and he likes his laid back lifestyle with no one to answer to. Paige, is a workaholic going above and beyond for a promised promotion. This will prove to her family she is worthy. Their three rules are always be winning, never be overweight and never ever be late. Having never followed any of these rules she feels like the family failure. Working up until the last minute she is desperate to get to her sister’s wedding. Begging Mac, her only hope leads them into a storm that causes them to crash on an island. With no hope of rescue in sight they learn to work with one another to survive. Paige takes on some of Mac’s laid back mentality and Mac realizes being alone isn’t all that it’s cracked up to be. Tide Together is an easy read, well-written romance with lots of food for thought regarding what one should value in life, the importance of an effective and straight forward dialogue, and how love (in its many ways)is the way to overcome major differences. This book will make you think, laugh, and wish a happy ending for an unusual couple.
I thank Ms. Summers, her publisher, and NetGalley for the free copy of this book.

Paige and Mac are complete opposites and get stranded on island together. It was so good watching them evolve throughout the book. This was so funny and I loved the plot and characters.

Paige is late for her sister's destination wedding; pilot Mac agrees to get her there. there is a storm and they end up stranded on an island. quick read,

This is one author that can make me laugh out loud with her stories. I love the setting, characters are so real it feels like I know them personally and the story catches you right from the start and holds your interest until the last page. Don't miss this one.

Melanie Summers always writes such fun books. Easy to read and enjoyable. While predictable, the journey to the end is always a wild ride filled with witty banter, outrageous scenarios, and perfect settings. I didn't love the characters, but Tide Together is fun and funny and a great way to spend an afternoon reading!

I read this as and ARC on NetGalley. What a wonderful story of life not working out as planned and finding your happily ever after anyway!

Melanie Summers is soooo good at describing sceneries...
4.5 stars for this super cute romance. How I wish it wasn't a closed door hahaha !
I loved both characters a lot. They seem very different at first but they fall for each other so quickly and so strongly that you want it to end well (considering it's a romance, it has to but you don't want them to have too much of a hard time before finding their way to each other).
I take 0.5 point off because of the "grampa winning one million dollar at the end". It made me cringe and seemed artifical (and I say it after our characters spending two or three weeks alone on a deserted island !!!!)
Thank you to Netgalley for providing an eARC in exchange for an honest review.

Tide Together by Melanie Summers is a lovely romance book - a close proximity trope. A busy ad agency assistant from New York is stranded on an island with a rugged, carefree pilot and sparks fly. I love how the romance developed first through emotional before physical conenctions, despite the immediate attraction between them. The characters were interesting and I liked the character development. A lovely read. Thank you, Netgalley and Gretz Corp for giving me the ARC in exchange for my honest review.

Thank you NetGalley and Gretz Corp for a copy of this book for me to review.
As expected, Melanie Summers did not disappoint! Filled with her trademark banter and flow, Tide Together is the perfect summer beach read (and all year round tbh since I read this at the beginning of spring). Her writing and overall book vibes always makes me feel happy and giddy; with a side of temporary heartache. And with every book I read of hers, it makes me question which one is my favourite because they're all so bingeable and heartwarming.
One of my favourite aspects of this book is just how funny it is - shoutout to one of the best chapter titles: 'While You Were Sleeping (Director's Cut)'). I also love how the one bed trope was done right lol with how the FMC made use of some light scheming to get what she wants.
Would read again!

I love Melanie Summers books. They are always such a good mix of funny and quirky and romantic. This one gave me a lot of vibes similar to that movie with Harrison Ford from the 90s, Six Days and Seven Nights, but without as much mortal peril. It was a good read and a fun romp. Highly recommend Summers' work!
Paige Chadwick is having the worst day of her life. Her tyrant boss has made her three days late for her sister’s destination wedding trip, and now she’s stuck on the wrong Caribbean island with the wedding just hours away.
Enter Mac Gamble, a brooding yet irresistibly attractive pilot, who reluctantly agrees to get her to the church on time.
When a fast-moving storm leaves them stranded on a deserted island, they’re forced to rely on each other to survive. As they navigate their new surroundings, tempers flare and an undeniable attraction grows.
Amidst the stunning sunsets and white sand beaches, Paige starts to see that underneath Mac’s gruff exterior is a heart of gold.
Can these two opposites find a love as deep as the ocean, or will their differences stir up a hurricane of heartbreak?
